“This review is overdue. First, I've been here twice and the service is just amazing. The ladies that work here are so nice and so is the guy in the back. Excellent customer service. Second, on the back of the Ralph's receipt (the supermarket in the same shopping center), they advertise, buy 1, get 1 free, which is an excellent deal. And, you can use the coupons over and over which is really cool. Third, they allow you to sample all of the flavorful ice creams and are very patient with you while you make your decisions. We normally get two cones with two scoops each and buy one, get one free! It's an amazing deal! We've tried the cookies n creme, salted caramel, butter pecan, strawberry cheesecake, and the chocolate- everything is so yummy and tasty.“

“I recently bought the Earl Grey Tea and Berry Cornbread at my local Kroger store and was blown away! The richness and the flavor profiles were out of this world, especially the latter flavor of the two. It’s dangerous to know the Kroger store is only five minutes from my house. I’ll definitely be trying other flavors.“

Theres this little icecream shop in ensenada and the chocolate is the best we have ever had and this icecream tastes just like it. They had tons of flavors and the service was fast too. “Quaint store facing the Costco place, Mario the server was very friendly and helpful in telling me about the different flavors, they have a several varieties of pistachio flavored Gelatos, the place was kept clean and very classy.

“Stopped at this place after looking up a dessert shop that sells rolled ice cream.
You definitely get what you pay for. Plenty of thick rolls (4 in total) of selected flavors with up to three toppings to choose from.
I chose the lime with graham cracker flavor and it was creamy, crunchy, and cool to taste. The server/ice cream prepped was very polite, professional, and prompt in taking our orders and in preparing the ice cream. A very nice experience.“

Despite a full establishment and a steady stream of customers continuing to come in, he remained completely focused on giving every single person an excellent experience. He worked quickly without ever rushing, making sure each order was done right the first time.

Even with a long line, Julian took his time at the register to ensure accuracy, double-checking orders and even asking if we had a punch card to use, something that could easily be overlooked when working solo under pressure. His professionalism, attention to detail, and calm demeanor stood out and made the experience enjoyable for everyone waiting.

I honestly couldn’t help but feel for him being on his own-he definitely could have used some support but he handled it all with efficiency and a positive attitude.

Boss man, take note and recognize this hardworking employee; dedicated workers like Julian are hard to come by these days.

“So our journey begins with a hot day. A few degrees cooler than the SF valley, but still pretty hot. As we venture through quite a bit, we were looking for a place to cool-off. The first suggestion in the car was ICE CREAM!!!! The vote was unanimous. This presented a few decisions to be made. We can go to the valley, and enjoy Cold Stone or settle for something else. Clearly it was too far. So our next decision was to find one here in Simi Valley. At this point we find ourselves with something that happens in many food chains. We tend to find the greatest link that is above our set standards. When we think those standards are met by the rest of the links, we some how find the weakest link. This typically ruins the image of the whole food chain, or just keeps us going to one. That stereotype has been debunked by Cold Stone. Benefit of the doubt, maybe not all….maybe. In my scorecard Cold Stone is two for two. Making this location the treat location away from home.

In my snapshot when we came in we missed the masses by a minute or so. Like all other families had the same Idea at the same time(Almost). Which it was comforting to see this location filled up quick. The almost all male crew and one female were pretty fast in working together to get our-oh-so yummy treats in our hands. I have been on a chocolate trip lately, and the Germanchocolatekake was a nice way to give farewell to the evening sundown and welcome to the Sunday night.

As we walked outside, they have a patio with a waterfall fountain. Unique in style the area was serene. The only issue was that the table were dirty. As other customers of the shopping center made messes. Unfortunately I don’t think this area is observed by any one business. Luckily, we keep Clorox wipes. The table got cleaned, and there was the good deed for the day. Clearly this was an issue on most of the tables. Another family also enjoyed a Cold Stone treat. So we offered Clorox wipes to them as well. The down side was that I got pictures of the Ice cream when it was done. I think it makes a good reason to go, and enjoy your own cone, or cup of joy for yourself.“

The best thing about it is that they use real fruit in the ice cream! unlike other similar ice cream shops that use artificial color and or flavors(thrifty) . “Great mom and pop place for anything juices, shaved ice , ice cream and hot chocolate!I got a Lulo juice,(not pictured) which is a subtle citrus yet earthy tea like shake that was right up my alley. I don't like overbearing sweetness. And since this shops main ingredients are 100% natural. It's perfect for my taste.I also got a shaved ice lemonade (pictured) which was perfect. I can taste the whole lemon essence with a perfect amount of sweetness!My brother got a hot chocolate (pictured) And it was phenomenal. A slightly gritty drink but all cocoa chocolate. Almost like a abuelitas chocolate mix. But way less sweet and more coco forward. Highly highly recommend.Overall if I lived near and frequented the mall I'd always get something from here. “This spot is seriously one of the hidden gems around. The food is ALWAYS fresh, stacked, and made with care. Look at this sandwich, thick egg, fresh avocado, crisp vegetables, quality bread, everything balanced perfectly. You can tell they don’t cut corners here.

But honestly, the best part is the people. These ladies are some of the kindest workers I’ve met. They actually remember me and my order even if I haven’t been there for weeks, and they always treat me with genuine warmth and respect. That kind of service is rare now. You don’t feel like “just another customer” here.

The shop has that old-school neighborhood feeling where people actually care about their regulars. Great food, great energy, hardworking people, and consistently good service every single time.
