“I’ve been to LA Sandwich bar for lunch several times and it’s consistantly excellent - big menu, extremely high quality ingredients, and warm and friendly service.

Decided to order catering through them for a party and placed an order for about 60 sandwiches, a mix of regular and vegetarian options.

The sandwiches were a total hit! Our guests raved about them and it was perfect, handheld food to enjoy while talking to friends (we cut them into thirds to make it easy for guests to grab while they were chatting).

Would highly recommend not only for a quick lunch but a great option for a group gathering as well.“

“This place is an institution and it is very good but not going to be your typical sub shop you likely are expecting. They are CASH ONLY, and all their subs coming with the same ingredients, no lettuce. The pickles, onions, and tomatoes are not slices, they are chopped up and literally scooped up and place on the sub. It is delicious and they are very large portions, just not typical, know before you go! Try something different, you may like it!“

“I recently ordered catering from Lokal Venice and it was such a great experience. The place itself is super cute, the interior is really well put together and just beautiful to look at.

This was my first time ordering catering from them, and it was a total success. Everything was delivered right on time, and the presentation was amazing. I ordered burritos and asked them to cut them in half, which made everything look extra neat and organized, perfect for a group setting.

I had quite a few dietary restrictions to accommodate since this was for a Teacher Appreciation Day at a school (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, egg allergies, dairy-free) and they handled everything so well. The communication was easy, they responded quickly to emails, and made the whole process stress-free.

On top of all that, they even let me take their insulated bags to make it easier to transport everything, they just asked me to return them later. I thought that was such a thoughtful and helpful touch.

I 1000% recommend them, and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again for my next catering!“

I believe there was one vegan sandwich also. I ordered the Giving Tree sandwich , it came on delicious homemade focaccia bread with spicy mayo, herbed turkey, cheese and arugula. What a fantastic sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and was sliced SUPER THIN. The bread was really good quality. Also they sell Zapps chips which I love. The voodoo flavor is the ultimate OG.“

“I absolutely love this shop, it would be dangerous if I lived in the area… it’s located on Magnolia Street in a cute Burbank neighborhood, Little Nelly fits right in with its charming storefront and welcoming vibe. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. Even though I don’t live in the area, I have friends who do, and I often swing by when I’m in town because I also get my hair done at Dylan Keith salon nearby.

Recent highlights: I went with the Lil Guy sandwich with French ham and a chocolate chip cookie to-go. So good on the drive home to Orange County. “I stopped by Mike’s Deli in DTLA on my way to Union Station, and I’m glad I did! While the store itself isn’t flashy at all, they do produce some extremely good sandwiches.

The girl working at the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a Mike’s Deli #1, which is essentially a spicy version of a turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was super fresh and bursting with flavor.

Really, every aspect of this sandwich was memorable, and the meat-to-vegetable-to-bread ratio was on point. The bread was very fluffy and nice, too.

My wife just brought me back a Mr. G's (she did it right and got everything on the side that wasn't meat and cheese) and it was still the best Sandwhich I've ever had. It's truly that good. Their dressing is a masterpiece. Their pickles must be hand delivered from heaven. EVERYTHING about this Sandwhich is next level. There truly is nothing else like it!“

“This place is a hidden gem. The Philly cheesesteak with fries/drink combo is one of my favorite lunches on the westside. Plenty of well seasoned meat & veggies, and the option to add lettuce/tomato/mayo - which I do. And the sandwich is very neatly wrapped in paper and cut in half - making it easy to eat. The crinkle cut fries are always perfectly cooked - with a crisp outside, but still fluffy inside, and then enhanced with seasoning (Lawry’s maybe?). Plus self-serve Coke fountain beverages (a sign says only 1 refill, but they don’t seem to be stingy with this).

They also have teriyaki bowls and burgers - but I haven’t tried those yet.

They have a GREAT selection of bottled & canned sodas/drinks, including Jarritos, Jones, Boylan, and Snapple - big winners!

The inside is dated and worn…and it’s perfect!

The lemongrass chicken and beef banh mi sandwiches were flavorful, fresh, and swiftly prepared, but what I really enjoyed was chatting with the owner, Natalie, who was so friendly and kind to me and my toddler.
