“Without a doubt, this is our favorite Russian/Ukrainian grocery store in Los Angeles! We drove a long way just to shop here, and it was absolutely worth it.
The selection is incredible—you can find almost everything from Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. It brought back so many memories! We ended up spending almost $800 because there were so many amazing products we wanted to take home.
We bought red and black caviar, fresh homemade meals, dairy products, kefir, pomegranate juice, ice cream, snacks, and so many other authentic products. Everything was fresh, high quality, and delicious.
The homemade food is outstanding. We especially loved the Ukrainian borscht, Uzbek plov, beef stroganoff, stuffed cabbage rolls (golubtsy), chicken kabobs, lamb chops, syrniki, crepes, Olivier salad, and homemade pastries. It honestly tastes like real homemade cooking.
The staff was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. The store is clean, well organized, and fully stocked with authentic products that are very difficult to find anywhere else.
If you’re looking for authentic Eastern European, Russian, Ukrainian, or Georgian food, this is the place to visit. We highly recommend this store and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for such an amazing shopping experience!“

“Stopped by here at random cause my fiance was craving a deli sandwich....honestly was superb. Excellent service and friendly staff. She got the super Ruben and I got the garlic grill sandwich with brisket, soooooo tasty. Definitely a hidden gem worth trying for some classic deli food.“

“We enjoyed brunch at Lovi's. We were sat immediately (with a reservation) and our server was terrific, checking in several times to ensure we were enjoying our food. The food was good with generous portions. It was a bit loud in there as there was a party going on in the private dining room and a soccer team that came in around the same time. Overall I thought it was good but probably not so good for us to drive back to Calabasas.“

The tray was fantastic, filled with meat, cheeses, pickles, olives, peppers ssurrounded by lettuce. We've ordered before from other delis, but yours was incredible and delicious. “The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.“

“Clean and well organized store. All products have proper price tags, no expired food, friendly staff and all wearing masks. I was lucky to pick up freshly baked Russian Rye bread still hot with crispy crust! Honestly, I was positively shocked! Usually Russian stores in LA are horrible, but this one is absolutely opposite. Please keep it this way.“

“All wraps and burgers can be done in a gluten free wrap if needed. Make sure to ask. I have ciliac so gluten is a big no for me. Honestly, this place surprised me. I came with a group of friends and didnt expect to be able to eat much. Sean, I believe, went above and beyond in helping me out and explaining that they could do whatever is on the menu in a gluten wrap so I had more options. Been years since I've been here but I'll be back for sure. Also, gotta love a place that still believes in good size portions. Always nice to be able to take some home if I want. But check out their menu, they have great flavors in all the categories really. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Water mister on the patio area during the hot days. Would recommend of course.“

“I've only had Honeybaked for holidays. Went there for lunch today. Oh my that was the best ham sandwich I've ever had. I never finish my meals but I ate the whole thing. And the potato salad was so good. I'm so stuffed but my mouth still wants more because it was so tasty. 10 stars!“
