“I walked into a small restaurant and was greeted by the owner who was very polite and accommodating, it was clean and atmosphere was welcoming. I ordered Yellow Curry w/chicken & Pad Si Ew Noodles with beef to go, I was asked to have a seat and about 12-15 mins later the food was ready to go. The yellow curry was tasty but I tend to have very high standards when it comes to curry. It was more than adequate but it could have been spicier and to be honest, I’ve had better and worse. However, the Pad Si Ew Noodle with beef was AWESOME! It was so delicious and perfectly balanced. I would definitely come back just for this dish 😋“

Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. “A small place packed filled with roasted duck deliciousness! The duck is tender with crispy skin and is accompanied by your choice of rice or jade noodles. I usually prefer jade noodles, but since they come stand alone topped with crispy garlic, it is a little bland if you do not douse it in the sauces that come with the duck and veggies. I think the rice would have made a tastier meal and would not feel disjointed. I also tried the spicy basil duck which was okay. The crab rolls are amazing. Overall, the duck was the star of the show snd worth the visit alone. You can get a half duck for two or a whole duck for a bit more of a bargain. Staff will also give you a cash/zelle price which will be less than a card price for your meal. There’s a couple small tables inside, counter seating, and a few more tables outside. Staff are nice and attentive.“

“One of the best Thai food I had in LA. We had a group of 9 and the servers were very accommodating to get us a table. The food was awesome- we ordered Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Box of Prawns, Rainbow rice, crusted Salmon and Hot Mermaid. The food came out quickly and the service was great.“

“feedback regarding my recent visit to your Gardena location on Father's Day. I traveled all the way from Orange County specifically to try your mango sticky rice.

While I found the mango sticky rice to be good, I felt the price was a bit higher than other places I have visited, and I likely wouldn't make the long drive solely for that dish again. On a positive note, I really enjoyed the coconut jellies; the flavor was great and the size was satisfying, though I believe the pricing for those could also be improved.

Even their Thai Tea was one of the best I've had in recent memories. The Shrimp fried rice had the perfect amount of fire taste: not too overpowering and not too subtle which was perfect. The amount was perfect as well: the thing was heavy for just one order. The Spicy BBQ also came with a dipping sauce that was very unique; it was citrous-y and fishy and it wasn't like anything I've tasted before which was amazing! “I finally checked out Summer Buffalo after my sister kept raving about it had to see what the hype was about! I ordered the tofu pad Thai with extra sauce and the mango sticky rice.
The pad Thai was solid the extra sauce definitely helped. The mango sticky rice was good but I wish it was juicier? Maybe a bit more of the coconut sauce could’ve made it less dry. That said, the space itself is really cute dark, cozy, with a nice ambiance. And the staff is SO sweet and welcoming. Seriously, thank you for being so kind!

“I came here on a rainy afternoon with no expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted so warmly. And then the food came.

You know that scene in Ratatouille at the end of the movie when the big food critic takes a bite and gets that flashback to his childhood? That warm, comforted, happy feeling? That’s exactly how this food made me feel.

It was hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life. Every bite tasted like real family, home-cooked love not just restaurant food.

The service was incredible. The woman there packed up my leftovers for me (something even a lot of “nice” restaurants don’t do), opened the door when I left, and even offered to let me borrow an umbrella because it was still raining.

If you want authentic, family-style Thai food that makes you feel something, this is the spot.

“I had the Salmon Kra Pow which was amazing. My partner had the Smiling Tiger and really enjoyed it. His sister brought us here and said she loved the food. She is vegan and had Pad See Ew with tofu.

Food is always good here but service sometimes can be lacking a bit if they get very busy. We got basil chicken and green curry here and both were very good. However , they missed the mark with their dessert serving - Mango with Sticky rice. The mangoes were sour and that completely derailed the dessert.

We came here with the red dinning book 📕. Got two entrees and an appetizer for 2 people, koi soi, tiger prawn curry and raw scallops. The koi soi is actually a pasta, so it was quite a surprise to me, there is no soup in the dish. The curry in the tiger prawn dish is full with prawn roe sauce, very rich.
