“First time here dining in and it was tasty. I had the beef pad see ew and chicken satay with the Thai ice tea. They also have lunch specials when dining in. Establishment is clean and staff is friendly and helpful.Parking: Parking can be full at times but when I was there during lunch time. It wasn’t bad getting parking.“
“This place always has great food. It's hard to go wrong with any choice on the menu. Love the Kai Kua, but don't forget the sauces! Chili Lime and Cucumber. Both are great. $2 extra, but so worth it!Parking: Somewhat limited parking. Hard to park when busy.“
“Angela is an amazing host. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The place is warm and full of life and the food is amazing. Probably the best Thai you can find anywhere within 50 miles! The homemade cilantro hot sauce should be bottled and sold. I would drink that by itself.Parking: Big lot nearby.“
“This restaurant is a gem of Thai restaurant in the Westchester area. The food is prepared in the traditional cuisine of Thai. I enjoyed my Pad Thai with large shrimps. The baby back ribs were tender with flavor. They did not disappointed us with our dinner. This small restaurant that has been in the same location for the past 2 decades. The customer service is superb! This is that restaurant where they remembered you from your last visit. I made reservations which is recommended for Friday and Weekend dining. We were seated right away! Jade is a wonderful server! She ask each of her guests if they had any food allergies. We enjoyed our food and cocktails ?. There is a neat patio with heater. There is plenty of free parking.“
“The food here was so flavorful, with a good amount of spice! ? The drunken noodles, or Pad Kee Mao, were the best. We also enjoyed their Massaman curry and Tom Kha soup. The service was great, and the staff were very welcoming. We'll definitely be returning soon!“
“Best thai place I had in awhile. Great value. I had the beef satay and my wife had the chicken satay. Beef satay is bomb. I recommend the cucumber salad over the papaya salad. It had a subway veggies type of taste. My wife is picky and ended up loving it. Be here soon again. 17 bucks average meal.“
“My favorite go to vegan Thai dinner. Gourmet food served in a casual restaurant. A gem in Los Angeles, free parking. Excellent food, highly recommended. Every dish was made with care and the ingredients are of high quality. Highly recommended. Chef is trained in the best culinary school in New York. Her constant passion to make better food is clearly reflected in her cooking. Each time I’ve been here, I can see how her food has stepped up to the next level.Vegetarian options: Chef is trained in the best culinary school in New York.“
“My personal favorite Thai restaurant to support ! They are so genuine and always so kind to their customers. They prepare their food with fresh ingredient's and every meal has been delicious! The food is consistently good here. We really love everything here from wonton soup, pad se ew, pumpkin curry, pineapple fried rice and the papaya salad to name a few of the faves! Excellent combos for lunch too! Dine in, take out and delivery available during lunch & dinner.“
“This is a good place to come it. There is a big parking lot to park your car. There was a lot of room to sit and eat. The food was good. The orange chicken seemed a bit hard. The outer part of the orange chicken felt crunchy. I like my orange chicken when it is soft. It was ok. The salad and rice were great. The egg roll was good, too. The Thai tea was ok, too. $17.63 for this meal was good. I appreciate the service. Thank you so much. ?.“
“We ordered online for delivery, but wow - it’s AMAZING FOOD. The flavors are delicious and portions are good. We will definitely be ordering from here again or visiting in person.Dietary restrictions: I am gluten free and I love that they offer options for this. The food didn’t seem to bother my stomach too much“
“They belong in the cloud kitchen in Culver City. This is convenient for pick up. Cloud kitchen is a concept where there are multiple kitchens located in the same location. Food can be ordered prior to arrival to cut the wait time. They will call you when food is ready.I ordered:1. Grilled chicken - chicken is very moist and flavorful!2. Crispy chicken krapow with sunny up side egg - moist chicken3. Mango tropioca“
“Got take out from Palmsugar, just two dishes since it was the first time trying it - got chicken pad thai and vegan spicy basil fried rice. Both dishes were amazing, the basil fried rice was honestly 10/10 - had spice, excellent flavor, well cooked. The Pad Thai was also very good.Definitely would recommend and will likely try more of their food.Vegetarian options: They seem to be able to make most options vegetarian/vegan - the basil fried rice has the option for tofu, no fish sauce, no egg and at the bottom, an additional option to make it vegan - perhaps to ensure it would be. Flavor was still phenomenal, thoroughly enjoyed it.“
“I had lunch at this restaurant with my friend when we were visiting LA, and I'm so glad we stumbled across it! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was so friendly. One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to, and definitely somewhere I'll be visiting again the next time I'm in town!“
“New Thai food in town. Everything so yummy. I really like my crab rolls and noodle soups. Just recommended if you not like spicy that much get mild is better cause of medium here is pretty spicy. Nice ambience, simple and clean. Good and fast service my food came out fast. I'll be back here again when I'm in town. :)“
“[Review #808] 2024-007 Food Order: PAD SEE EWE (stir fried flat rice noodles, steamed tofu, eggs, Chinese broccoli) LUNCH SPECIAL with RICE, GREEN SALAD & CRISPY WONTON, MANGO STICKY RICE I was craving Thai food, but my former go-to no longer serves with consistency. Warin Thai popped up on my search; it's a bit farther in Harbor City but I'm down for good food. It was my office's weekly lunch treat & needed to run an errand nearby, so it was perfect! Located across from Kaiser, off the corner of PCH & Normandie Ave., the restaurant sits on the far right corner of the Harbor Plaza 1. Parking is free, with limited spaces, & they are tight. I called in my order, & actually called a couple of times because I couldn't get through & wasn't sure if they were open. When I finally got through, a pleasant voice greeted me, took my order & repeated it before ending the call. Upon entry, I was greeted, my cc charged, & was out the door in a couple of mins. after snapping a few pics of the menu & dining room. The decor is plain, the tables were spaciously set apart (social distancing?), room was clean & organized during lunch rush. The round trip to/from my office was nearly 40-mins., & my lunch was surprisingly warm! The noodles were cooked to a perfect al dente, & sauced just enough to coat & nicely caramelized. I ordered tofu as the protein accompaniment, taking on the soy sauce flavors. The Chinese broccoli was also cooked just right; I just wished there was more of it. The lunch special also includes jasmine rice, green salad & crispy wonton. Nothing unusual about the salad, just your typical greens. It's a decent lunch portion, though I can't imagine what the regular looks like. I finished off with a serving of the classic mango sticky rice. It was absolutely delicious... & most satisfying!! Though the menu is compact, it contains the standards & then some. Decent portions, but you definitely get the bang for your buck here! Excellent & friendly service, though I had an issue getting through on the phone even past lunch rush (after 1:00 PM). I'm definitely game for more good eats here... a South Bay hidden gem that's waiting for you to discover! Recommended: Pad See Ewe Lunch Special, Mango Sticky Rice.“
“This place reminds me of chiang mai! The flavors are great and the people who work there are as sweet and friendly as the people of chiang mai. Maybe the flavors have been slightly changed to accommodate American tastes but for the most part everything is really tasty here. So glad there's a few thai places worth going to in South bay and not have to drive all the way to Hollywood. As a shout out the three bowl thai spots in gardena (bowl thai, sweet rice and bowl thai grill) are my other favorite thai spots. But this one is very close if you live in the south bay. Definitely worth a visit. Crab fried rice is very tasty and the chicken khao soi is very good.“
“Excellent service! Beautiful ambience . Wide selection of Thai or Japanese food . I was given to try a fried salmon sushi in a light sweet sauce as a appetizer . I ordered a eel hand roll though it came unrolled it had more pieces of the cooked eel then I usually get in a cone shaped hand roll . Ordered a cooked Yellowtail Collar with a squeeze of lemon it was fine . The plum wine was delicious and reasonable . Going back today to try the Thai food .“
“Pretty good food and service. Unfortunately nothing had any heat or kick. I'm thinking I got the white people treatment because I was also the only one that got a fork instead of chopsticks, but I had asked for spicy and barely got mild. Also don't bother with the lunch special soup, upgrade it to anything else because it's just a cup of hot cabbage water with a piece of unseasoned chicken.“
“Boom. Dropping in hete right after work and 10 minutes before close. The waitress was super kind, I always have this issue deciding what I eat so I just gave her my favourite food ingredients, some beef and pork here, some noodles there, spicy of course - bang, she suggests drunken noodles. What an excellent service. Ambiente is nice, calm and relaxing to eat, food tastes damn hot ;)Will come again!“
“Totally love Three Spice! I had my usual Drunken Noodle (mild) with chicken. It was fresh and delicious. My friend ordered the yellow curry with chicken, served with steamed rice. We both enjoyed our food so much, that we didn't take pics. When the thought hit me I was rubbing my belly. If you haven't tried Three Spice, please do!“
“Literally the top 3 best Thai restaurants I've experienced in Los Angeles. I only lived in Thailand for 6 months but my fiancée lived in Bang Chak for 14 years and he says it tastes like back home, not the street food but more sophisticated & advanced version. We love pad kee mow here so much !!! Also has vegan options and staff are always super helpful and nice, double checking if we can handle Thai spicy or not place is bit tiny but it's cozy!“
“Overall, food was solid. Although it's a little on the sweet side, it was still really authentic. The portion sizes were great for the price paid. The ambiance is simple yet pleasing. It's an old Taco Bell that was converted, so seating is limited. Service was extremely fast, but maybe because we came at a later time than normal. Parking is also limited but there's street parking. Just a heads up, if you order anything "spicy" get ready to burn some calories.... it's HOT.“
“Was in the mood for some Thai curry and came across this Hidden Gem - Hidden Garden Thai Cuisine. It's tucked inside a small shopping mart (easy to miss). Parking is a little tight, however they do have a few spot designated for their restaurant. The host and server was friendly and attentive. The food was out quickly and warm. Price: it's reasonable for the quality and quantity of tasty food you get. Definable coming back.“
“We’ve eaten Thai all over the world and this place is amazing. Super authentic. Vegan options, particularly the soy chicken satay, is out of this world. Also super convenient, free garage parking at rear entrance.Vegetarian options: Can make non-vegetarian dishes vegetarian.“
“Absolutely one of our new favorite and best restaurants in the Southbay! The owner, Willie, and his wife, are unbelievably the most kind hearted, genuine, caring people we have come across yet, Not only was the food, absolutely spectacular and some of the freshest quality Thai food We have ever had. but the service and ambience was top-tier and we cannot wait to return back with our mother-in-law and other family members to introduce them to our new favorite restaurant in Redondo Beach! You will leave feeling so full delighted and excited with the best memories! Thank you Willie!!“
“quiet peaceful place The workers are also very friendly and take their work seriously.Parking: There are paid hourly training sessions and a waiting area for passengers in total it will be difficult to park there if you want the car to be right next to that very restaurant“
“What do you order when you're being lazy at home and don't want to cook but still need to eat something heartwarming? Khun 9 Thai should be on your list of places to hit up to get that fixing right away.My friend and I ordered two dinner specials and were happy with what we got. I ordered their Tofu Penang Curry which came with white rice, side salad, and a fried wonton. I wasn't able to have the wonton but the curry itself was good (although it's hard to mess up coconut milk & curry paste). It definitely had a kick to it and I did ask for spicy, so I was happy it turned out that way.You don't normally find good dinner boxed sets at most restaurants anymore so it's a nice change of pace to see one being offered, especially at a Thai restaurant of all places. Thanks Khun 9 for the fast, simple, and tasty meal.“
“Highly recommend! We hosted lunch here after a funeral service for 28 people. Staff was very friendly, kind, and helpful in the planning of the event. Everyone ordered what they wanted, and the food was delicious. They have a menu that is very large and can accommodate different dietary needs. We can't wait to go back. Thank you, Thai Talay!“
“We eat take-out dinner every Friday night. Sometimes from one of three Chinese restaurants, sometimes from House of Thai Taste. The food is quite tasty, well seasoned, spicy but not *too* spicy. Our favorite dishes are woon sen soup (chicken stock with vegetables, "glass noodles", bits of chicken and a shrimp or two), woon sen beef (glass noodles with bits of beef and veggies), and yellow curry. The only problem is that they sometimes get orders confused. Several times they have given me somebody else's order, or _mostly_ my order but with the wrong soup - tofu instead of glass noodles. I've learned that I should (1) order by phone, not over the web, and (2) pick the order up in person so I can check it before I take it away. Getting it delivered is an invitation for mistakes. In spite of the mistakes, the food is tasty enough to make it worthwhile.“
“Very good value! I went during the week & had their lunch plate special which includes an egg roll & side salad. I thought it might be less food- wrong....Couldn't even finish my plate & I was really hungry too. I ate the greeny curry lunch plate special & was really happy with my order. Looking forward to trying their other menu items.“
“Delicious and really cute place! We had the crispy veggie rolls, drunken noodle/pad kee mao, eggplant, pineapple fried rice, mango sticky rice, Thai iced coffee and Thai ice tea. Would re order everything but the mango sticky rice (teeny portion) and the fried egg roll (just ok). Service is very friendly. Spent about $40 each for 3 people, but we ordered a little too much! Would love to return soon.“
“Bamboo Thai Bistro is a terrific neighborhood Thai restaurant in North Redondo. Parking is easy as they have their own lot and there is street parking. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Just tell them make the sauce vegan, and it’s perfect everytime. My favorite is their spicy basil eggplant with extra eggplant instead of protein! And their Fresh Rolls are VERY good.“
“I had to edit because I did not do it justice. First time here and I'm definitely coming back to eat the Boat Noodle Soup again before i try anything else. The broth is like a Pho made in the style of Ramen. It's a very dark broth unlike a delicate light Pho (Pho is trash if the broth is dark.) This broth is absurdly flavorful. Bro!If you're reading this, stop wasting time, hit "Drive" on the map and come taste this soup!Word of caution. I eat a lot of spice and getting Hot on this Boat Noodle soup was too much. Hahaha. Go medium if you like spicy food and mild if you barely eat hot food. First time I sweat eating spicy food in like two years. But I loved it!“
“Their Seafood Noodle soup is the best ? it's made fresh and has lots of vegetables like I request. If you like the shrimp and fish, they will always accommodate with more of the meat. I prefer more veggies. I've gone to them since 2019 during the pandemic, and they're great with the freshly cooked items.“
“Great date spot… though their warnings for spice are spot on… and actually sometimes don’t indicate how spicy they will be… our server shared that mild is too spicy for many and she was right.. the pad Thai was the best shrimp pad Thai I’ve ever had… highly impressed and we only got two dishesDietary restrictions: They have plenty of gluten free options“
“I visited this restaurant for lunch over the weekend. It was quite busy, with many takeout orders being placed. I ordered the Spicy Basil Beef and Green Curry. Both dishes allowed the option to choose the level of spiciness, and I found that mild spicy was just right for me; the regular spicy was quite hot. Each dish was around $10, making it very affordable. The food was delicious, and I'm definitely planning to return.“
“Stopped by here for a quick lunch on a Sunday while heading down to Palos Verdes. Split an order of pad thai (I know it’s basic but I love pad thai) and it was more than enough for two people. You order/pay at the counter first and then can take a seat. Indoor and outdoor seating available. There’s a self-service water spout next to the counter and you can also help yourself to utensils/sauces. The overall vibe is casual. Credit cards accepted. Parking is easy as this place is located in the Tokyo Centre plaza. It’s good for big groups as well as kids.“
“I only venture this place for their Chicken Curry! Savory tender, medium spicy curry made just right with perfect sized carrot pieces added with the chunks of perfect chicken The staff is friendly no bells or whistles, they concentrate on just good wholesome Asian food. No overpricing and so even pleasing to your pocket , well worth itYou can sit in or take out, very simple no fuss no bougie motif! So if your in the LAX area looking for somewhere to eat, check into Pagoda's You'll be satisfied you did!Other tasty food items available :Chicken CurrySpicy Fried RiceTeriyaki ChickenBeef Broccoli Fried Jumbo Shrimp Egg Rolls“
“Food was awesome. Had the Pad Thai (single portion) and the Spicy Curry ( single portion)It is not a dine restaurant, you need to call or mobile order your food. I called before hand no answer, went to the location and ringed the doorbell and I was able to placed a order. Quick service once you get their attention.“
“I have been ordering through Uber Eats! Their soups are very filling and delicious! You get large portions. Enough to last for a couple of days! And everything is very fresh! I didn't rate atmosphere because I've only had it delivered!Vegetarian options: Any of there dishes vegetables instead of meat is an option“
“I've been here twice so far with my daughter...The first time I was served by Nikki and the second time I was served by HollieBoth ladies provided excellent customer service...They took our order, brought our food, and answered any questions we had during our visit...The food here is second to none and I would definitely recommend anyone try it...Vegetarian options: The stir fry dishes are best for people who don't consume meat. Most of them don't come meat unless you ask for it...“
“Ordered from Pastrami Champ. Food is good. Strange way of ordering and picking up but it works. Pastrami is delicious. Loved that even though online ordering all my specifications and request were followed. Very filling, not cheap with the portions either.“
“We tried the vegetarian banh mi and vegetarian Vietnamese burrito. It was tasty but the banh mi was probably the smallest one I’ve ever seen next to the ones served at Disneyland. The burrito dipping sauce is tasty but NOT vegetarian. It looks like the base for the pho is also beef based. Parking is street or in the lot that is small.“
“I had an outstanding dinner in this restaurant. Authentic Thai food , great portions and friendly staff . I truly enjoyed my evening . The ice-cream was homemade. This is spicy chicken eggplant. Banana ice creamVegetarian options: I ordered tofu and veggie curry to go as well . So I made two meals .“
“4-star review only because I believe there’s always room for improvement. I couldn’t be happier with this fantastic little gem right on PCH. I heard a lot of great things about this place and it didn’t disappoint. I got the Pad Thai (amazing) with shrimp, Pad See Ew ? with Chicken and a Thai Iced Tea. ?very happy, next time you’re passing down PCH stop on in, they won’t disappoint :)Parking: Easy.“
“I’m visiting my daughter and her fiancé in Santa Monica and we dined at RIZE Thai and Sushi tonight! It was DELICIOUS! I ordered the Won Ton Soup and it was THE BEST WON TON SOUP…I’ve ever had. There were too many delicate tasty won tons in the soup to count. And to my Surprise , there was also chicken and Shrimp. My daughter’s fiancé ordered the Papaya Salad! It was soooooo so fresh and a huge serving. My daughter ordered some salmon rolls and she commented how fresh the salmon was.The icing on the cake was the YUMMY LOLLIPOPS for dessert!“
“I had the shrimp and pineapple fried rice. 5 stars for the portions. 4 stars for the food. The shrimp was pretty bland but the rice was good. Orange chicken was delicious. We all had a decent amount of leftovers because the portion sizes were large. Prices were relatively decent. The shrimp fried rice was $13 ish for a large portion.“
“This place is very authentic. The location of this restaurant, may have you doubting the food. The place is very clean, and well updated. They accept all your plastic cards and cash fyi. The cashier was so wonderful to my children and I. We told her it was our first time so she helped with their most popular choices.the shrimp fried rice and their pad Thai is . And that's all you need shrimp fried rice and some shrimp pad Thai and a 2 coca colas .lovated in the wonderful freeway city of Gardena“
“Tara Thai Restaurant in Redondo Beach, California is a gem! The owner, a delightful lady, offers impeccable customer service. If you find yourself on this side of town, it's a must-visit for some truly authentic Thai food. Their menu boasts a wide variety of dishes, from classic Pad Thai to flavorful curries and stir-fries. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal or a special night out. Don't miss out on this fantastic dining experience!“
“The pad Thai was good, although the noodles were a bit thinner than expected. The crab fried rice was also filling and delicious. However the start of the show was the mango sticky rice and the Thai iced tea!! Service was also so nice and attentive!“
