“been ordering from here for a long time. it's a neighborhood staple. There are many Thai restaurants now but I always order here when I'm craving. the Mussamun curry is like crack lol. it hasn't changed much throughout the years which most of us know can happen frequently at our favorite restaurants. Nice family as well. Don't let these great family run restaurants go away.“

“Holy Basil in Santa Monica completely won me over. From the moment we walked in, the space felt inviting… warm lighting, a relaxed but polished vibe, and just the right buzz without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of place that feels special without trying too hard.

The service set the tone. Our server was attentive, genuinely friendly, and knew the menu inside and out, guiding us through a few dishes without ever rushing us.

And the food… where do I start. The Bangkok crab fried rice was the standout of the night. Every bite was loaded with sweet, generous chunks of crab, and the rice had that perfect smoky wok char that you only get when someone in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing. Rich, savory, and impossible to stop eating.

We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you’re anywhere near Santa Monica, Holy Basil is worth the trip.“

“Love a fully vegan spot, and this place has a big menu and all the charm of a cute ma-and pop-restaurant. Also lots of fun restaurants in the same parking lot with seating, so something for everyone if they aren’t a vegan believer.

As for the food, all freshly made and piping hot. Love that you can add fake meats to anything for not too much extra.

Only nit-pick was I wasn’t a fan of the fried rice (not enough tofu for my taste and a bit bland), but portion size was plentiful.

In a world of vegan restaurants closing left and right, it warms my heart to see a delicious and kitschy store make fresh and delicious vegan food!“

“T’s Thai Restaurant is an absolute gem in Santa Monica. I ordered chicken satay, vegetable tom yum soup, and two Thai iced teas, and every single item was outstanding. The chicken satay was perfectly grilled, tender, and paired with one of the best peanut sauces I’ve had. It was so good I had to order another. The vegetable tom yum was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of spice, citrus, and aromatics. The turmeric root gave it an amazing aroma and flavor. The Thai iced tea was rich, smooth, and the perfect complement to the meal.

Everything tasted exceptionally fresh, and the restaurant was spotless. The food was so good that I ended up ordering more because I didn’t want the experience to end. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in both quality and consistency.

If you’re looking for authentic Thai food with amazing flavors, generous portions, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere, T’s Thai Restaurant is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back.“
