“We sat outside. The inside is beautiful but we are more comfortable outside. The staff, the owner/chef all waited on us and the service was amazing. The food was so delicious. Every dish was tasty. The favorite at our table was chicken satay and garlic noodles. We highly recommend this place.“

“This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the city. Every time I order, the food is flavorful, prepared in a timely manner, and very consistent.

This used to be my local spot and then I moved. I’ve ordered from four separate Thai restaurants near my new place in an effort to find one closer, and all of them have been such a disappointment. None of them came even close to Thai Boom, so I’ve learned my lesson and I’m officially over my quest to find a closer spot.

Thai Boom is my go to, and after trying a few others back to back, I’m so grateful that their food is so delicious and consistent.“

“Phenomenal! This was probably the best meal we had on the whole trip. The Tom kha soup was incredible. I loved the red curry with pineapple and chicken. I couldn't even finish it and I adored every bite - the cherry tomatoes - brilliant! My wife got the pad see ew with beef and it was great as well.“

“This place should be listed somewhere for eccentric surprise eats! I was elated to see the dish that was inside of a fresh coconut shell! No where else you'll find a fresher, better looking AND delicious coconut curry. My words aren't giving this dish justice. “I was told to review for a free Thai Iced Tea: Good atmosphere, the decor and lighting is beautiful! Good service, I went on a busy Friday night so it took a little longer to get the server's attention but they were soooo nice when they attended me. Not the best Thai food I've had, although I'm not a good guide for identifying Thai food authenticity. That said, the Pad Thai was not pleasing to my palette. Personally, it was too salty.
I do like that they their happy hour ends at 8pm on a Friday night, which is pretty late compared to other restaurants, and they are open late as well. Pad Thai -$17 + $4 to add chicken“

“Pailin Thai Cuisine was the first place we had dinner when we arrived in LA in August 2024. It is some of the best Thai food we have ever had. The dishes are kept simple (as they should be) and at the same time the flavor combination is fantastic. Only five stars and a huge recommendation from here. In addition, the price is more than fair - it is the cheapest (but the best) meal we have had so far on our tour of California.“

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. “Best place to have northern Thai food in CA. We tried most of every menu they have and found that the test is very authentic. Our favorite dishes are the northern sausage and the chili pastes menu. I tried to make a reservation through Google in advance, but I was unable to make a reservation due to a mysterious error.

I felt very bad because the DoorDash delivery guy had stolen the original order, which was well over a hundred dollars worth of food. Not only did they replace the order, but added a couple of items for the inconvenience. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. If you enjoy chicken wings, there wings are heavenly. Honestly, some of the best wings I’ve ever tasted, cooked to perfection. And the quality of beef and chicken they use is well above average. The steak in the Thai salad was so tender, super lean and not even slightly over cooked. This will now be one of my family’s “go to” Thai restaurants in the neighborhood. “My new favorite Thai food spot! I always order yellow curry so that’s what my review is based on. I am vegetarian so chose it with tofu. I had additional requests and they came through. I asked to make it mild and leave onions out and add vegetables too. Got everything I asked for about $15 out the door ! Sauce was thick and tasty, rice included. Atmosphere wasn’t the best but I had my food to go anyway. Waited about 15 minutes. Worth every minute and penny. We found parking in the back.

“I was looking for a quick lunch while I was out walking my dogs. I was craving Thai food and stumbled upon this place with a few small tables outside. The staff were really friendly and even brought water out for the pets. The menu is extensive and I appreciated the photos of each dish because it helped me order new items I haven’t tried. The food came out quickly and was really good. I recommend!
