The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.

First enjoyed one of these sandwiches in 2017 in San Jose with my daughter, she was 16, now she is in college at CSUN, and I was so excited to go see her and buy lunch at Ike’s … I highly recommend the “Dutch Crunch” bread and EXTRA “Dirty sauce” on whatever sandwich you get!
