“The Baseline: For a fast serve yogurt place, the frozen yogurt must be of good quality, the toppings must be varied and fresh, and the service must be efficient.
Food: Pinkberry as a chain has a good, consistent soft serve frozen yogurt. They have a good variety of flavors and the toppings are fresh and quality. The serving sizes are good and priced accordingly.
Service: The night we went we had great service and it was fast/efficient. The portion size served was really good.
Ambiance: This is a standard Pinkberry set up and the inside was clean and well kept. The outside area is well lit at night and felt to be a safe environment.“
“Cold Stone has always been a favorite, but you can really tell there’s a new owner bringing fresh energy to the place. The service was friendly, everything was clean and well organized, and my ice cream was made perfectly. The staff made the whole experience feel welcoming and upbeat. Really excited to see the positive changes happening here, definitely worth stopping by and supporting the new ownership!“

“I came across Playa Provisions when in town for business. It was a short Uber from the airport, so I figured I'd give it a try. This place is an absolute gem! It is a unique setup that has everything you'd possibly need from morning until late at night: Cafe in the front for coffee and fresh baked good, as well as full breakfast menu. Later in the heat of the afternoon, take a break from the beach (right across the street) and enjoy hand scooped specialty ice cream cones and shakes. Oh look, it's dinner time... and Playa Provisions opens their dining room and bar, some of the best, most relaxed ambience you'll find for miles around. But don't let the casual setting fool you, this is some incredible, elevated cuisine. Chef owners Nick and Brooke (who you might recognize) crafted a menu that's I've been eating my way through, and have yet to find a dish that's not delicious. You've been eating and drinking all day, and are exhausted? Don't leave yet! Wander into the back 'secret' whiskey bar, (Grain Whiskey Bar) and enjoy hand crafted cocktails from award winning bartenders (no, literally), in a gorgeous wood laden atmosphere. I consider myself a foodie, and try as many different restaurants and cuisines as I can. And yet, Playa Provisions remains my favorite restaurant in LA (and that's saying something, considering the amazing places in LA). Run, don't walk, to Playa Provisions. You'll thank me.“

“Easily some of the best ice cream you will ever have! Handel's makes their ice cream fresh daily, and you can absolutely taste the difference—it is incredibly rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Their menu is massive, so there’s always something new to try, but you can’t go wrong with the classics or their seasonal specials. The portions are very generous for the price, and the service is always fast and friendly. It’s an absolute must-visit every single time I’m craving something sweet!“

“I came to this spot by accident, yes you heard me. I was looking for another ice cream shop and ran across this one. I purchased a double scoop to go. I scoop of vanilla and and one scoop of praline pecan ice cream in a cup survive the ride home. Once inside the house, that ice cream didn't stand a chance. It didn't have that frost bitten taste that you experience from store bought ice cream. I will try again and I recommend going there.“

“We had the good fortune of stumbling across Moom Maam gelato when deciding on someone to cater our company's summer event. The flavors were delicious and many were options that you really can't find anywhere else. Their homemade waffle crisp was a surprise hit as well (and gluten free!), and with several vegan options, they were a caterer that truly could have a little something for people regardless of diet restrictions. And despite the whopping number of flavors they brought (15!!) the lines moved along at a good clip--managing to serve hundreds within 2 hours--and the portions were generous.“

“This is MY FAVORITE plant based ice cream in Los Angeles! Not only are they healthy, but super delicious and creamy. Normally when you get plant based ice creams in other places they are not as creamy and not using premium ingredients like they do. “I love this little cafe. They're great in a heat wave since they serve a variety of popsicles and ice creams.
Personally I like their muffins and iced caco lattes. It's about $9 for a muffin and a latte.
The staff is pretty friendly too.

“Super unique ice cream shop. Very nice to frequent specifically in the summer but honestly I e had it while it’s raining and it’s just as amazing. 10/10 don’t want to recommend because lines will get longer when I go, but I’ll wait. Do frequent. Especially if you’ve never had it. You’ll be hooked.“
