I finally tried the sandwich I've been thinking about, pastrami, my favorite among them all! Even though I've had tastier pastrami sandwiches in different styles, this old-school pastrami is delicious too! When I'm in LA, I'll definitely have it again!
It was a bit expensive BUT!! the pastrimi sandwich was very good1. Pastrimi with chili and cheese1. Order of fries1. Slice of Pie$40.09 to me it was worth it I'd most definitely go again

I've been dining here for many years and it's the atmosphere of this old school diner that keeps bringing me back. Don't get me wrong, the pastrami is excellent, the french fries are very good (sometimes excellent) and the coleslaw is tasty (these three menu items combined make up their "Johnny's Deluxe Pastrami Plate")Outdoor seating is great but I always prefer sitting in an old booth next to the window.
