“So goooooddddd. But the passion fruit was a bit too sweet which I didn't notice when I tried a sample. But when I got it as one of my scoops I said whooaah lol but very good flavor. Very small but cute. Great customer service the young lady was very patient with me and my two friends.“
“We are from Orange County and our most favorite server, Ash, now works here. Her service and attention to detail is always next level and this restaurant is amazing. She recommended the The muscles and clams - hands down scrumptious! We sat outside by the fire! We are so happy she is now at such a great establishment. Love the ambiance and of course the service is TOP NOTCH! Smart people hired this girl!“
“A bit too small of space but it’s also a positive. The ice cream I had was yummmmy! One scoop is a nice size if your into just having one.. it’s filling. Fresh tasting flavor I have never had before. The cookie and toffee/ caramel was great mix. It’s a spot where you have to try it to taste the flavor.“
“Fluffys Sno-balls is a must try! I was greeted in the most welcoming way and introduced to the best flavors! All I had to say was the flavors I loved the most; Pineapple, coconut and Mango ? I was asked if I liked Tajin and chamoy and BAMN the best flavored sno-ball was made. You can taste all 3 flavors and the ice was so soft ( not crunchy ) the texture was perfect. Definitely a spot to go to now that summer is coming up!Kid-friendliness: Variety of flavors, kids will be able to taste the different flavors too!“
“My favorite taco place. Please blow this place up so it can survive!!! It’s in a slightly difficult place due to the traffic at that intersection but the food is sooooooo good and the workers are all so friendly. Cute space inside and out. Get your tacos/burrito gogo “
“Found out about this spot recently on I.G & went for my first time today. Ben was welcoming & had me sample all his ice cream / sorbet creations! I was sold on Ube & Green tea, but all the flavors were on point. Will be back to try them all ?“
“Closed on Sundays, go to the website to find out that day's flavors. They change every week. There is NO free tasting. There was some mention of trying the flavors so i thought there was. But i asked at this last visit and No there isn't a tasting available. The cookies are BIG and heavy in weight, they have a real buttery undertone. The milk chocolate chip cookie is my favorite. The chocolate chips are decadent. They are crispy and gooey. I toast them for a crispier cookie but it IS a great cookie. The brownie cookie is also great. There are many more flavors but haven't found any other flavor YET that i love as much as these two. The workers are nice, helpful, your order prompt. I would give those cookies an A- but that's because I prefer a crispier cookie. The flavor is there, i'd definitely return and have been there numerous times“
“So I stopped in to the shop . I drive by and was wondering about it. The ice cream is great! Even. Egan ice cream! Service is good. Place nice. But ocean is so expensive!!! Got a scoop and it was $7and change ridiculous! Might come back if a special occasion. But ice cream is good“
“The gelato is expensive but really good. I tried a few before landing on pistachio and hazelnut. Got it in the house made vegan waffle cone which was tasty. $10 for a single scoop 2 flavors in waffle cone for reference. Really good natural flavors, worth a stop. The lady serving was very friendly too“
“This place has some seriously legit ice cream. It has the texture of soft serve but all the punch of real top notch ice cream. It's smooth, creamy, and very flavorful. I absolute loved the Rice Krispie and fruity pebbles cones--they add the perfect extra punch and crunch to the ice cream. The store is quite small, but the line moves quickly and there is some seating outside. You can get a regular cone, a cup, or a Rice Krispie, fruity pebbles, or cocoa pebbles cone. They also serve a caramelized waffle you can use to scoop your ice cream if you like. Overall I really, really enjoyed this spot. It's some of the best ice cream I've had in a long time. Definitely recommend this while in Los Angeles--it's even worth a drive across the city.“
“I came here for the first time to use the gift card that my son got from a friend. I knew this place had a great review since people were talking about the place. Came here around 6pm and the line was long. Amazed by the size of their one scoop in a cup!!! It's probably triple size bigger than the Baskin Robbin's single scoop cup. I totally forgot to take the ice cream photos because it was so yummy. Definitely a place to check it out if you're the ice cream person!“
“Omg this place is super cute and it's on Fairfax right in the midst of all the great shops! I love the inside decor- simple, clean, and colorful! Very nice wall art! And the ice cream flavors! Wow! I ordered the Brown Sugar Cookie Dough and it packs a good sweet punch! Tasty and just the right amount of sugar and cookie doughs! Love it!!! Shout out to Emily who helped me out! Can't wait to try out another flavor! Will be back!“
“Thankfully, this coffee shop location still accepts cash. The clowns in Marina del Rey do not. They should know better, but instead they choose convenience and sell us out to a potential social credit score system, leveraged by money and judgment placed upon your spending. Judgment from unelected individuals.Honor and show preference for businesses that accept cash. Avoid the ones that do not.Use it or lose it. That applies to sovereignty as well as cash.“
“I first came here because it was the closest ice cream shop to our Dentist office. My son had a lip tie release and the dent recommended a cold treat for him. Soooo glad we came! First time ever having Persian ice cream and now we make it a point to come any time we visit the dentist! My absolute favorite is the pistachio rose, I love the texture of the Fadooleh and my kids love the strawberry and the cookies and cream! They all taste so homemade. I love that you can take some to go and the young man working gave us excellent customer service. He was generous with samples and recommended getting 2 different flavors per cup. It was a great recommendation because we got to try more flavors! Can't wait to come back!“
“The character of Charlie Bucket in Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" is not the only one who jumps with glee at the thought of touring a chocolate factory. Let's be honest: most people, of any age, would savor the chance to see how chocolate is made, breathe in the sweet scent of warm brown liquid chocolate and sample some of the delectable treats. Did you know that this fantasy is a reality here in our very own Los Angeles? That's right! We have a chocolate factory AND you can tour the facilities! LetterPress Chocolate is the baby of husband and wife team Cory and David. Cory and David had a passion for chocolate but also for graphic design (David) and the environment (Cory). The ingredients (pun!) were in place to get into the chocolate business and infuse it with individual niche skills and thus; LetterPress Chocolate was born in their APARTMENT where the lovely scent of chocolate delighted their neighbors but their landlord? Not so much and therefore they moved to a retail storefront. For the record, LetterPress Chocolate is a chocolate maker where they actually make chocolate versus a place like See's who is a chocolatier where they re-melt chocolate and add mix-ins to make bon bons, truffles, etc. This factory and retail space can be accessed on Roberston near Mid City and Culver City in an unsuspecting strip plaza where one would think it is an actual printing press behind the brick walls versus a chocolate heaven (parking is available in front with street meters). LetterPress of course sells their chocolate bars in the storefront but also offers tours (online booking, $20/person) and this is where the fun begins! There is so much to do in LA; but touring a chocolate factory is certainly a unique and extra-special treasure that you didn't even know existed! We were welcomed by the official tour guide Wesla (LetterPress is a three-person business! How impressive is that?!) and were lucky enough to have no other patrons booked for our tour slot so we instantly felt VIP. We were given masks and hairnets (tip: this is a fragrance-free tour so no perfume, ladies! Wear closed toe shoes, no stilettos, no fur, etc; and bring a jacket as it is chilly in the cooking area). The tour consists of three parts: 1) an i-Pad slide show describing the business and chocolate/cacao itself 2) tour of the facilities 3) chocolate sampling flight The first part of the tour may sound like school work to you but it is absolutely fascinating and Wesla is a great teacher. There is SO much to learn - and you actually retain it! - about cacao, chocolate beans, trees, pollinating trees (midge flys do the work! Look them up!), the farmers and countries involved, the cost of wholesale purchasing and shipping (you will never want to eat Hershey's again!) and so much more. Additionally, you will learn about LetterPress as a business, their fair trade and environmental initiatives, their actual chocolate and even about their labeling/marketing! It's all very enlightening and extraordinary! After the brain has grown some wrinkles from chocolate education; it is time for the tour. Granted the tour is small/short and more like a kitchen area than Willy Wonka's air hangar-sized compound but it is still super fun to see the process in action and what goes into making chocolate and chocolate bars. Finally, you return to the storefront and it is time for a tasting flight of chocolate! LetterPress sells dark, milk and white chocolate (although white is technically not chocolate) and even ice cream; but the tasting on my tour consisted of 8 dark chocolate samples. Similar to wine or coffee beans; the country of origin of the chocolate pods gives the beans different flavors, notes, etc. My samples hailed from Costa Rica, Tanzania, Ecuador, Venezuela, Sao Tome, Peru and Jamaica with flavor notes ranging from peppery, nutty, floral, fruity, mocha, caramel, berries, spicy, fudgy, peanut butter-y and even banana! Once you complete your flight, you can also ask for any of the samples behind the count“
“Marsha came through with an exceptional cake for my husband’s surprise 60th birthday. She designed the cake exactly the way I wanted it. We had a 3 tier cake, each being a different flavor and our guests wanted to try all 3. Needless to say, this cake was a hit! Marsha’s Sweet Cakes will be my only choice for custom cakes in the future!“
“A gem in Little Tokyo! One of my favorite places for matcha, and my top pick is the soft serve ?? The owners' attention is very friendly. The entire staff is attentive and always greets you with a smile. The space is quite small, and every time I've visited, it's always crowded. If you want to try something authentic, warm, and delicious, I recommend this place. ✨“
“SomiSomi Ice Cream Store is a five-star treat! With a cheerful ambiance and delicious soft serve options, it's a must-visit for ice cream lovers. Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, each spoonful is pure bliss. Don't miss out on their fish waffles and diverse toppings.“
“I came here recently on a weekend, and there was a small group of people waiting outside for their orders. It took about 20 minutes but so worth it. We got the beef and chicken curry omusibi. They are filling & well worth the price of $4.95 each. The seaweed is perfectly salted and slightly crispy and they didn't skimp on the meat which I appreciated.“
“Too cute to handle! Not only from aesthetic to display and drink quality!Hidden gem coffee spot in Beverly Hills that offers boba, coffee, ice cream and sweet tooth!Loved the marshmallow Matcha! Definitely recommended and will be back!In & outdoor seating! (3 high tables, counters, 3-4 outdoor tables)Meter parking!“
“I visited this establishment when they first opened many years ago and recently decided to return with my kids. The ice cream is still fantastic, with top-notch quality and a perfect balance of sweetness. While the seating area is limited, the ambiance is cool. The service is exceptional, with super friendly staff. You’ll love this place“
“Grabbed a cup of gelato for dessert at Bacio di Latte. The place was busy on a Sunday night, with a good line but it went fairly quick. I tried the cookies and cream and the vanilla. The gelato was creamy and delicious. Only negative thing to say about my experience was that the AC was blasting at 8pm at night it felt like we we're in the back freezer. When we left, it was warmer outside than inside the gelato store.. Overall would stop by and grab a cup of gelato for dessert when in the area.“
“Delicious cookies. The weekly rotation has you waiting for the next "drop". The servers are always receptive and pleasant. The shops are bare basic and strictly business. Clean, neat and the displays are helpful. I get every cookie that isn't chocolate, and I'm never disappointed. Only con, the price point is a little high.“
“I just left Yo-Way Eatery about 30 minutes ago. Yo-Way did it again!!! My sandwich was huge and delicious. I'd like to go on and on but I would just be repeating what I said in my last review. The consistency of the deliciousness of their sandwiches ensures I'll be back next month. Thanks for a great meal. PS there's a really popular sandwich place in LA that has a reputation of being one of the best sandwich shops. Yo-way, you are second to none!!!“
“Really interesting Korean shaved ice. The ice is shaved so finely with milk that it nearly tastes like ice cream unlike a similar Taiwanese shaved ice. Tried the Injeolmi (인절미) flavor which is a Korean rice cake flavor made from glutinous rice flour and finely ground roasted soybean flour. Yum.Service was a little slow, but they also were packed with a line. The atmosphere was pretty lively.“
“I got a coffee shake and my son got an Oreo sundae. Both were excellent. Service was outstanding as right when we walked in both young ladies got up right away and started on our order immediately. And that was at 10:30 pm a Wednesday night.“
“I love how they put black bean in the sandwiches and they also have couple of protein options the. Ice creams do taste like real fruit and I am so happy to feed my kids once in a while so they too try other fruit in a different form than at home. Is always crowed and I find it so con. Eminent always to just call and place my order for pick up. I'll be sharing picks once I get my food and ice cream because I am waiting in my cars for it to be ready“
“I love Bacio! The ambiance is spectacular in all of their shops. The gelato is probably the best gelato I've ever tried and I think it's because they use really good ingredients and the quality control is spot on. The service is always amazing and you can tell all of the employees really love working their because they are very warm and genuine. I can't wait for them to open more locations!!!“
“DELICIOUS gelato!! I’m traveling for work this week, and I always try to find a nearby gelato place. This one came up close to my hotel. I sampled quite a few flavors and already knew I was sold - ended up getting pistachio, hazelnut, and mint chip (my go-to). WOW - each tasted amazing and this is easily one of the best that I’ve been to. Best of all the portion size was very generous!!“
“31 ain't got no flavor on Ken's. The ice cream here doesn't taste like ice milk. With a variety of flavors to choose from, along with multiple toppings, you will absolutely enjoy. The staff is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely a hidden gem you must expirence. ? ✨️“
“Ah yes some of the best ice cream in la! Tons of awesome rotating flavors you can even try before you buy. They had a bunch of cereal specials when I went I loved the lucky charms one! Also the resees puff one is so delicious! Will be coming back.“
“This place is a South Bay gem! The coffee is the best I have found in our area, the owner/staff are super friendly, and the food is fresh & delicious. In the morning, it's packed but service is still efficient. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a latte and a crostini!“
“Ordered the lucky charms inspired ice cream and it was so good. I'm a big fan of the cereal especially the marshmallows and this ice cream flavor hit the spot. Small seating area inside with a few tables but walking distance to enjoy on the pier. Service is average.“
“It’s been years since i last stopped by before I moved to Chicago. Can’t leave without having my boba. I grew up in the K-Town District. You don’t always have a chance to come back home to visit.Kid-friendliness: You can get your kid ice cream, Oreo boba.“
“Honeymee is sooo good, even for the hefty price it's worth it.I consider $8 for a cup (125ml?) Of ice cream to be hefty because you could get half a pint of high quality gelato for that much. But again, I think it's worth it!The only thing that is a hassle about this location is the parking. It's impossible to just "swing by" to grab Honeymee , expect to pay $5 - $20 for parking. Conclusion, don't drive all the way to this location just for Honeymee. Hope they offer curbside pickup or parking validation in the future.Parking: Terrible parking situation, it's inside a plaza that has no free parking.“
“Nice little spot for those who want that homemade "Ice Cream Truck/Thrifty" sensation. The young man who takes the orders is polite and very efficient. Some friends of mine talked me into giving the location a try. You have so much to choose from. I guess that why the menu can now be pulled up by QR Code. I purchased two 8oz size of chili. A kid size of praline and pecan ice cream and a size bigger of pistachio for the hubby. When I received the bag with the cups of ice cream, they seem a bit small. My pralines was more like a tease due to the kid size. When it said "kid size" that's exactly what it means. The ice cream was good so my advice, go with a pint. The chilli was okay. It taste more like that brick chilli. Very salty and not all that thick. The menu states that crackers for the chili are ten cents each but I figure that must be the fee for extra because they are generous enough to put some in your bag to go along with the chilli. My advice, get it along with some rice to help dilute the saltiness of the chilli. Would I go back? Yes if I wasn't trying to watch my health. If I wasn't as old as I am. Would it hit the spot for a younger crowd? Yes!!! It would!!!“
“Definitely one of the better ice cream joints in the South Bay. Nice people very friendly and cool quaint spot for a nice relaxing and chill time. The sweetie is my favorite as well as the honey comb with ice cream too. I also really like their apple with popping Boba drink very refreshing.Parking: Easy parking but make sure you go at the right time bc that location can get packedKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“
“Great burger ... really great. Sadly, it's overpriced for what you get. It's a thing I would only get if the line was non-existent. Standing in a long line for an overpriced burger is over-rated.The fries are spectacular. They are cooked in beef tallow...like McDonalds did back in the day.“
“I heard about Jugos Naturales through word of mouth. I decided to pay the establishment a visit. When I entered the restaurant it reminded me about the mom n pop shops aesthetic found in Mexico. Very vibrant colors and many pictures of the food they sell. The two ladies working the establishment were very kind and did not rush us when we looked over the menu. We diced to order a torta that did not disappint, an esquite with Hot Cheeto crumbs that was something new for me but definitely not a regret, a licuado de platano which was delicious, and a bionico that was extremely generous in serving. The food overall was delicious. I'd also like to add that the serving sizes are generous and their food is made to order. Will I be returning? No doubt. Thanks Jugos Naturales!“
“These cookies are amazing and delicious! I got the biscoff cookie with Nutella, M&Ms, and powdered sugar. I don’t know how that cookie simultaneously put me back in my mother’s kitchen with freshly made cookies and also in a celestial paradise of mouth-watering deliciousness. And yet… it happened. It’s a must to visit and revisit.“
“This is my go-to ice scream spot. I would recommend this place to anyone! It's cute for a date ( the banana split is amazing). All the flavors are true to what they're suppose to taste like. The decor is just as memorable as the ice cream.“
“The unique flavors of paletas this business creates made my Central American heart happy! Cas, guanabana, frutas en yogur, rompope con pasas there is no flavor where you can go wrong. A great variety of flavors as well as menu items. We didn't try anything other than the paletas but will surely be returning.“
“Just a lil ice cream shop in Larchmont village with some unique flavors to choose from- not the classic ones you'd see somewhere common like at Thrifty or Cold Stone. I tried the gooey butter cake and coffee with cream and sugar and it was SOOOO GOOD! Personally it is a bit TOO SWEET, however the flavors were definitely appetizing. I would come back! Just wish it'd be less sweeter (and I have MAJOR sweet tooth).“
“Great prices and options for juice, popsicles, smoothies, and more! I enjoyed their mangeonada. I am vegan and found so many great options for me. So glad it’s in the neighborhood.Dietary restrictions: Many juices, smoothies, and paletas are vegan by default. Can ask if you have any questions about items.“
“My visit to 88 Hotdog was an unexpectedly delightful culinary adventure, especially for someone with a penchant for creatively crafted fast food. Nestled in a bustling, crowded area where parking can be a bit of a treasure hunt, this gem stands out for its unique offerings and commendable service.Starting with the mozzarella corn dog, it was a standout in both size and flavor, offering great value for its price. The corn dog was perfectly crispy on the outside, with a gooey, stretchy mozzarella center that was both satisfying and indulgent. It’s the kind of treat that brings a smile to your face with each bite, blending the nostalgic essence of a classic corn dog with a cheesy twist that elevates it to a whole new level. The adventure didn't stop there; the yogurt drinks were a revelation in their own right. I indulged in a variety of flavors - peach, mango, blueberry, and pineapple - each one more refreshing and flavorful than the last. These drinks had a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, with the fruit flavors shining through beautifully. They were not just good; they were exceptional, adding a refreshing contrast to the savory richness of the corn dog.The service at 88 Hotdog deserves a special mention. Despite the crowded location, the employee was friendly, efficient, and quick to serve, making the overall experience even more pleasant. It's always a breath of fresh air to encounter service that is both warm and competent, especially in fast-paced environments. While the parking situation and crowded surroundings might deter some, the culinary delights and the cheerful service at 88 Hotdog make it well worth the effort. It's a small price to pay for the joy of biting into a delicious mozzarella corn dog and sipping on exquisitely flavored yogurt drinks. For anyone in the area or those willing to brave the parking challenge, 88 Hotdog is a must-visit spot that promises a satisfying and tasty experience.“
“Anytime I visit LA Somi Somi is on the top of my list of places to go! The taiyaki waffle cone is made fresh and you get your choice of filling such as red bean, Nutella, or even cheddar! I always go for a Nutella filling which always pairs well with all of the flavored soft serve offerings. Once you pick your filling and soft serve you get to add some tasty toppings and your choice of a fresh cut strawberry or a mini macaroon. Somisomi is sure to please and I highly recommend you visit anytime you're in the Los Angeles area.“
“This is the Little Tokyo outlet of Somi Somi dessert chain. This chain is quite popular since it is not your typical ice cream parlor. They serve soft serve ice cream with various milk flavors. They also serve ice cream with tai yaki cakes on top. It is Japanese milk and tai yaki themed desserts which is different than traditional ice cream shops. Since this is located across from Little Tokyo shopping mall there is no free parking.“
“We needed ice cream post a nearby late-night pizza slice. We needed it to be near the metro station. And we needed it to be open! Little Damage fulfilled all three of these requirements one mid-week evening after a nearby event in DTLA.The atmosphere is cool...gothy decorations and vibe with a few creative flavors on hand. Everything comes with a free topping. (at least the small size we ordered did.)One of us got Pink Vanilla, and the other Black Horchata. Only 2 other flavors were available (a vegan chocolate and an oreo based one Kiki and Cream). So there really wasn't a lot to choose from. Also It's a couple weeks after we were there and, although it says flavors rotate, it's the same menu up on their Instagram...so I'm not sure how often they do rotate...with only 4 flavors total, it seems like they might want to rotate more, or offer more flavors...honestly none of the offered flavors were all that exciting...but we were there so tried a couple. It's soft-serve ice cream so it has that froyo vibe to it. Both flavors were fine. I mean you can't really go wrong with ice cream, sort of like with pizza. I'm not sure I would write home about either the Black Horchata or the Pink vanilla as the flavors in both were pretty mild. But was a good enough sweet treat that checked off the boxes for what we needed.“
“And what can we say about La Michoacana, the best popsicles in the Nieves area, everything you like there, as if you were at the ranch on Sundays to buy your snowball, your popsicle, your chips, Doritos, cueritos, all of that can be found here in that place.“
