I have been going here all my life and I always get the bagels. Uncle Bernie’s has never disappointed me. Also my dad worked here in the past and had been going to uncle Bernie’s for all his life.
I was looking for a deli in Encino to go to after my doctor's appointment, Uncle Bernie's DID NOT disappointment! I had THE BEST Monte Cristo sandwich! I also had exceptional potato pancakes. My husband loved his Maria burrito. A fine example of a New York deli.Parking: I was here at noon on a Thursday. There was ample parking, but shares with other businesses.

Giant portions, tasty food, classic diner menu. This is really nice restaurant and a go to spot if you’re feeling like diner food. The soup and sandwich combo is perfect. Pastrami is delicious. Highly recommend this spot, just make sure you bring a big appetite!
