I decided to post a review after reading Chelsea’s ridiculously unfair review. I completely disagree with her negative attitude. This place is wonderful and the staff are fantastic. I also appreciated the owner’s response explaining the soft opening and the permitting process for alcoholic beverages.

Delicious real and fresh traditional Thai served with a smile in a nicely designed space. A great addition to Silverlake. Used to be on hillhurst in los feliz and was missed.

Thai on Hyperion was a favorite local restaurant for Thai food, known for its delicious and flavorful dishes. Reviewers praised the awesome Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Box of Prawns, Rainbow rice, crusted Salmon, Hot Mermaid, and the best Tom Kha Kai soup with a delicious, seemingly buttery coconut broth. The food was consistently described as delicious, amazing, and filling at a decent price, and it was a great option for vegetarians.
The service was repeatedly highlighted as excellent, friendly, kind, and accommodating for both small and large groups, including families. Servers were attentive and made sure guests had everything they needed. The ambiance was bright and spacious with a good noise level for conversation.
Sadly, the restaurant has closed permanently after its rent was raised significantly. Many expressed hope it would relocate, and customers were encouraged to support local businesses. It was formerly called Simply Thai.
