Canter’s Deli is an LA classic and a must visit for anyone who loves that old school deli feel. All the staples are on the menu and the old timey look of the inside rounds out the experience. Food is very solid if not a bit overpriced. Bakery is by weight for a lot of items so expect to pay more than you think. Parking is free in the lot next to the building if you are eating. Service isn’t the best on most of our visits, but the people watching makes up for it!

We stumbled upon this iconic LA restaurant when we tried going to a neighboring restaurant that didn't have any reservations available. The 3 stars are for the ambiance and history. 0 stars for the food but I have to admit that I only had grilled cheese.
