“Can’t express how delicious the food is here without just giving you a bite. The food is amazing, the staff is nothing but kind and compassionate. The food comes out really quickly, and they have a wide array of vegetarian and vegan options. Please come here if you’re craving Thai food in Burbank. Can’t recommend this place enough.Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and I felt that the menu was catered to both meat eaters and plant eaters.“
“This is the Thai SPOT, amazing food with well developed flavors and a large menu to come back again and again. The service was super fast, and super kind. We were in a rush for a flight and the waiter made sure everything we needed came super quick. It was everything you could want!“
“10/10 service :)Incredibly kind and generous staff. We ordered pineapple fried rice and forgot to mention our party had a peanut allergy. They immediately replaced it without hesitation which they did not need to since it was our mistake for forgetting to mention it.The food was delicious without it being overly salty. It also felt like the ingredients were fresh and cleaner than most!Environment was really clean and cute. It would be a great spot for those with allergies or food sensitivities because it feels like they put an emphasis on cleanliness. Bonus: we came on a friday and they had live music. Love!Dietary restrictions: Peanut allergy“
“This is my new favorite place to go for Thai food in Burbank. The staff are always very kind and attentive, and the food is always extremely delicious. It may be because I have been going during quieter times, but the food always comes out much faster than I would expect it to and it always is fresh, hot and delicious.“
“Really like this little place - kind of our favorite thai restaurant in burbank - friendly service and good food, but...takeout is served in NON-RECYCLABLE plastic - I'm gonna have to try and find another place just 'cause of this. Wish they would use more eco-friendly packaging!“
“OPEN FOR LUNCH! Google maps is wrong. Hours are 11am-3, 5-9pm DAILY, CLOSED TUES. Food is SO delicious. For a couple wok dishes I have to say light on the oil, but yeah, the people are super friendly and eating in a semi-garden like porch year round is a pleasure too! I’d give 4.5⭐️ if I could?“
“Tiny place with great flavors. Presentation was good, food was great.Complementary salad was dressed with honey mustard sauce & it was amazing.Tom kha with shrimp was rich & creamy. I loved how they used straw mushrooms. Lot of places actually uses champignon mushroom these days (which isn’t bad, but straw mushrooms go great with Tom Kha in my opinion)Fried wonton was crispy & stuffing was generous.Mongolian beef was different than I’m used to. It had more veggies & beef lacked any specific flavor, but nonetheless it was tastyI’ll definitely go back to this place whenever I’m in this area & craving Thai food :)“
“I started with the lychee martini (sweet but very good), then on to the gyoza (just alright). I also had the she's from Miami roll (they put something very spicy on the tuna that was not listed on the menu, would've been good otherwise), and the baked crab hand roll (delicious! but had avocado in it, which was also not mentioned on the menu). The staff were very nice and there was a nice ambiance.“
“It says cash only, but they do accept Zelle payments! Super hole in the wall place with delicious coconut cakes, I've tried the regular ones and the mango sticky rice ones and they're so yummy! They have other types and there's BBQ skewers as well, though I haven't tried them.“
“Great views and yummy food. Menu is quite eclectic with an Asian and Middle Eastern twist. Our waitress Jambeth was nice and politely asked us when we sat down if we had a show at the Pantages. That was very thoughtful and much appreciated. As it was we were there for my birthday and so we were not in a rush and could enjoy the skyline and cuisine. Ordered the shrimp cocktail, chicken liver and charred carrot starter. Had Cacio & Pepe, Charmoula and Duck Confit as our main. Was given a complementary dessert as it was my birthday with a candle which was a lovely gesture. Would definitely go back for drinks on summer evening and enjoy the sunset.“
“Great food and really nice looking restaurant. I was a few minutes later than expected picking up my food and the server mentioned they were just about to call. Very friendly and courteous service. All of the food was great, but the Bang Bang Broccoli and the It’s a Hit (tempura jalapeño) were especially special (intentionally saying special here twice). Will definitely be back again and happy to be living so close by!“
“Fun time at kinkan! We had the where are we going tasting menu which was cool to experience and learn anout each dish and how the chef came up with it. The head chef was not in town that day so the sous was serving us. The best dishes were the ama ebi, tuna tartare, and ceviche! All of the staff was very kind tooUnfortunately one of the items was substituted with bolognese which was disappointing (supposed to be uni pasta). And the fish and chips (amaida, matsutake) and crab fried rice was not impressive for this price point. I think it was great experience but food didn’t feel worth it in the end so I would not go back a second time.Parking: Small parking lot, handful of spaces“
“My fav Thai noodle spot in LA quaint and unassuming. Located in the retail strip between arbys and bronson studios. Very tastey authentic thai/laos style dishes. You can't go wrong adding crispy pork to some of the dishes where that's an option. Thank you for the wonderful food, and friendly/attentive service.“
“I ordered a chicken pad Thai and a Thai tea and my food was great! The person serving us was sweet and the ambiance is cute it felt like being a a studio set for a show from the 90s I think it's the wood paneling ? Either way if you're around the silver lake echo park area and are looking for Thai food with parking then I'd definitely check this place out !“
“Truly can’t wait to come back here. As a gluten free person, I love how many options their menu has to offer that are specifically marked GF. Food was AMAZING. We ate there for lunch and I honestly wanted to go back for dinner on the same day lol. We will definitely be returning and I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who enjoys Thai food! The Green Chili and Pad Thai were incredibly flavorful. Service was also super friendly!Dietary restrictions: SO MANY options for gluten free people! :D“
“We ordered, duck laab, beef laab, nam tok, banana leaf fish, beef noodle, sausage, papaya & skewers, they were all so delicious! We were so eager to eat, we didn't even take before photos. The lady taking our order was super nice as well.“
“Most people are looking for the next big thing when it comes to restaurants. Spoiler alert, this place isn't new! It's been under your radar for decades. Family run. 2 generations and counting. Just go. Simple dining area. Small, 6 tables. I could go on but you'll get bored. Have a great time! Try something you haven't tried before. You'll love it!Vegetarian options: Just leave out the proteinDietary restrictions: VeggieParking: Open lot with day attentionKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: You have space“
“This "whole in the wall" is actually very popular. It's small, but that doesn't take away from the vibe. I think this is probably the only place where I'd order boat noodles. The flavor is out of this world. Nothing else like it. Love trying new things and this one does not disappoint. The pad see ew is always a classic dish I like to order. This one was good. Hard to go wrong with pad see ew chicken. The waiter and owner are amazing. Nothing better than being greeted by a friendly face. Very helpful, checking in on us, and happy to see us. That's half the experience so this place gets a gold star. Love it and will be going back soon. Prices are very reasonable as well. Try the boar noodles!“
“Unique menu with lots of variety, wonderful staff, and sweet atmosphere. You find a table and the order at the counter to have dishes brought to you. The staff is very accommodating for vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free preferences. Some items are marked as such and you can ask for modifications of most dishes when you order. Loved all the drink options, with the choice of adding boba and swapping for non-dairy milk too. I found free street parking on Lucerne. Looking forward to returning.Vegetarian options: Very accommodating for vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free preferences. “This is a wonderful place! The service is very friendly and the food is DELICIOUS - super flavorful and unique dishes you can’t find anywhere else. Small parking lot in the strip mall with reserved spots for the restaurant. Will definitely be back & the value for money is excellent. Dine in or take out - you really won’t be disappointed!“
“Quaint little restaurant about a mile from Universal Studios. Awesome Thai vegan offerings with wonderful service and atmosphere. Very convenient location to local hotels, as well!Vegetarian options: Good vegan meats. I had the eggplant and tofu, others had curries. Very yummy!“
“Incredible food! Wonderful welcoming service and food was quickly delivered. Chic and fun atmosphere, and very clean. Everything was so good, but make sure to also ask for the garlic chili oil and chili powder if you want to kick up the spicy and garlic flavor a notch! I loved the basil flavor of the spicy fried rice, and the sweet and spicy flavor of the spicy garlic noodles! Everything is vegan but you would never guess it based on how freaking yummy everything is!“
“They had a huge order when we were there so the service was pretty slow and the server didn't check in on us after we got our food until we asked for the check. One item was forgotten by us and them and it wasn't on the bill, thankfully. Would go again but would hope they don't have a huge order distracting several employees at the same time.Vegetarian options: There are lots of dishes that can be made vegetarian by subbing animal proteins with tofu. They taste good too!Wheelchair accessibility: First/ground floor parking and entrance. Easy to access. You'd want to try to call ahead so they can save a more comfortable table for the wheelchair with a little bit more room.“
“Heng Heng Chicken Rice is a hidden gem known for its exquisite Hainanese Chicken and fragrant Garlic Rice. The tender, succulent chicken paired with aromatic garlic-infused rice creates a harmonious blend of flavors that delights the palate. With a friendly staff and a cozy ambiance, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking a taste of authentic Hainanese cuisine.“
“Outstanding Thai food in the valley, and we haven't found any comparable place in the valley yet! Lots of interesting house specials. Pad Thai with crispy pork is my favorite. The classics are on point. Every time we try something new we're happy and surprised!“
“Looking for the best sidewalk That food in town? This is it. But it's also among the very best tasting Thai food around, whether on the sidewalk or at a regular restaurant.Everything is really well flavored, but the Pad Kapow stir-fried ground pork and basil bowl is not to be missed. Haven't had this at any other restaurants, which is a shame, because it's just that good.“
“So glad we took a chance on our google search today! It was such a cute little place, very inviting and the staff is warm and hospitable. They clearly care about their craft and customers. The food was fantastic! One of the best Thai spots we have tried in LA. We will be back “
“So good! I tried a number of menu items and loved each. The shrimp soup was perfectly spicy and packed with wonderful flavors, the appetizers (hot wings and chicken skewers) were outstanding and my entree - pad see ew with beef was just perfect. The service was ideal - helpful fast and informative. I'll definitely be back very often!“
“My beef noodle spot for a couple of years now. I have to visit once a week if possible and I'm in Long Beach and have yet to find a better place in sevetal years! Highly recommended and their other food is amazing as well. I just can't get over how good the soup is so that's what I get every time now. It might seem like a strange location but don't let that stop you and you can thank me later. Enjoy“
“We have just discovered this place, it is really appreciable that it is halal and offers great flavors from Chinese and Thai cuisines. Especially try the Mongolian, Chow Mein, and Tom Yum Soup. The staff is friendly and the service is very fast“
“Holy Basil is instant comfort that teleports you home. The dishes are flawlessly executed and the flavors are consistently on point. The vibe of this hidden gem reminds you of your family’s kitchen and I feel like a kid again full of excitement from the escaping aromas. I lean heavy into firing the menu family style and always look forward to memorable meals shared. Their take out withstands LA traffic to the far away land of Santa Monica. Service is hands down the friendliest in town.“
“I've been coming here for 17+ years... this food feels like home. The owner makes me feel at home every time. I've come here feeling a bit under the weather and she took care of me and gave me some delicious soup! And I was cured instantly! She's got magic in her restaurant!!! Thank you for everything!!!“
“Hands down one of the best Thai snack shop around. I don’t even care if it’s “overpriced” compare to how much it is in Thailand, I get to enjoy my pressed sugary powder milk tablet in the US and that’s all that matters to me.Mid price point because you’ll end up getting a bag full of snacks and it really adds up lol.“
“The 2024 Smorgasburg season kicked off today, 1/14/2024! While it is not close to me, I usually go at least once or twice a month. It's an ideal spot for outdoor dining with diverse culinary offerings, exploring distinctive shops, and soaking in a positive atmosphere.Smorgasburg LA is open every Sunday on the five-acre site of the weekday Alameda Produce Market in Downtown Los Angeles, which is part of a larger, new development called ROW DTLA.Each Sunday from 10 AM - 4 PM, you will find dozens of exciting food vendors plus sophisticated shopping from the realms of design, craft, style, vintage, wellness, and more. Cultural events, pop-ups, and other surprises transform the vast site into a new node in Downtown LA's burgeoning scene, and a unique destination for the area.Today, I tried Pad See Ew from the Radna Silom vendor. In terms of rating for that, I want to give it 4.5 stars due to price and portion ($15+tax and not much on the plate). I remember it being larger before.Overall, it is a must-check out for various foodie options.Tip:-Free 2 hr parking-Take your food outside of the main space and sit in the main ROW area-Go with others to try many things“
“BEST pad see ewe I've had in LA! I'm quite picky when it comes to Thai food. I'm one for authenticity when it comes to food in general. So I like to learn the history & stories behind the food, and the people the food represents. Very friendly & welcoming service. Bright, simple, and clean ambience. The fried mango-sticky rice rolls are an excellent and a quite ingenious version of the typical mango & sticky rice dessert! I also appreciated the check out process with their handheld device & they take Apple Pay. From the beginning as I entered I felt welcomed, again throughout the service was like being waited on by family, all smiles; and to the end of the meal, bows and smiles! 3 suggestions though: 1. The Thai tea could have been done with little less milk and more tea, and maybe offer other milk options like almond or soy milk, but it was still very flavorful and smooth! 2. I would like to see an upgrade in the glassware used for drinks like the Thai tea, hopefully in the near future. 3. Need better professional pictures up on Yelp. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical in trying this restaurant as I saw there were only 94 other reviews, yet it all averaged 5 stars! So I always make a point to try restaurants that possibly may have been overlooked or underrated. This place is definitely an authentic gem one all would enjoy! They actually deserve 10 stars I'll definitely be back again ;)“
“Best Thai in the area. Been here many years ago in La Brea but still the best. The chicken curry is excellent, generous portion, savory and authentic. The basil stewed pork leg was very good but it would be nice to get less fatty parts. When you ask for spicy hot, they delivered spicy hot. Will come back soon!“
“One of our favorite Hollywood restaurants!! A hidden gem not to miss. Authentic thai cuisine at very reasonable prices.Have eaten for a couple decades in Thai Town but only went to Siam Sunset a few years ago. This was the first place I've ever eaten pad kra pao & it has become my favorite Thai dish! And Siam easily makes it the best!Only knock is there's no on site parking, but street parking is usually not too tough depending on the day. Still it's worth the walk.Would give it six stars if it were possible.“
“Just ordered from here for the first time! The area seemed a little sketchy - but they have their own parking lot (it's a ghost kitchen) and the pickup was fairly easy! The staff working there was soooo nice and kind. And the most important part: the food was really freaking good. Probably the best Tom yum soup I've had in a long time. SO MUCH FLAVOR. My new to go Thai spot for sure!! I also ordered some noodles on the side to put in the soup and it had fried garlic on top - YUM. Can't wait to go back :) love that they're open late too!“
“I just got back from Thailand and this place is just as good as the real thing. The pad thai is on the sweeter side but the texture is excellent. The khao soi is also delicious and definitely worth a try if you've never had it before. My friend tried it here for the first time and loved it. The service is great, the prices are unbearable ($2 for Thai tea, $10-$11/entree) and the environment is calm and easy. I went on a Friday at 7:30 and had no problem getting a seat. Highly recommend!“
“Omg, everything was good! One of the best vegan orange chicken and pineapple fried rice, delicious dumplings and veggie broth soup. The unsweetened Arnold Palmer drink was so refreshing. Good prices and nice area, I will come back.Vegetarian options: Really good quality vegetarian Thai“
“The food was absolutely amazing! Everyone at the party loved the food. The meat was super Tender and juicy. All the salads and bread was delicious. I’m so impressed with their service. I wish I took pictures of the presentation before we ate all the food.“
“An oasis of great food in a wasteland - downtown LA. It’s in one of the nicer food courts. Not super-cheap, but for a sit-down of awesome food it’s great!Service was quick and thoughtful as well. You don’t feel abandoned like in some places. And lots of smiles.“
“This evening was amazing with Rad Na with very softest pork marinaded in front of the silom market! They are here for a while their dishes reminded me of the real Thai street style food in Thailand. You can order many more dishes here such as Pad thai , Pad Siew wok perfectly and many more. Tables are on the side of the street just to make sure you have time to wait to get seated a little. I would really come here more often. Most of the dishes are only 10 dollarsThey are more than just an Asian super market now. Lately I’ve heard that they just started to open Karaoke Upstairs I would definitely come and try for next timeDefinitely recommended 100 percent“
“This is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant.Their food is truly life authentic.Everything Tj at I ordered was great!! And Service is amazing and very fast they are so kind and attentive. I feel really home here and I’m so thankful I found this place !! <3 will be back to La cuz this Thai restaurant!“
“I only came here once as I don't live in LA. However, the food was great and the people were very kind. It's a plus that it was also kind of rainy that day as it made the ambiance very pretty. I would love to come back again one day.“
“I loved it here. My mom who is super picky, still raves about it. We will be back for sure but im not a fan of dogs being able to come in. There is even a pick that shows a dog on the table (uughh). I love dogs and have one myself but i keep him home when i dine out.“
“This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants. It's actually a Thai restaurant and it's so amazing. Start with the soup. It's so delicious and authentically thai. I've never had a bad meal here and it's definitely one of my staples for Los Angeles. Yes, it is completely vegan!Vegetarian options: Menu is all vegan“
“We decided to give this location another try and we were blown away by all of the delicious meals they prepared. The shrimp pad see ew was flavored to perfection. The crab fried right was just right and the spicey fried rice was balanced with the right amount of heat. You can always request the kitchen to turn up or turn down the spice level according to your taste buds. Try the lychee martini, you will thank me later. The service was five-star from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with a warm welcome and our waitress made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience. The restaurant is small and intimate, perfect for a local date night. We had a great time guys, thank you and we will see you guys again soon.“
“The mango sticky rice here is so good! The mangos were really fresh and there were plenty of slices that came with the dish. The crispy bits on top are also an unexpected yet delicious addition and pair well with the sticky rice and sauce. Looking forward to checking out the restaurant in person and trying out some of the main dishes“
“We're looking for a nice Thai food after a long walk at the Universal Studios and found this place. We ordered Pad Thai, panang, and satay! They were so tasty and delicious! My family and I are from Las Vegas and will go back there to eat when we come to California because we enjoyed eating at their outdoor patio with garden plants surrounding us.“
