“Barrique offers an intimate dining experience with a mix of hits and misses on the menu. The 18-month aged prosciutto and burrata appetizer delighted with its flavors, while the octopus fell short in texture. The standout dish was undeniably the beet pasta, an absolute gem that left a lasting impression. However, the ribeye main dish, though good, suffered from an abundance of fatty pieces, detracting slightly from its overall appeal. The dessert, a Panna cotta with a cherry tart topping, was a delightful conclusion to the meal, showcasing a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess that left me thoroughly satisfied. The ambiance of Barrique is pleasant, and the service is attentive without being overbearing. While not every dish hit the mark, the standout offerings make it worth a visit for those seeking inventive Italian cuisine in Venice. Overall, Barrique provides a solid dining experience that still warrants a recommendation“
“We popped into this gem to have a spot of lunch. We instantly fell in love with the atmosphere. We ordered the Teriyaki Burger (which was SO DELICIOUS!) and the Fried Chicken sandwich (perfectly juicy and tender with delicious dressing), and Hawaiian Fries. We had the frozen Maui Wowis, which were refreshing and sweet! If you’re looking for a cool place to eat delicious food, LOOK NO FURTHER. Here it is!“
“I brought my coworkers here a few weeks ago for a company team lunch and everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the food! The portions were large and plentiful, so much so that we were super full and still had leftovers to take home. My favorite dish was the kale salad, which was surprisingly flavorful. The pizzas were also great!I contacted OSPI ahead of time to make a large party reservation, opting for the lunch time prix fixe menu. The whole process was super smooth, and they were very helpful in helping me choose appropriate dishes based on the dietary restrictions of our group (we had vegetarians and gluten free people, both of whom were accomodated). My only critique is that the food took quite a while to come out at the start. I expected it to be out sooner since we had a reservation and had ordered a fixed menu, but after being seated, we still had to wait a decent amount, so we were quite hungry. After that, the pacing of the meals could've been slightly faster, but it's understandable because of the large party servings. Otherwise, service was great.Unfortunately I was too distracted eating to take pictures! The food was delicious!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“From start to finish Teddy’s was a 10/10. I got the deluxe plate and was not disappointed in the least. Everything was made to perfection and the consume was wonderful. The salsa had the perfect kick to it and you can’t beat the staff and ambience. I unfortunately am only visiting the area so I’ll just have to dream about eating their tacos on repeat.“
“Wurstkuche offers a selection of meats and there's also vegetarian options as well. I tried the vegan meat and it was pretty good! Loved the sauces and toppings that they offer and their fries are delicious and thick. I also ordered a belgian beer called Fruli and it tastes like straight strawberry juice--right up my alley! There's plenty of seating and it has a chill vibe to it.“
“We love this restaurant. We went several times but recently we asked to reserve for our family (4) and the staff refused the reservation as “this is not what we want for the restaurant”. So I would not recommend for family. Apart from this very poor comment, we have had excellent service every time we went there.“
“We really enjoy Superba! The double cheeseburger, cheesy egg toast, and omelet with Boursin are all super tasty. My husband also loves the chicken sandwich. This is a great spot to meet up with friends on a weekend and their coffee is delicious, too!“
“The Italian sandwiches were fresh, the bread was fresh out of the oven and still hot, excellent taste, nice ambiance, line was very long but worth the wait. Staff was efficient and the line moved along quickly. Service was good once you got to the front. Staff was friendly yet professional. And did made to order sandwiches. The best sandwiches!“
“I’ve been coming to the Win~Dow for years and it used to be my weekend trek to get a great lunch. Every time I return it seems more popular, but no less delicious and high quality. Since I can never choose between the burger and chicken sandwich, I pig out and get both. This time I came with my cousins as well, where I got to try the kale salad and that was fire as well. The staff behind the scenes are always nice and helpful. This spot is just solid all the way around. ? ?Vegetarian options: They do have a veggie burger and a killer kale salad“
“Talk about your happy medium! Venice is full of the fancy and the pretentious and the chains and divey street vendors but here is an unassuming place where you can get a good beer tasty glass of wine and some fine food for some of the best prices anywhere west of the 405. Actually decent alfresco seating on the north side on a neighborhood side street off of Lincoln. Get a sandwich and a fry and have a beer and don't put a hole in your pocket. Order at the counter and they bring it out. Casual fast friendly and good unassuming food. Love this place“
“Had the fundido and it was amazing. Loved the broccoli on top and the blue corn chips were perfectly salted. Taquitos were delicious. The chickpeas were so creamy and the flavor was spectacular Banana cream pie was so good. Crunchy and smooth at the same time.“
“Love this taco stand. I take all my friends here. The food is delicious and the staff is delightful. The Al pastor is my favorite!Parking: Plenty of parking on the street and there's a Ralph's/Rite Aid parking lot you could use as well.“
“While strolling down the street, my partner and I stumbled upon a picturesque green oasis, adorned with lush trees and verdant bushes. The exquisite design captivated us, prompting a spontaneous decision to pause and indulge in a delightful lunch. Every dish we savored was a culinary delight, complemented by a cozy and enchanting atmosphere that enhanced our dining experience.“
“We've been coming here since Fabios opened a few years ago. As much as I love the food in LA, good Italian food is not one of the things we're usually known for or easy to find. It's mainly Italian American food that you'll find at most restaurants and the authentic spots are usually mediocre at best. That's why it was such a pleasant surprise to find Fabio's on the Venice boardwalk of all places. The only times we go to the boardwalk these days is specifically to eat here. It's well worth the trip. Simple handmade pasta and sauces that will bring you right back to memories of your favorite little pasta shop on your last trip to Italy! The owner Fabio is very hands on and passionate about his food and you can taste it in every dish he makes. Simple fresh ingredients treated with love and respect. Forget the trendy hot spots like Eataly, Pasta Sisters, or Osteria Mozza, Fabio's is quite honestly the best real deal authentic handmade Italian pasta that you'll get in Los Angeles. Some reviews complained about the wait time. Well, it's handmade, made to order, super fresh pasta. If you're looking for quickie fast food italian, go to olive garden or pizza hut instead. If you're looking for truly authentic fresh pasta and sauces, then this is well worth the wait. Every dish there is handmade, including the bread and desserts. While we've definitely taken orders to go as well, this is the kind of spot where you want to sit down and eat it freshly made in order to truly enjoy it. First time? Try the pappardelle with italian sausage or the beef raviolis! Everything is good though.“
“Antonio is the absolute best. We have not experienced hospitality like this in a long time. We had an incredible pizza, Caesar salad and gelato for dessert. All delicious!!! The courtyard is charming and there is such nice music playing while the ocean breeze hits ya. 10/10 must go here!“
“I think the key to dining at Forma is to understand that everything you order should be shared with everyone at your table. You can't come here and get a pizza or a bowl of pasta or a cheese tray and eat it alone; that's just weird. You have to come with a group of friends, split a few entres, share a bottle of wine and chat and enjoy your dinner. There are like steaks and burgers and chicken sandwiches and stuff on the menu as well, and yeah you kinda can't those. These items are fine if you're stopping in for lunch by yourself or something, but I advise to skip these if you're on a date or with a group of people and just get a bunch of shareables. Pro tip: pasta dishes are smaller portions here now than they were about a year ago, but they're also cheaper than they were, so you get to order more and try more! Wait staff is amazing btw; they treat each table very well and I've never had a problem here.“
“So, my friend chose this restaurant because she's vegan. I am not. It was an hour from my home and I arrived starving. I was greeted nicely by the host and he was very patient with me while I flip flopped about whether to sit inside or out. Decided to eat in. Waited ten minutes, still no friend. I look at her message again. The lunch was the following week! Arghh! My lovely server, Graciela, walked me through the foreign menu and we landed on nachos. They were delicious. It's street parking, which I hate, but overall it's a nice place. But I wouldn't drive an hour for it.“
“Tocaya is so cute inside and out and the food is great. It is modern Mexican and a lot of it is super healthy, but don't let that stop you, it is also fantastic. The service is nice and friendly. They are there for you and they get your order right. The place is always so clean. You can have it delivered or do take away or dine in. We like to to dine in. It is just a very relaxing place. Our favorite thing at Tocays is their bowls. I love the taco salad, which is gluten free and has achiote chicken, kale & romaine, avocado, grilled corn, roma tomatoes, black beans, cabbage, red onions, tajin tortilla strips, cilantro, queso oaxaca and a wonderful roasted poblano dressing. Their kale and quinoa bowl is also super yummy with adobo tofu, organic baby kale (lots of it), quinoa salad, garbanzo beans, lime pepita seeds, lima beans, pico de gallo, sliced avocado (add more please), vegan chipotle jack & red wine vinaigrette. Their tacos and chips are also great. We like their salmon taco with charred tomatillo rice, lime crema, serrano frita salsa, and cilantro. Now the tacos are pretty small so you will want a few. Also try the tinga taco with chicken tinga, crispy fried onions, and lime pepita mole. This one is spicy so if you are not a fan of spice order something else. They also have super burritos. We just love this place.“
“I wish there was more seating, that said… the food was SO GOOD! This was one of the tastiest meals we had. It was breakfast on our way to roam around Venice and it was really good. I highly recommend it but know you will likely be eating in your car, if you don’t mind that you will love it.“
“Ok… this place is fantastic!Everything was truly wonderful.Burrata and caviar with truffle, grilled octopus salad, delicious branzino, and sizzling ribeye with creamy mashers and jumbo asparagus. Food was EPIC! Hats off to the chefs! But also must mention the warm and sincere staff. Jerry, Ramses, Elliott, were all great! Henri the MOD and operations manager should be very proud! And our server Skyler and her support staff Helardio and food runner (didn’t get his name) really made our evening. The entire staff is really what sets a good restaurant above an average restaurant.Summed up in one word. Synergy! This place has it and you should go there now to see it for yourself! Rock on Paloma!“
“If I could give this place a million stars I would! The gentlemen who I assume own and work there are just the most incredibly sweet and smiley guys, it always brightens my day when I’m in the neighborhood and can stop by. On top of just always impeccable service the food is damn delicious! It’s seriously one of my favorite, if not my favorite burger’s of all time…the white american cheese with the crunchy lettuce, onions, and mayo on a hoagie bun is serious perfection. I will go to this place anytime I’m in Venice, if you’re in the area you should definitely check it out!“
“Simpang Asia is a hidden gem located in a small shopping center with ample parking. We came in on a weeknight and were seated right away. The restaurant has a great ambiance and the staff was extremely welcoming. Since it was our first time trying Indonesian food we decided to order one of the most popular dishes, the Mie Tek Tek noodles. While the Mie Tek Tek noodles may look like other South Asian noodle dishes, the flavors made this dish really unique and unlike anything we have tried before. You're able to customize the level of spice which is great since the noodles do have some heat! Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious and enjoyable our meal was. I will definitely be back!“
“This is on the upper end of Taco food trucks, but it’s absolutely worth the price. I had the shrimp tostada and the mahi mahi taco. Both were excellent. I walked away from that truck promising myself I come back again.Really good food and worth a hike, would recommend driving and eating out of your trunk.“
“Here is a Wow, what an incredible experience at High Rooftop Lounge! The views are simply breathtaking - you can see for miles and miles. But what really made our visit stand out was the exceptional customer service from Max. He recommended the chicken wings and burger, and let me tell you, they were OUT OF THIS WORLD! The flavors were bold and delicious, and the presentation was top-notch. Max was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs. He went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. The atmosphere was lively and chic, and the drinks were expertly crafted. High Rooftop Lounge is a must-visit destination in Venice Beach - don't miss out! Big shout out to Max for his exceptional service. 5 stars and a huge thumbs up! "“
“Clutch in Santa Monica delivered a delightful Taco Tuesday experience! While the shrimp and fish tacos didn't quite hit the mark for me, the Gringa taco stole the show with its delicious hard shell and flavorful fillings. The burger with fries and pulled pork sandwich also received positive reviews from others in our group. The customer service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring a nice dining atmosphere. We sipped on refreshing frescas that perfectly complemented our meal. Opting to sit outside, we enjoyed comfortable seating and soaked in the ambiance of Santa Monica. Overall, Clutch offers a fantastic dining option with great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere.“
“The food was excellent by all definitions! The presentation was also on another level!! If you're looking for a culinary experience that excels in every aspect, I highly recommend it!I was thoroughly impressed by every aspect of my experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and elegant. The food not only tasted exquisite but was also presented beautifully, each dish a work of art on its own. The attention to detail in both flavor and presentation truly elevated the dining experience. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect.“
“Cute dessert shop with a nice selection of pasteries. I love how everything comes in a mini version so you can try a variety of things. A couple of things we got were gluten free (the cheesecakes and one of the cupcakes) and they were delicious and had good texture. We tried raspberry cheesecake, marble cheesecake, vanilla tart, chocolate caramel tart, chocolate raspberry tart, vanilla cupcake, red velvet cupcake, oreo cupcake, and brownie. (All minis)“
“Had such a great time stopping by here. Snagged some snacks, an oat milk latte, and the chickpea tuna sandwich which was 10/10! I’ll definitely be back to work in the little back patio area. The plants are a nice ambiance and all the employees were super friendly.“
“Perfect for a beach day! The base is all Vanilla Gelato but the toppings are all so fun and different. The portion size is quite big so one can definitely be shared by two people! I felt that the gelato that comes in the chimney cake melts slower than the cup, but that might've been just our experience!“
“The news office pace...heads down computerized ownership...new sophis?try space get jobs done like Steve Job abide‐hints base of operations ace in the Whole Lot of fixing America?????? & ultimately you're gonna get it to go anyway! It's a GREAT coffee☕?Chai tea?and donut?place!????? ?????????????????????☄??IT'S LYRICS WHEN THE MUSIC IS off or ON Ki?!“
“Amazing!!! I ordered the Caesar salad and the caprese sandwich. Both were delicious and very fresh! The Caesar salad had chunks of Parmesan. The dressing was clearly homemade and well made. The caprese salad had a delicious balsamic glaze with fresh mozzarella.Overall a great price and deli near Venice beach!“
“Really nice place, you’re allowed dogs inside which I loved. I didn’t have a dog but there was a dog there and she was lovely! Watched some of the game there well we ate some breakfast. We also went and had lunch the next day too that’s how much we loved the tacos!“
“Let me first say that I am not a dessert person. I don't usually eat cake, but when I do... um! that cake has to be yummy and quality enough to be worth the calories and fat. Then I took my first bite of Cooshi's English breakfast + Biscuit cake... time stopped... noise faded away.... Super moist cake. Balanced sweetness. Hints of milk tea. Brilliant.“
“Albion Garden has a peaceful outdoor area, a cafe with yummy Japanese food, drinks & snacks, and skin and make up products section. I loved the outdoor space. Food wise, I got the sprinkle sushi which came with pico the gallo & it was delicious. You can choose what sauce you'd like though. It's perfect for a quick lunch bite. The Amazake Squeeze Juice is a fermented rice drink with squeezed fruit of your choice (pink grapefruit, orange or pomegranate). Regarding skincare, I loved the flora drip product and bought one for myself. They also host meditation, yoga and sound bath events in the back. Definitely a very cool space in Abbot Kinney.“
“I recently had the pleasure of purchasing supplements from moon juice Venice beach, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with Leela extensive knowledge and understanding of health habits and product ingredients. You exceeded my expectations. 5 stars moon juice“
“My favorite quick bite to eat at the Venice beach boardwalk. Located right near the basketball courts, makes it a convenient location for grabbing food and watching a game. I always order the same thing here- the fish tacos. They're deep fried baja style fish tacos, and I add the hot sauce they offer on top for a nice kick.“
“Fans of Larry David, rejoice! Menotti's Coffee Stop in Venice Beach recently hosted a pop-up event featuring the comedic legend himself, and it was an experience unlike any other. The event took place within the cozy confines of Menotti's, creating an intimate atmosphere where attendees felt close to the action. This personal touch made the experience even more special for die-hard fans. While Menotti's is known for its delicious coffee drinks and pastries, this event transformed the space into a unique venue for a comedic encounter. The staff embraced the event with enthusiasm, adding to the overall experience. At this event, I had the extra spite of coffee with a scone. This was the perfect combination for an early morning breakfast at Venice before strolling at the boardroom. Too bad, I was interested to buy the Larry David shirt but it sold out quickly.“
“Celebrated my birthday on a Wednesday, 2nd time in a row. Cool spot, great outdoor area, with heat lamps. Friendly staff, cool music.Downsides, no food aside from hot dogs and only street parking.Vegetarian options: None, no foodParking: No lot, only busy street.Kid-friendliness: It's a bar so no!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs so good!“
“Had fun happy hour drinks here in the rain during March Madness. They have food TVs and great Happy Hour specials until 7pm daily, including $3 off all cocktails so I tried the Puff Puff Give first, and then their Spicy Margarita- the spicy margarita was one of the best I've had in awhile. My friend's wings were tasty but you only get 5 wings in the HH order and the steak on my nachos was the best part about them. The nachos were supposed to have melted queso per the menu description but I could barely find any cheese on them (and definitely not the melty/queso kind of cheese I was expecting) - please make nachos cheesier! Brunch looks great so I'd go back to try other items.“
“Nice restaurant for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and just overall healthier options for food! I came here with my mother in law who is gluten free and between that and the vegetarians dishes I can still confirm my tastebuds didn't miss a beat. I ordered the Pad Thai and my husband had the Gnocchi. Both were really good, but I think I liked the Pad Thai just a little bit more. I don't try the pizza my mother in law ordered but it looked good too. I was also pleasantly surprised by the mushroom calamari - the texture was just like regular calamari and the taste was very flavorful and yummy. I would order it again. For dessert was got the Matcha Chocolate Cake which was like chocolate oreo with match icing on top :) Inside the place is also very cute and trendy. Perfect date spot since most of the tables are in the smaller party side. They also have a small patio out front for the nice weather days. Parking can be tricky with street meters and it can be busy on Abbot Kinney at times.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Whaler in Venice, and I must say, my experience was elevated thanks to the outstanding service provided by Ashley. From the moment we were seated, Ashley's warm and attentive demeanor set the tone for a fantastic meal. Not only did Ashley handle a mix-up with our food order with grace and efficiency, but she went above and beyond to ensure that everything was corrected promptly. Her attention to detail and genuine care for our dining experience truly stood out. Throughout the meal, Ashley was consistently attentive, checking in on us without being intrusive and making sure that we had everything we needed. Her friendly and personable nature made us feel welcome and valued as guests.“
“The very first time at Zinque, and the experience was good. Since we were there early enough, we simply walked up to place an order and pay before finding a table. We found a comfortable booth while waiting for our food. We picked one item each from the display and shared. The food was tasty. Later on, we used a QR code at the table to place another order. This was simpler!! We ended up staying there for five hours without any disturbances. There were many others who seemed to be working while enjoying a cup of coffee while others were enjoying quick lunch. Now that we know how it works, we would definitely return to try other signature dishes.“
“AMAZING!!! The service was top tier! The entire staff from the host, to the busser, and the servers were all SO NICE! I think this has been the best service I've ever received, hands down. The menu was simple, and the food was delicious! The portions were humongous! Its mostly outside seating with an inside bar. Its sort of next to the beach which really adds to the ambiance. My family and I were more than satisfied! This place really rocks!“
“Stopped here for lunch. Very chill and the service was great. The burger was tasty and the side of potatoes/salad was a nice change compared to other places. Great selection of beer with something for everyone. Would've spent the whole day here if I could. Will definitely come back again if I'm in the area.“
“Came here for the first time, with my best friend from out of town. We LOVED our experience. The food was delicious and the service was definitely a step above. Shae was super awesome, she made sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed our time there. I’ll absolutely be back with the rest of my crew.“
“First time at waterfront for brunch this weekend and it was wonderful!! Super yummy food the fires were fantastic honestly and mimosas were a lot of fun! Nice vibes and PHENOMENAL service by Emma R, she took amazing care of us our whole experience and really made us feel welcome. Emma was so warm and helpful—made our day! Highly recommend :)“
“Great fast service with well done eggnog lattes for the holiday season. The baristas are very professional, polite and friendly. However, as can be expected, this place was developed for fast service (meaning in and out), because it's on the boardwalk with a large customer ratio. Therefore, seating capacity is very limited with almost no tables.Fortunately, the Pacific coast serves as the magnificent venue to "Chill", while sipping on your latte creation to glimpse into the origins of life. And, perhaps possibly, achieve Oneness ???Update in progress....“
“TLDR; kind of expensive and I want to try it again, maybe we just came on a bad night. We came around 7pm on Friday, so I can't really ding them too much on the wait time, but it was quite a bit of wait. We got six slices - mix of four cheese, pepperoni, meat combo and one cheese and sauce (forgot the name!) The four cheese was fresh out of the oven and really good... I'm a garlic lover so this hit me in just the right spot. We were not fans of the others, though, and we think this is mostly because it was served room temp. The slices were placed in the oven, but when we got to them (in the restaurant, as we were dine in), they weren't that warm and I think this contributed to the rubbery texture of the meat. The sauce was also kind of sweet (or was it the bread?) which we weren't a fan of. We were, however, a big fan of the thickness and crispiness of the bread. The place was really clean and we loved the decor. Parking was easy and the staff was great. Overall, we would try again to see if the food temp makes a difference. If anything, we might make it an occasional visit for the four cheese I'd say go check it out and make your own opinion, but try coming at a less busy time if it's your first time.“
“The best spot for lunch; bustling with energy, and despite the crowd, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles. The crispy chicken sandwich was standout, with just the right crunch and a tangy sauce that elevated it beyond the ordinary. It’s a place where the food, service, and ambiance come together to create a memorable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu.“
