Chao Krung always serves the finest Thai cuisine in the City. The hospitality is most welcoming, shadowed only by Chef Amanda's brilliant cooking. Also, they have a focused and fascinating wine list. CK is always a winner.

Chao Krung Thai has been a family-owned restaurant for over 50 years, serving some of the best Thai food in the area. The dishes are carefully prepared, with many traditional recipes that are tempered for more pure flavors, making sure nothing seems overpowering. The produce used in the dishes appears to be carefully selected, contributing to the high quality of the food. Customers have enjoyed a variety of meals like fried chicken, chicken green curry, shrimp pad Thai, and green papaya salad, all beautifully presented and packed with flavor. While some dishes may be a bit salty or sweet, most find the flavors delightful and well-balanced.
The restaurant offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with modern decor that adds to the dining experience. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff willing to accommodate special requests such as preparing to-go boxes. Portions are medium to large, making it a great place to share different plates. The pricing is very reasonable given the quality of the food.
However, the seating can be a bit uncomfortable, with bare surfaces and wooden benches, and the small toilets may feel cramped for larger guests or those in wheelchairs. Despite these minor drawbacks, Chao Krung Thai remains a beloved spot for authentic Thai cuisine and a warm, welcoming setting.
