“We stumbled into Tifa Chocolate & Gelato completely on a whim after eating at the sushi restaurant next door, and wow—what a happy accident! We tried the mango sorbet, vanilla bean, whiskey apple, and milk & cookies gelato, and every single flavor was incredible. So fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced. We also picked a surprise box of 7 truffles to take home for later, and they did not disappoint—absolutely delicious and beautifully made. Everything from the flavors to the quality was top-notch. I just wish we had a place like this back home in Louisiana! If you’re nearby, this spot is a must-stop treat. 🍦✨“

“Manager Marissa made delivery order while at Encino store which generally has very very poor service and makes lots of mistakes with no responsive management. However the day Marissa was covering for that store my cookies were the very best I have experienced. She was supposed to respond to my email and did not but did a great job on my delivery order and given my recent delivery issues I appreciate that she made sure my order was fresh and correct“

“This place is great. I’ve been here twice and wish I lived closer as I would come far more often. In fact my second visit happened because we were driving down the 101 and said, “hey we are near this ice cream shop, let’s get off the freeway and go there. “. I mean when do you ever get off a moving freeway in California, because you’re driving by an Ice cream shop! But that’s how good this place is. Calling this place an Ice cream shop is a little unfair though, as there stand out is their shaved ice. This is not the shaved ice we all grew up with... Granuly, with flavored multi-colored sugar water poured over the top. Instead this is a preflavored Ice that they thinly shave off of. The shaving are so thin it’s not like eating ice, but rather a smooth velvety dessert. I got the strawberry Ice over Black cherry ice cream. But they have about 10 different Ice flavors and about 20 different ice cream flavors to try. I would recommend you come and try their shaved ice.“

“Been to other locations for Tifa. But this was our first visit to his location. There is a nice fountain right outside of the store so it would be a nice experience to sit by the fountain and enjoy the gelato.

The inside of this store is nice, pretty similiar to the other location nearby. You can get board games and hang out a bit in the cool air conditioning.

We got two samples and my daughter ordered a small cup. She liked the flavors. It would have been better if the greetings were a bit warmer. Really there wasn’t much, not even hello or a smile from either server of the day. I have been to a few places in a day and this was the only one that was a bit off.

“I can’t say enough good things about Handel’s Ice Cream — so delish. Everything always tastes so fresh, and I love that you can get a really small cup when you just want a little treat. The staff is always also so sweet!

My go-to is Rocky Road with sprinkles. I do wish they had chocolate sprinkles like they do in Pennsylvania, but the red, white, and blue sprinkles are fun and very on-theme right now.

“So our journey begins with a hot day. A few degrees cooler than the SF valley, but still pretty hot. As we venture through quite a bit, we were looking for a place to cool-off. The first suggestion in the car was ICE CREAM!!!! The vote was unanimous. This presented a few decisions to be made. We can go to the valley, and enjoy Cold Stone or settle for something else. Clearly it was too far. So our next decision was to find one here in Simi Valley. At this point we find ourselves with something that happens in many food chains. We tend to find the greatest link that is above our set standards. When we think those standards are met by the rest of the links, we some how find the weakest link. This typically ruins the image of the whole food chain, or just keeps us going to one. That stereotype has been debunked by Cold Stone. Benefit of the doubt, maybe not all….maybe. In my scorecard Cold Stone is two for two. Making this location the treat location away from home.

In my snapshot when we came in we missed the masses by a minute or so. Like all other families had the same Idea at the same time(Almost). Which it was comforting to see this location filled up quick. The almost all male crew and one female were pretty fast in working together to get our-oh-so yummy treats in our hands. I have been on a chocolate trip lately, and the Germanchocolatekake was a nice way to give farewell to the evening sundown and welcome to the Sunday night.

As we walked outside, they have a patio with a waterfall fountain. Unique in style the area was serene. The only issue was that the table were dirty. As other customers of the shopping center made messes. Unfortunately I don’t think this area is observed by any one business. Luckily, we keep Clorox wipes. The table got cleaned, and there was the good deed for the day. Clearly this was an issue on most of the tables. Another family also enjoyed a Cold Stone treat. So we offered Clorox wipes to them as well. The down side was that I got pictures of the Ice cream when it was done. I think it makes a good reason to go, and enjoy your own cone, or cup of joy for yourself.“

“I stopped by this Dairy Queen to use my TMobile Tuesday code on the blizzard. This location is near where my work office is so it made sense for me. I placed my order off the mobile app. To use the deal on the blizzard I had to buy something else first, so I got a bag of Lays chips.

I found parking just fine in the plaza this store is located in. When I walked inside, they were not busy at all so I just give the lady the name of my order. She handed it to me and I ate some of it inside of the store. I thought it was good and better to eat when it's fresh. Customer service was great when I was here. They have outdoor seating here as well.“

“I have been coming to this place for many years. The frozen yogurt tastes great and has always been one of my favorites. Compared to other frozen yogurt shops, the prices are a little higher, but the quality is very good.
My only concern is that I hope they can adjust or repair the machines. Even a small push of the lever can dispense a large amount of frozen yogurt, making it easy to end up with more than intended.“

“It was a wonderful experience that let us try a few flavors. I've never had gelato. It was delectable. I went with the Elvis, the peanut butter chocolate and the lemon sorbetto It was great. The lemon reminded me of my childhood where you get the frozen lemonade in a cup and eat it with the popsicle stick. They even had board games you and a friend can enjoy. It was a great time“
