“I loved this spot! Manager was so friendly and bright, and the selection of toppings available was amazing. Even better than Menchie's or Yogurtland. The drawings on the whiteboard were cute, and with the black-and-white photos, glass soda bottles, decor, and music really made it more appealing than a larger chain.“
“I absolutely luv this yogurt! It's so rich and creamy I forget it's not ice cream. This is an immaculate store that is kept clean like every moment. The bathroom is also very nice and clean. Which brings me to Emerson the super nice fellow behind the counter! What a happy guy that takes good care of me. I watched him take really good care of the people at the counter as well. He brightens my day (way too often) This shoppe is my #1 as is Emerson*“
“I recently visited Tang and Java and was blown away by the exceptional experience they offer. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, and it was evident that this is a place that values customer satisfaction above all else. Not only do they offer high-quality items, but their commitment to using locally sourced ingredients adds a level of freshness and authenticity to their menu that is truly commendable. What's even more impressive is that Tang and Java is a women-owned business, which makes supporting them even more meaningful. It's inspiring to see such dedication and passion reflected in every aspect of their operation.Whether you're looking for a delicious cup of coffee, a tasty pastry, or a satisfying meal, Tang and Java has something for everyone. I highly recommend stopping by and experiencing their fantastic offerings for yourself. You won't be disappointed!“
“So goooooddddd. But the passion fruit was a bit too sweet which I didn't notice when I tried a sample. But when I got it as one of my scoops I said whooaah lol but very good flavor. Very small but cute. Great customer service the young lady was very patient with me and my two friends.“
“We are from Orange County and our most favorite server, Ash, now works here. Her service and attention to detail is always next level and this restaurant is amazing. She recommended the The muscles and clams - hands down scrumptious! We sat outside by the fire! We are so happy she is now at such a great establishment. Love the ambiance and of course the service is TOP NOTCH! Smart people hired this girl!“
“Chocolate Oreo Ice Cream! Let me tell you it definitely hit the spot, one of the best ice creams I've tried I can see why it's one of their top flavors. I got the single scoop and it's a good amount of serving but I should have gotten a double scoop for sure! If you love chocolate ice cream and Oreos, then this is the perfect flavor for you. Although, there is a hint of coconut in the aftertaste in case you're not too huge on coconut. But the actual flavor overpowers it. We went late at night but the service was still good! You have to be careful not to miss the window it's right next to a small coffee shop. There's a few chairs around to sit after or you can walk around and see the other shops around. Very small space but great ice cream! I will definitely need to go back and try other flavors!“
“So I stopped in to the shop . I drive by and was wondering about it. The ice cream is great! Even. Egan ice cream! Service is good. Place nice. But ocean is so expensive!!! Got a scoop and it was $7and change ridiculous! Might come back if a special occasion. But ice cream is good“
“I recently went here for a date night out and was blown away by the friendliness of everyone who worked there. Everyone was so helpful and kind. They gave us recommendations based on flavors they thought we would like and even got us to experiment with new flavors (the balsamic and strawberry). The ice cream was delicious and creamy and the customer service was out of this world! I will definitely be coming back!!! Sonny's has it right!!“
“I first came here because it was the closest ice cream shop to our Dentist office. My son had a lip tie release and the dent recommended a cold treat for him. Soooo glad we came! First time ever having Persian ice cream and now we make it a point to come any time we visit the dentist! My absolute favorite is the pistachio rose, I love the texture of the Fadooleh and my kids love the strawberry and the cookies and cream! They all taste so homemade. I love that you can take some to go and the young man working gave us excellent customer service. He was generous with samples and recommended getting 2 different flavors per cup. It was a great recommendation because we got to try more flavors! Can't wait to come back!“
“The character of Charlie Bucket in Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is not the only one who jumps with glee at the thought of touring a chocolate factory. Let's be honest: most people, of any age, would savor the chance to see how chocolate is made, breathe in the sweet scent of warm brown liquid chocolate and sample some of the delectable treats. Did you know that this fantasy is a reality here in our very own Los Angeles? That's right! We have a chocolate factory AND you can tour the facilities! LetterPress Chocolate is the baby of husband and wife team Cory and David. Cory and David had a passion for chocolate but also for graphic design (David) and the environment (Cory). The ingredients (pun!) were in place to get into the chocolate business and infuse it with individual niche skills and thus; LetterPress Chocolate was born in their APARTMENT where the lovely scent of chocolate delighted their neighbors but their landlord? Not so much and therefore they moved to a retail storefront. For the record, LetterPress Chocolate is a chocolate maker where they actually make chocolate versus a place like See's who is a chocolatier where they re-melt chocolate and add mix-ins to make bon bons, truffles, etc. This factory and retail space can be accessed on Roberston near Mid City and Culver City in an unsuspecting strip plaza where one would think it is an actual printing press behind the brick walls versus a chocolate heaven (parking is available in front with street meters). LetterPress of course sells their chocolate bars in the storefront but also offers tours (online booking, $20/person) and this is where the fun begins! There is so much to do in LA; but touring a chocolate factory is certainly a unique and extra-special treasure that you didn't even know existed! We were welcomed by the official tour guide Wesla (LetterPress is a three-person business! How impressive is that?!) and were lucky enough to have no other patrons booked for our tour slot so we instantly felt VIP. We were given masks and hairnets (tip: this is a fragrance-free tour so no perfume, ladies! Wear closed toe shoes, no stilettos, no fur, etc; and bring a jacket as it is chilly in the cooking area). The tour consists of three parts: 1) an i-Pad slide show describing the business and chocolate/cacao itself 2) tour of the facilities 3) chocolate sampling flight The first part of the tour may sound like school work to you but it is absolutely fascinating and Wesla is a great teacher. There is SO much to learn - and you actually retain it! - about cacao, chocolate beans, trees, pollinating trees (midge flys do the work! Look them up!), the farmers and countries involved, the cost of wholesale purchasing and shipping (you will never want to eat Hershey's again!) and so much more. Additionally, you will learn about LetterPress as a business, their fair trade and environmental initiatives, their actual chocolate and even about their labeling/marketing! It's all very enlightening and extraordinary! After the brain has grown some wrinkles from chocolate education; it is time for the tour. Granted the tour is small/short and more like a kitchen area than Willy Wonka's air hangar-sized compound but it is still super fun to see the process in action and what goes into making chocolate and chocolate bars. Finally, you return to the storefront and it is time for a tasting flight of chocolate! LetterPress sells dark, milk and white chocolate (although white is technically not chocolate) and even ice cream; but the tasting on my tour consisted of 8 dark chocolate samples. Similar to wine or coffee beans; the country of origin of the chocolate pods gives the beans different flavors, notes, etc. My samples hailed from Costa Rica, Tanzania, Ecuador, Venezuela, Sao Tome, Peru and Jamaica with flavor notes ranging from peppery, nutty, floral, fruity, mocha, caramel, berries, spicy, fudgy, peanut butter-y and even banana! Once you complete your flight, you can also ask for any of the samples behind the count“
“Amazingggg ice cream! My friend and I took a long walk and were passing Salt & Straw so of course we decided to treat ourselves. We were able to try a couple because there were many flavors that were very unique and interesting. I like that they give you a real spoon to try the ice cream - that's fancy. My friend got the pear and blue cheese - what a flavor. Very strange but good at the same time. I got a limited flavor, sorry don't remember what it was called. It had cereal in it and this type of berry. It was DELICIOUS!!! I could go for another scoop“
“SomiSomi Ice Cream Store is a five-star treat! With a cheerful ambiance and delicious soft serve options, it's a must-visit for ice cream lovers. Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, each spoonful is pure bliss. Don't miss out on their fish waffles and diverse toppings.“
“I came here recently on a weekend, and there was a small group of people waiting outside for their orders. It took about 20 minutes but so worth it. We got the beef and chicken curry omusibi. They are filling & well worth the price of $4.95 each. The seaweed is perfectly salted and slightly crispy and they didn't skimp on the meat which I appreciated.“
“The Ventura Blvd. location is small but it is packed with a store team that cares about the individual unique experience of each patron visiting their location. They are Super Friendly. Let me tell you right now that you will most likely stand in a small line outside the shop because once you're inside you will want to sample several amazing flavors of ice cream that will make your taste buds dance. Once you've picked your flavor/flavors, you will have a choice to have a cup or cone. I chose a large waffle cone and cup. The Peanut Butter Brittle Caramel Fudge was super delicious. We also had the Arbequina Olive Oil, it was equally as good. Thank you for the perfect dessert to cap off our date night! Yum! #SaltandStraw #LAEats #TastingTheValley“
“Too cute to handle! Not only from aesthetic to display and drink quality!Hidden gem coffee spot in Beverly Hills that offers boba, coffee, ice cream and sweet tooth!Loved the marshmallow Matcha! Definitely recommended and will be back!In & outdoor seating! (3 high tables, counters, 3-4 outdoor tables)Meter parking!“
“Goat Cheese and Black Olives ice cream was delicious. The service was exceptional and the customer service provided by EVERY SINGLE ONE of their ice cream parlor workers was outstanding. You wont go wrong visiting the Abbot Kinney location.“
“Grabbed a cup of gelato for dessert at Bacio di Latte. The place was busy on a Sunday night, with a good line but it went fairly quick. I tried the cookies and cream and the vanilla. The gelato was creamy and delicious. Only negative thing to say about my experience was that the AC was blasting at 8pm at night it felt like we we're in the back freezer. When we left, it was warmer outside than inside the gelato store.. Overall would stop by and grab a cup of gelato for dessert when in the area.“
“DELICIOUS gelato!! I’m traveling for work this week, and I always try to find a nearby gelato place. This one came up close to my hotel. I sampled quite a few flavors and already knew I was sold - ended up getting pistachio, hazelnut, and mint chip (my go-to). WOW - each tasted amazing and this is easily one of the best that I’ve been to. Best of all the portion size was very generous!!“
“I always come to drip n roll and do homework here. They have the most comfortable seats and their always so nice and never care how long we stay for homework. They make the best coffee and I come everyday from how much I crave it. I love this place and I hope you guys check it out!“
“If you like huge, sugary, buttery cookies like I do, then you must try this place. They have a couple staples from what I gathered and then make special limited addition flavors. I tried the vanilla cupcake and it was so delicious. They are so decadent, I will have to restrict myself to coming to this place once or twice a year, but if someone brings them to me more often then I won't refuse.“
“Best icecream df/gf. Kindest workers and the best owner. Always buy 3-6 pints to take home with me as I don't live in the area and it always goes so fast. The whole family loves it. They also re did their shop and it is so cute inside!! You also get points every-time you go...10 points = 6.75 off which is the best deal ever. Cannot recommend enough :)“
“Best local frozen yogurt and ice cream shop--always providing amazing customer service, tasty quality flavors and toppings (like their marshmallow sauce and 10/10 cookie dough), and endless customization options. The service is always speedy and friendly, employees will offer great recommendations. Located inside the Gelson's market, you can get your grocery shopping done while they keep your order chilled for you, and pick it up on the way out. Or you can stay in and get it delivered. The cake batter and chocolate flavors are my favorite but you can't go wrong with any of the ice cream or yogurt options. Highly recommend this spot!“
“Sometimes the cure for a bad day is good ice cream, and Rori's will provide it with a smile!!! I've been coming here for years and the ice cream is always so good! My favorite flavor is the malted milk ball which you will like if you enjoy Whoppers candy. It's perfectly creamy and chocolatey and just scrumptious. The cones themselves also are amazingly delicious...not every ice cream shop has good cones so this is a standout attribute of Rori's. The interior is cute, clean, and welcoming and the staff has always been very friendly. Special shoutout to the girl working today 2/27/24 at 1:30 because her kindness really improved my bad day and she was such a sweetie. I wish I got her name. My only complaint about Rori's is that they don't open until 1pm during the week. It would be nice if they opened a little earlier at let's say noon since I usually am done with my lunch break by the time they open. Come to Rori's if you want some yummy ice cream in Santa Monica! You will be very happy you did :)“
“Great burger ... really great. Sadly, it's overpriced for what you get. It's a thing I would only get if the line was non-existent. Standing in a long line for an overpriced burger is over-rated.The fries are spectacular. They are cooked in beef tallow...like McDonalds did back in the day.“
“These cookies are amazing and delicious! I got the biscoff cookie with Nutella, M&Ms, and powdered sugar. I don’t know how that cookie simultaneously put me back in my mother’s kitchen with freshly made cookies and also in a celestial paradise of mouth-watering deliciousness. And yet… it happened. It’s a must to visit and revisit.“
“The unique flavors of paletas this business creates made my Central American heart happy! Cas, guanabana, frutas en yogur, rompope con pasas there is no flavor where you can go wrong. A great variety of flavors as well as menu items. We didn't try anything other than the paletas but will surely be returning.“
“When I think of the concept of the Thing Being Greater Than The Sum Of Its Parts, I think of a classic slice from Magpie's. An instant family staple from the moment we tried it, years ago. You want a perfect LA afternoon? Check out the guitar shop next door and then jump straight into Little Treat Culture and get yourself a slice.“
“This was really, really good and very reasonably priced. Beware that a small is 2.5 scoops and just 1 flavor! They do have a 4 scoop sampler though. There were 6 of us and one of us got the sampler because he couldn't decide what to get. I had the taro single on a cake cone. It was delicious! We were all so excited to eat our ice cream that we forgot to take pictures. Sorry. Next time!“
“Great place to stop for dessert after your meal. Locally made ice creams with great flavors. Parking is sparse up front there is some street parking. There's a bathroom inside if you need it. I had some Thai ice cream that was really good I would go back. The ice cream people were super cool and very friendly!“
“Ice cream is creamy and good, have it after pizza!! When I went the staff let me try as much ice cream as I wanted since all the flavors sounded so good. It's nice inside with some seating and the outside store front also has a ledge you can sit at if it too busy inside.“
“Stumbled upon Paradis after having lunch at Crave and I am so glad we did! The whole family absolutely loved the ice cream! My wife loved the Banana Sundae, but the coffee chip was my absolute favorite.Super fun atmosphere with lots of games, we played jenga and the kids loved it!Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area!“
“I’ve enjoyed Diddy Riese cookies since I was a child and I’m in my fifties now. I live in Northern California but whenever I come back to LA I made a vow to visit and purchase these delicious cookies. It’s a tradition for me and my family. It’s a part of my life’s story. I appreciate Diddy Riese for their affordable prices and quality desserts that they have consistently delivered for over 35 years.“
“Easily some of the best ice cream that I have ever had. Salt & Straw is originally from Portland but was my go-to ice cream spot in San Diego before relocating to LA in Jan 2020. They have locations all over the state but are usually in newer malls and the nicer parts of town. This location is also new and designed well. It’s large on the inside so it can accommodate at least a dozen people in line, if not more. It’s part of The Culver Steps in Culver City where Erewhon is located. They have a giant multiple story parking garage beneath the ground floor so parking is super easy and plentiful. Service is also very fast, most people know what they want here, but occasionally you will have to deal with groups asking for many samples before deciding (prob the same ppl that stair at never changing fast food menus taking forever to decide).I am sad that they stopped offering the ice cream salt on top, because it really added to the flavor and was unique. I still am a fan though because the ice cream is just that good. It’s extra creamy so may not sit well in some people’s stomachs especially if you have a sensitive one, but the flavors will be hard to beat. I stopped in specifically to try their limited edition cereal flavors this weekend and had to couple that with my fav flavor The Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons.Overall some of the best ice cream that I have ever had and all of their locations are consistently good. I feel any ice cream fan that has tried S&S is crazy and is really missing out!Parking: 2 level underground parking structureKid-friendliness: kids love this place“
“Late post* two days ago was my first time trying this place. Absolutely amazing. Elpi was great ?? ? perfectly and patiently explained the flavors. His good vibe lighten the place. Definitely coming back soon! Loves the Gooey butter cake. Just perfect. With the home made waffles delicioso!“
“We love having this place here! Their waffle bowls and cones are made fresh and they are delicious. Our favorite flavors are coffee and butter cake. They don't have too many flavors but enough to make you contemplate what you want to get. The shop inside used to be cute but you can start seeing wear and tear over the years. Their AC must have broken because they have 2 standing units connected by a tube from their ceiling to blow air. Rent must be high in Calabasas so I hope they can survive with costs rising.“
“Amazing. Skip the overpriced stuff at other local haunts and grocers et al and go see Fernando who makes delicious juice right in front of your eyes, fresh as can be and so delicious. Lots of great menu items or buildYour own with your favorite fruits and veggies. ?“
“The vegan ice cream is great here. We enjoyed it very much. 24 flavors, many fruity, I would say the most interesting was pickle pear, which tastes literally like pitaya fruit! We loved the flavor apple pie so much! And we got also all 3 kinds of vegan chocolate flavors. Each was perfect. And they have also vegan cones. Nice service, nice atmosphere and area. Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Clearly labeled lactose, gluten, soy -free and other allergen free ice creams by symbols.“
“An extraordinary ice cream experience! If you love to travel, this creamery provides you access to inventive flavors from all over the world. Even if you don't love to travel, you can enjoy the scrumptious flavors in the comfort of your home.“
“If you are into Ice cream than Mashti Malone is the place for you. I went there for the traditional person Ice cream but they have successfully evolved in more mainstream flavors as well as created new interesting flavors like Herbal Snow which is a clever (and tasty) combination of herbs and chia seeds. They have seating available for patrons. They also have prepackaged tubs to go. Paid parking is available on the surrounding streets.Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian ice creamParking: Read all the posted signs there are lots of rules for parking on the surrounding streetsKid-friendliness: Kids love this placeWheelchair accessibility: This shop is wheelchair accessible“
“This place has the best menu. I had the banana, strawberry, and Nutella crepe yesterday and it was delicious. You can also customize them how you want, so I'm excited to try the other things. The smoothies sound delicious as well. My friend got an acai bowl and it also looked amazing.“
“Jeni's is absolutely deserving of 5 stars. Starting with the incredibly friendly guy who was cheerfully dishing up yummy flavored ice cream, with perfect consistency. Not bothered in the least with the indecisive children, while making some of the best tasting freshest cones I may have ever had. Hopefully mint chip will be an option next visit!!“
“During my recent visit to Crumbl Cookies, I was impressed by the delightful aroma that greeted me upon entering. The vibrant and inviting atmosphere immediately set a positive tone. The staff was friendly and eager to assist, making the ordering process smooth. As for the cookies, they were a true delight. The variety of flavors available was extensive, and each cookie looked like a work of art. I particularly enjoyed the warm Cornbread cookie, which was a perfect balance of sweetness. The cookies were generously sized and had a soft, chewy texture that was simply irresistible. What stood out was the innovative packaging – each cookie was individually wrapped, ensuring freshness. The presentation added an extra touch of sophistication to the whole experience. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality of the cookies justifies the cost. Overall, my visit to Crumbl Cookies was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a sweet tooth.“
“I used to come in here just for the brownies. They're a bit pricey, but they're large and thick, so it's worth it. Now, I come in for the ice cream. The "best bang for your buck" is 2 scoops, 4 flavors or 4 flavors, 2 scoops...you're basically getting 4 flavors for the price of 2 scoops. With 15% tip on the digital machine, my total was under 15 dollars. The people that work there are cool, the vibe is good, lots of cool yellow vintage style reclined chairs, even a wall with a map of CA showing where they source their ingredients (you can take a selfie with it), good music, both indoor and outdoor seating. SO MANY flavors...kind of like the famous ice cream chain, although I imagine these guys are A LOT fresher. I've never bothered to do DD delivery. DD Delivery: Roughly 17 dollar pints, each one is a single flavor. Ownership should really consider offering half pints at a lower price point. Also, they don't have brownies on their DD menu. Just walk in. Parking might be tricky. You can multitask...if you can't find parking, park at the Beverly Connection Budget Mall across the street...IN THE STRUCTURE, not outside. Then you can hit Ginger's Divine AND get in some value shopping at the mall.“
“So delicious.Creamy ice cream, like homemade old fashioned style.Vegan and dairy options.Fun Sunday toppings.Quite a bit more expensive than Baskin Robbins type place - $11 for a 2 scoop cup with whipped cream, fudge, crumbles. But it tastes good and they have unique flavors. Still, when I ordered the works Sunday I expected a waffle cone for that price.“
“Perfect for a beach day! The base is all Vanilla Gelato but the toppings are all so fun and different. The portion size is quite big so one can definitely be shared by two people! I felt that the gelato that comes in the chimney cake melts slower than the cup, but that might've been just our experience!“
“EVERY ice cream I've ever had from here has delivered! Seriously, there graham cracker ice cream packs more graham cracker punch than some graham cracker pie crusts I've had! How do they do that!?! My only "complaint" is the # of choices. It seriously takes me longer to decide what I'd like versus consuming whatever it is I end up with. I'd probably be better off if they had a hat I could pull a choice out of ? And please share, at least one order per two persons. The portions are ? ?“
“Mateo's is a great place to grab a sandwich. They offer a variety of options, and the prices are reasonable. The sandwiches are definitely one of the better deals you can get in the area. Whether you eat in or take away, you get a choice of smoothie, milkshake, juice, or fresh water juices to accompany your meal. The peppers are a standout ingredient that you won't find at many other sandwich places. The ice cream is also good, but there's more to Mateo's than just that. If you're looking for fresh fruit to go, there's a bunch of prepared sliced fruit ready to eat, including coconut, strawberries, and mango. I'll definitely be coming back!“
“Cute gelato shop on main street Segundo. Absolutely delicious gelato, have tried several flavors including pistachio (best pistachio I've had in my life), dulce de leche, amarena cherry and stracciatella. All the flavors are exquisite. They also have home cooked meals like eggplant parmigiana to go.“
“Stopped by some gelato and was blown away! The lady was so sweet and offered samples to try. I went with the strawberry and passion fruit to stay away from the dairy and it was so delicious and not too sweet. You can also get a mix in a small cup which I thought was awesome. You can’t really sit inside, but there is definitely seating outside!“
“Adorable tasty ice cream shop. Loved the ambiance here and the service was good. Grabbed ice cream after lunch as a sweet treat. Very yummy. The lines come and go, we waited it for it to go down before walking in. - Quick service - Clean - Ambiance - Tasty“
