I have never been here before and stopped in for a bagel. I grabbed a croissant as well. The croissant was one of the best croissants I've ever had. Delicous!!! The bagel was good as well. I live in Santa Monica and would definitely consider driving here just for the croissant. The owner had a great sense of humor and had me laughing during my visit.
Very delicious croissants!! I had an almond croissant that was very fresh with a fantastic marzipan filling. The chocolate croissant was also wonderful. I can't wait to go back and try more.

Fred's was the first stop on our little self-made hamantaschen tasting tour of LA, and it didn't disappoint. This charming little bakery is run by absolutely lovely people, and I was very impressed by the hamantaschen. (Pro tip--the large hamantaschen are much tastier than the small ones. Not sure why.)
