What a fun place! Even the day before Purim they were extremely kind, even though the place was packed. And they were super efficient as well. I highly recommend them for the tasty food and kind service!
This bakery was introduced to me as a hidden gem and I absolutely agree. The apple pie had a homemade aspect to it, the crust was flaky and soft, the sugar sprinkled on top really sent the pie to the next. We decided to heat the pie up in the oven and added a scoop of vanilla ice cream and I have to say, some of the best apple pie I've ever had. I've been coming to Bea's since I was a child. I love this bakery. I remember the original location on Ventura Blvd & Topanga Cyn. That was in the 1960s and 70s. Bea was always there, and she was lovely. Whenever a child comes into Bea's and give them a cookie. I told one of the employees about that. He gave me a cookie. We laughed, and I thanked him. It was great!
