Che Gelato! is a wonderful gelato shop in the Moorpark/Simi area, just outside Moorpark College. It offers Argentinian or Italian style creamy gelato with a wide range of flavors, including Dulce de Leche, strawberry, Sabayon, granizado, Vainilla, chocolate, cappuccino, mint, stracciatella, watermelon, grapefruit, banana dulce de leche, Almond, and Dubai Chocolate. The mint tastes like fresh sprigs of mint picked from the garden. The gelatos and sorbets are all made in-house with fresh ingredients and less added sugars. Vegan flavors are included. The watermelon sorbet is a must-try. The owners are very kind, super friendly, and will explain how they make their gelatos, offering many samples. The decor is cute with an ice cream parlor twist and a chic, unique Italian decor. It is a great place to come after visiting the zoo at Moorpark College, with a great atmosphere and vibes. Pints to go and frozen packs for trips home are available.
