“This was my first time at My Dung. The atmosphere and vibes were good. The customer service was good as well. I paid $7 and paid through Zelle. They only take cash or Zelle. I got the grilled chicken Banh Mi. It was okay. The chicken was tough. It tasted like it was either over cooked or left out for a long time. The bread was flaky and not too tough. I’ll give the customer service 5.0 🌟 and the Banh Mi 3.0 🌟.“

“I’ve been to LA Sandwich bar for lunch several times and it’s consistantly excellent - big menu, extremely high quality ingredients, and warm and friendly service.

Decided to order catering through them for a party and placed an order for about 60 sandwiches, a mix of regular and vegetarian options.

The sandwiches were a total hit! Our guests raved about them and it was perfect, handheld food to enjoy while talking to friends (we cut them into thirds to make it easy for guests to grab while they were chatting).

Would highly recommend not only for a quick lunch but a great option for a group gathering as well.“

“The bread is great, I have bought a few loafs there (top tip come at the end of the day and you get ten percent off bakery items) the food is good I had the roast beef sandwich, it was good but I didn’t quite like the soft bun that they used, and I asked if I could choose the bread next time, unfortunately they said that there were no substitutions on bread which is a bummer.

“I stopped by Mike’s Deli in DTLA on my way to Union Station, and I’m glad I did! While the store itself isn’t flashy at all, they do produce some extremely good sandwiches.

The girl working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Mike’s Deli #1, which is essentially a spicy version of a turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was super fresh and bursting with flavor.

Really, every aspect of this sandwich was memorable, and the meat-to-vegetable-to-bread ratio was on point. The bread was very fluffy and nice, too.

It’s an d-school, simple deli that doesn’t stand out cosmetically, but it’s clean, welcoming, and they pump out some top-tier deli sandwiches at reasonable prices.“

Strawberry Milkshake: Very creamy and not overly sweet! Just the way I like it~ Wings: The staff highly recommended me to try their wings. Sweet & Spicy flavor! “Had a short layover and I wanted to try a pastrami sandwich. This sport is what came from my research. I got the “basico” and it did not disappoint. It was a great delicious sandwich. Highly recommend.

“So happy we stopped by O Banh Mi for some delicious banh mi for a late to-go lunch while visiting Silver Lake! The lemongrass chicken and beef banh mi sandwiches were flavorful, fresh, and swiftly prepared, but what I really enjoyed was chatting with the owner, Natalie, who was so friendly and kind to me and my toddler. Vietnamese coffee was also perfect. We can't wait to return on our next trip back to LA!“

We did, got our order and there was stuff in the sandwich missing so we had to go up to them again and have them add the toppings. This could have been avoided if they just took our order in person in the first place.“

“I hired Betty and crew to help cater an open house at my business. They came early, set up, and did everything on their own. The food was really good, and visually very impressive for my guests. “Excellent place to catch a bite before taking the D line. Sandwiches are always packed really well if you're just stopping by on the way to work. There's a sandwich for everyone and the coffee is good. Good spot to pickup to wait in line at the Wiltern if you can make it before they close.

“This place is a hidden gem. The Philly cheesesteak with fries/drink combo is one of my favorite lunches on the westside. Plenty of well seasoned meat & veggies, and the option to add lettuce/tomato/mayo - which I do. And the sandwich is very neatly wrapped in paper and cut in half - making it easy to eat. The crinkle cut fries are always perfectly cooked - with a crisp outside, but still fluffy inside, and then enhanced with seasoning (Lawry’s maybe?). Plus self-serve Coke fountain beverages (a sign says only 1 refill, but they don’t seem to be stingy with this).

They also have teriyaki bowls and burgers - but I haven’t tried those yet.

They have a GREAT selection of bottled & canned sodas/drinks, including Jarritos, Jones, Boylan, and Snapple - big winners!

The inside is dated and worn…and it’s perfect!
It’s been here since 1957, and appears to be family owned & operated.

“Was at UCLA and was looking for a good sandwich for lunch. Glad I made the trip. Sandwiches were great and fairly good portions. A bit higher priced, but the flovors and ingredients were top notch. Great service front the counter explaining the options and giving some food opinions. Definitely be wback if I'm up here again.“

“Went to their toasted sandwiches a rowdy tourist bought all the avocado by the pound so I nearly left without ordering ... then I tried their italian sub and suddenly everything was fine again. Honestly the bread they use is incredible, still crunchy but doesnt tear up your mouth at all which is rare for me. I wasnt expecting much because tourist spots hit or miss but this place actually made my day better for real ... they have this one side salad with like pickled onions and I grabbed it on a whim ... “Off-the-charts delicious. And that’s coming from someone who’s eaten pizza all over the world — including unforgettable Neapolitan pizza in Naples.

I ordered a slice of the “Green” pizza and the Caesar salad, which is hands down the best Caesar I’ve ever had. The pizza crust is incredibly flavorful with the perfect consistency, and the edge of the crust had just the right thickness with beautiful airy pockets. Absolute perfection.

The Caesar deserves its own shoutout: homemade croutons that were so good they could be a menu item on their own.
