“Inside, there is only room to order food and buy bread. Their cinnamon roll is pretty good, but served cold. Their everything cookie is delicious. There is ample seating outdoors for brunch, and servers are nice. The breakfast sandwich is good, and their standouts are shakshuka (absolutely delicious!) and the chai latte. Their vanilla latte is also well bodied and just sweet enough.“

I would also like to recognize the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The ladies at the counter always greet customers with a smile, are happy to help with recommendations, and create a genuinely pleasant atmosphere. Doan’s was my choice because they were willing to work with our budget, but mostly because : THEY ARE SO NICE! One phone call with Marina, and I knew I liked her. I knew I could trust her to do great work. She was supportive, kind, and was on my side. They provided the cake, delivered, and placed the topper and flowers on our cake. “Dropped in on our way to Universal Studios to let traffic die down . Pleasantly surprised by this little gem . calm, caring & inviting staff + atmosphere. Food was spectacular!
My girls really enjoyed the matcha latte and avocado toast. The fresh bread spread they brought out for us to try with olives, olive oil feta, sweet cream butter and jam was a special treat! We took home a loaf of fresh rosemary sourdough to enjoy after our trip.“

“BIG MARKET, contrary to its name, is a compact Middle-East grocery store specializing in cultural foods, many from Israel.

The majority of the labels are printed in Hebrew. Some offer English translation. The canned and packaged goods have pictures of what's inside. Or if necessary, the checkout person will translate.

The selection of canned and packaged foods is broad; while fresh fruits and vegetables are limited. Frozen food cabinets contain Kosher and a few Kosher vegan items.

The selection of bakery goods are delicious, reasonably priced, but limited.

Kosher meats are displayed at the rear of the store.

Religious serving pieces, as well as, seasonal, paper goods, and utensils are at the front of the market.

Prices are competitive.
