“Great cookies! However, this store was unable to handle their own promotion that made them extremely busy. I ordered my cookies in advance but when I picked up- they were sold out. They were giving customers different options regarding the sold out cookies and it varied from one customer to the next. No consistency and it was clear this was a new issue that they had no protocol for.“

“The Funnel Cake was fire. - fresh out the bath! The ice cream was high quality and it held up to the hot funnel cake (didn't turn into soup)! On a different note, the tables need to be serviced better between guests so as to not get the customer before you's sticky experience (ick).“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.“

“I recently visited Vanak restaurant, and it was a pleasant experience. The place is cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a casual meal. The staff was very friendly and quick to take our orders.

My son ordered Joojeh Kabsb, which was juicy and flavorful, served with a side of rice. I ordered Abgoosht, and I loved how fresh and well-seasoned it was. It reminded me my childhood traditional abgoosht places in Tehran.

The prices were reasonable, and the portions were just right. Overall, Vanak is a great spot for a quick and tasty meal. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Dropped in on our way to Universal Studios to let traffic die down . Pleasantly surprised by this little gem . calm, caring & inviting staff + atmosphere. Food was spectacular!
My girls really enjoyed the matcha latte and avocado toast. The fresh bread spread they brought out for us to try with olives, olive oil feta, sweet cream butter and jam was a special treat! We took home a loaf of fresh rosemary sourdough to enjoy after our trip.“

Her big day was made extra special because Skiff’s Cakes made the most spectacular themed cake! “Although I have lived near Cake Bash for years, I only recently tried them out to see if they might be a good choice for our wedding cake. We bought a couple cupcakes and we were BLOWN AWAY. Never had such a moist spongy cupcake in the Valley. We ran our design by them and they said they could do it. The finished project came out incredible looking and served everyone at the event and then some. Our guests were raving about the cake, asking where we got it, getting the name of the place. People were having two or three slices each. We couldn't have been happier with our choice and working with Cake Bash was so easy and professional.“

“All the employees are so incredibly kind and helpful. They have the best gluten free bagels, especially the breakfast sandwiches (vegan bacon egg and cheese is my favorite). The pastries are also delicious. Truly a perfect place for someone gluten free.

“This bakery offers a lot of the traditional goods a panaderia would but also has an impressive menu of food and drinks to try. Their asada burritos and tacos are always so tasty and well marinated. If you are a fan of extreme spice, then try the salsa they offer, otherwise it's fine the way it is. All comfort food served by some of the friendliest people.“

I was in the neighborhood and smelled the fresh baked aroma and had to stop it. The clerk at the register was very polite and helpful ! I ordered goodies for the whole family to try !

“We can't rave enough about Kaye's Cake Designs! We had a last minute thought to get a Mother's Day custom cake made with figures of my Brother, Sister and I as kids. Kaye even included our cat. She matched the pictures we sent in perfectly and even had us wearing the exact same outfits. She is so very talented and the attention to detail was amazing. We couldn't stop looking at it.
