“Incredible spot for authentic boat noodle right here in van nuys. We have boat noodle and it’s perfect richness, deep flavor broth. To wash it down, Thai iced tea is very authentic southern Thai style Thai iced tea. It’s perfectly sweet, creamy, and refreshing. It’s great to have a Thai legit noodle house in the neighborhood. Highly recommend five this place a try.“

It's my first time here in this simple looking hidden gem and I had a great experience. They barely opened when I came so the store was clean. Their menu had so many variations of Thai food and most of them looked delicious.

I ordered the Thai coffee, shrimp and pork spring rolls, steamed pot stickers and the seafood combination fried rice with added chicken.
The Thai iced cofee were very good, although I am not really a coffee person, I liked it.
Their pork and shrimp eggrolls were not bad and the steamed pot stickers were awesome.

The fried rice came with shrimp, squid, and 4 pieces if fried fish plus I asked them to add some chicken on it. It was fantastic!
I could finish it all because the portion was generous and i only cost $40 something dollar for everything.“

“My boyfriend loves the spicy seafood soup. He’s been coming here for years.. highly recommend you stopping by and trying their food. We have moved from the area. I sometimes will drive specially just for the spicy seafood soup from LAX. Will be returning to dine in next, and try the other dishes as well. Staff are friendly.“

“First time here and we loved it! Chow mein and orange chicken were super delicious. The soup was okay — some liked it, some thought it was a bit sour, so l'd try a different one next time. I’ve been here plenty of times before, I feel like it’s my hidden gem but after my most recent visit for my girlfriend’s birthday l, I was just blown away with the service and attention to detail. We ordered the lamb and beef skewers, which were in the Chef’s special side menu, as our starter. Juicy and savory, the side cucumber/carrot salad was so fresh and cut through the meat flavors. Our mains were the best soup I’ve ever had, their Tum Yum soup which is addicting, you don’t want to stop drinking it and the star of the night, their beef brisket Pad See Ew that’s out of this world. We washed it all down with their natural red, another reason we go. They outdid themselves with a complimentary mango sticky rice and birthday candle, which dispite how full we were we devoured
10/10 can’t wait to return!“

“We had lunch here on our way to Hollywood. Better than any Thai restaurant we visited in LA. Their Khao Soi was delicious ! We ordered both dry and curry - both were fantastic. We ended our lunch with a matcha mochi ice cream - can’t even describe the flavors. The staffs were very friendly. Will stop by again on our visit to LA.“

“We ate at The Original Hoy-Ka Thai Noodle twice during our time in Hollywood, which should tell you how good it was. The food was consistently excellent, fresh, and full of flavor.
I went for the vegetarian version of their namesake Hoy-Ka noodle soup—wide rice noodles with tofu and mushrooms instead of chicken—and I seriously dreamed about it afterward. The broth had the right balance of spicy, sour, savory, and comforting, with noodles that held up perfectly. It was one of those bowls you keep thinking about long after you leave.
We also had the tofu drunken noodles and tofu R-Ka Prao, both ordered mild and without fish sauce or oyster sauce. Everything was spot on: flavorful, satisfying, and clearly made to order. The Ruam Mitr mixed-fruit dessert was a nice way to cool down at the end.
Parking on Sunset can be a little tricky, but they have valet parking in the back and it is tip-only. Do not let parking scare you off. We would happily eat here again on every trip to Hollywood.“

It seems to be a unicorn eatery: the atmosphere / decor so tasteful and upscale, the location central hustle and bustle, the food bursting with flavor - yet prices were completely reasonable and the place felt calming and quaint. Special shoutout to the server tonight who represented a perfect mix of attentiveness and giving us a personal space.

We had tom kha, “chicken” wings and spicy basil. This might become our favorite spot in the area!“

Place was empty for breakfast (I assume it’s lunch/dinner that’s more popping) and very cute inside. My kid and I are now OBSESSED with their shrimp omelette - was so airy and light. The lady that was serving us - I assume the owner - was super lovely. Kid has been begging to go back every day since. They also have Thai iced tea, interesting drinks (something pink and milky that the kid enjoyed), and fancy cappuccino machine.“

“I came here on a rainy afternoon with no expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted so warmly. And then the food came.

You know that scene in Ratatouille at the end of the movie when the big food critic takes a bite and gets that flashback to his childhood? That warm, comforted, happy feeling? That’s exactly how this food made me feel.

It was hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life. Every bite tasted like real family, home-cooked love not just restaurant food.

The service was incredible. The woman there packed up my leftovers for me (something even a lot of “nice” restaurants don’t do), opened the door when I left, and even offered to let me borrow an umbrella because it was still raining.

If you want authentic, family-style Thai food that makes you feel something, this is the spot.

“The Tom Yum Goong Pizza was absolutely delicious! The flavors were bold, fresh, and very well balanced. You can really taste the classic tom yum flavors in every bite.

The shrimp was tasty, and I loved the combination of spicy, tangy, creamy, and savory flavors. It’s such a creative idea to turn Tom Yum Goong into a pizza, and it worked so well.

Definitely a unique dish worth trying, especially if you love Thai food and want something different from a regular pizza. I would happily order it again. Highly recommend.“

“My family loves coming here for dinner at least a few times a month. Lately though, they've been running out of white meat during dinner. I guess they sell out during the day. Next time we'll call in advance because we are creatures of habit and like to order the half white steamed and half fried, and are disappointed when we learn they are sold out again. The food is still delicious, service is always great, and kids eat free, so we want to keep coming back.“
