“We went to this place in Encino for the first time all of us this morning for brunch; we were there at 10 am and it was perfect to get a big table right away because I guess so early no one goes there! When I left around 12 noon, I noticed it was getting so packed... We all enjoy our food: so delicious and very fresh: we had avocado and eggs toast, magherita pizza, truffles pasta and cappuccinos and smoothies! I highly recommend the Taro smoothie with Oatmeal milk I highly recommend Beck's cafe in Encino“
“Giant portions, tasty food, classic diner menu. This is really nice restaurant and a go to spot if you’re feeling like diner food. The soup and sandwich combo is perfect. Pastrami is delicious. Highly recommend this spot, just make sure you bring a big appetite!“

“Greeted kindly from the second I walked in! The lovely ladies working there today (Wednesday) late morning/early noon made my experience worth the drive! Drove from Santa Monica to get the celebration cake at this location for my mom's birthday. I also picked up beautiful heart sparkler candles and cute mini party hats from the beautiful table set up with a variety of candles and last minute necessities for the occasion! Will definitely make the drive for the wonderful service and cake options!“
“Perfect place to come on a rainy day for a big bowl of cafe au lait.I like to have the soft bolied eggs, they come with bread for dunking and a nice bowl of warm oatmeal.Today is a rainy day so it's even better.It is way more busy here than I recall.There is parking downstairs I think they validate a portion.“
“Tucked into an insane little parking area at Ventura and Newcastle ((and practically invisable from Ventura Blvd)), this place is AMAZING,....the cookies are light as air, and delicous, and the Eclares.....holy mother of pastry ! !Prices are very fair, and the quality is top level. “Angel Bakery has the best pita ever or a the least the best pita in Los Angeles. They might have the best pita in America. I'm not even kidding. I've been married to an Israeli for 15 years and in all that time I have never been able to figure out why they want to eat pita. It's a dry taste disk than you can shove stuff into..... And then came Angel.... I bought a package at my local grocer because it didn't feel stale and gross like the other brand that's popular here in Kosher places. When I got it home I was in shock. It's so moist and fluffy. It tastes good. It feels good. It looks good. It opens without cracking. The inside almost has the look of an English muffin because it has those little "nooks" which make it all the better to soak up your sandwich.“
“I decided to eat here with my family for breakfast after the first day of Hanukkah and the owners communiciated with me that it will be around 35-45 minute wait for food due to high number of customers ordering on site and online. Sat outside but decided to walk inside to order latte's and bake goods meanwhile.Inside is DEVINE. It was full of customers waiting to buy the Chanukah donuts (seasonal only, I was told) and we ended up taking to our table all 14 flavors of delicious mouthful. and took another 12 special assorted flavors to go to gift to our family friend.Time went by quickly shared with my good company and inside this family-oriented environment. Everybody was working hard, and the food was worth the anticipation. My family and I walked out pleased and impressed by their quality. We will all be coming back in again.“
