“This place should be listed somewhere for eccentric surprise eats! I was elated to see the dish that was inside of a fresh coconut shell! No where else you'll find a fresher, better looking AND delicious coconut curry. My words aren't giving this dish justice. I'm not too easily impressed by dishes because I've ate so many different kinds from so many different places but I'm truly impressed. Fantastic job!

“Phenomenal! This was probably the best meal we had on the whole trip. The Tom kha soup was incredible. I loved the red curry with pineapple and chicken. I couldn't even finish it and I adored every bite - the cherry tomatoes - brilliant! My wife got the pad see ew with beef and it was great as well.“

“Food is delicious and unique. Good atmosphere, beautiful light and tree outside seating. They do a nice job singing and celebrating birthdays and there is usually a few. Branzino is amazing, and the cauliflower salad is a favorite. Highly recommend for special occasions.“

“I was actually here a month or two ago and was debating reviewing this place for a while. I wanted to hate this place because they’re actively supporting Israel who are committing genocide but I put aside my morals to try it out. And damn that was the best bagel I’ve had in LA. Really not particularly close either. Everything was perfect, the bread was somehow soft and crunchy at the same time blended to a perfect mix. Toasted perfectly. Good cream cheese, like it even mattered after the bread. Truly one of one experience that actually lived up to bagels I’ve had on the East coast. And I got plain on plain. Do people realize how hard it is to make a good plain bagel with plain cream cheese? I didn’t even care that it was $6 I woulda paid $10.

But yea anyway unfortunately they support Israel who has killed 40,000+ civilians, denied hostage negotiations and killed more of their own citizens than Hamas. So I can’t support Bibi’s again.

Bibi’s, if you’re listening I would like to make you a offer: take down the Israel flags and you’ll get my $6+ once a week as long as I can breathe and leave my apartment. (Seriously Israel’s economy is gonna collapse in a few months anyway you don’t want to die on that hill. I’m Jewish too I get it, but cmon Israel isn’t even trying to hide the bloodlust). Until the Israel flags are taken down, however, I simply can’t give you my business again.

“Pat’s food never disappoints. I’ve dined here for years and been to many events catered by Pat’s and the quality and consistency are fantastic. Some of our favorite dishes: avocado egg rolls, tuna tartar tacos, Chinese chicken salad, bbq chicken salad, penne vodka, pasta arrabiata, mixed grill, chicken Milanese … but really you cannot go wrong here. So thankful to have this place! The only bummer is that they recently lost the lease on the outdoor space, so they’ve moved inside, and the ambiance is not the same.“

“Casual setting that’s family friendly and delicious food, with excellent service. If you like Crave in Jerusalem - hold onto your hat, Melrose burgers is even better. The pareve cheese they use has an incredible melt, all the meat is well flavored and the fries, chicken fingers, and fried pickles all came hot from the fryer and crispy. “I went to Geshmak last week on a Thursday. It was a great ambiance to be in plus they had their Shabbos Takeout Menu available (yes, they had cholent). The food was spectacular and the service was even better! I very much appreciated the kid's menu, although very simple, my kids ate it all and that's always the hard part. The dine-in kid's menu has a coloring sheet so the kids were entertained the whole time! 10/10 would come back again.“

“Schwartz Catering did a magnificent job at our son's bar mitzvah weekend.The food and desserts at the synagogue kiddish, at our Shabbat family/friends lunch, and at the bar mitzvah party itself were beyond delicious. The service was first-rate and Moshe Hecht did a phenomenal and thorough job of running all 3 events. We had to worry about nothing and Moshe and his staff took care of everything with superlative service. This is the 3rd time in 5 years that we've used Schwartz Catering for a major event (200+ people) and it gets better and better each time. “We had pizza and salads catered to our work training day today. It was my first time eating Pacific Kosher and it was so so good. I think I've found my go-to place. The pizza was so delicious. And the salads were unbelievably good. There was a Greek style salad with feta and olives and a quinoa salad with avocado and three different dressings that were so good. A honey mustard, a spicy dressing (that was just the right amount of heat) and a lovely dill dressing. I ate so much salad! I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the items on the menu.“

“Tried this deli after walking in there last time just to buy a side of pepperoncini. I purchased a brisket and pastrami sandwich, and a 1/2 pound cut of fatty brisket. We all thought it was a pleasant sandwich and was flavorful but not too heavy. I will go eat there again, and try some other items. The sides of cooked vegetables and the mashed potatoes as well as the potato salad were delicious as well.

“My sister and I drive all the way out from Arizona just to get Fred's delicious cheese bagels and lox, chai latte (which is a must), and various baked goods. Yes, it is totally worth it. Avi (the owner) is amazing and always takes the time to serve all his patrons with whatever they desire for the day. Anything you get from here is totally worth the wait and always comes with a smile. You won't be disappointed at Fred's!“

“Bagels were good but place was very dirty and the bagels had flies. There was more than one display compartment that had several flies and the outside tables were a mess. If you can overlook those things than you'll enjoy the bagels.“

“Good food and friendly people“

“Generally I like it here. The last time we were there though a tour group of about 50 French teenagers and 2 adults came in. The female group leader joked to the person working the counter "we're going to take over your whole restaurant!" Well it turned out not to be a joke. The teens came and sat at our table with us including one girl who was so close to my husband their arms kept bumping. When we asked the group leader to have them move over the group of girls at our table got very offended.
My issue with the restaurant is that they had the group's food ready, so they must have known they were coming. They could have given us the courtesy of letting us know so we could have chosen for ourselves to get our pizza to go.

Vegetarian options: There is absolutely no meat or fish, but there is cheese and other dairy.

“They changed their menu / hours. Now only open on Fridays, and they don't seem to serve fast casual food like shawarma / falafel / sabich anymore. Instead, they have a huge variety of take-home dishes that you order by the pound. Tried some rice, meatballs stuffed with potato, and short rib - all were great. Will have to come back and order more for a feast. Ordering is a bit overwhelming, but just wait in line for someone to assist you and pack up everything you need. Service was very friendly. I'll try calling ahead next time.“

“Ohhhh my gawd! This is the best middle eastern/mediterranean place that I have tried. It is so delicious. I can't believe it is just such a small place inside a cute little middle eastern grocery store. I am so glad I stumbled upon it. I have now eaten there twice. The food was cooked perfectly both times and the presentation was bea-u-ti-ful. They give you so much food for your money. It is sooo worth it! It is scrum-dili-uptious ha!
