“Always a favorite spot to go have Thai food. Very generous servings as always. And the food is just delicious and not greasy. Service is quick and smooth. It's nice to know they are still operating, despite Covid-19 times. Must try. Hidden gem in the hood.UPDATE: Just came to Jaruwan expecting to have a great meal as always. But unfortunately I was extremely dissatisfied this time around. So much that I don’t think I would come back to eat Thai food anymore. I ordered 2 drunken noodles with beef extra spicy, Philadelphia wontons, a strawberry lemonade and a raspberry iced tea. The noodles were super over cooked that they would break apart, the sauce was barely there. So overall the main dish was not good at all. I didn’t even bring home my leftovers this time. The wontons were better, just super stuffed with cream cheese. So I don’t know I take back my previous review. Total let down, I don’t know what went wrong with this place. It is definitely not the same.“

“Fun time at kinkan! We had the where are we going tasting menu which was cool to experience and learn anout each dish and how the chef came up with it. The head chef was not in town that day so the sous was serving us. The best dishes were the ama ebi, tuna tartare, and ceviche! All of the staff was very kind tooUnfortunately one of the items was substituted with bolognese which was disappointing (supposed to be uni pasta). And the fish and chips (amaida, matsutake) and crab fried rice was not impressive for this price point. I think it was great experience but food didn’t feel worth it in the end so I would not go back a second time.Parking: Small parking lot, handful of spaces“

“We really liked the food! Both got noodles, one street noodle with chicken and one pad see ew with chicken. Prices are super reasonable and the food tastes good, especially compared to some of the other options in the area. Excited to try more of their food. Chill music and good service. Nice casual option.“

“Angela is an amazing host. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The place is warm and full of life and the food is amazing. Probably the best Thai you can find anywhere within 50 miles! The homemade cilantro hot sauce should be bottled and sold. I would drink that by itself.Parking: Big lot nearby.“

“My colleagues and I stopped by here for lunch, mainly because I wanted to try their boat noodles! I love boat noodles and would love to try every Thai place that offers it so I can compare! This place is alright. The broth is pretty thick and dense, I think there's a lot of pork blood in the broth for flavor. Overall it has a good flavor and they don't offer a combo bowl, the default is just beef and if you want to add like tripe it's an addition. Their tripe is very well clean. The noodle was okay, they don't have big noodle and the small noodle was alright. My other colleagues got something else and they liked their food! Overall it was good.“

“Holy Basil is instant comfort that teleports you home. The dishes are flawlessly executed and the flavors are consistently on point. The vibe of this hidden gem reminds you of your family’s kitchen and I feel like a kid again full of excitement from the escaping aromas. I lean heavy into firing the menu family style and always look forward to memorable meals shared. Their take out withstands LA traffic to the far away land of Santa Monica. Service is hands down the friendliest in town.“

“Wonderful! Highly recommend this restaurant. The orange chicken, jasmine rice and spinach was amazing and the chicken was tasty and tender. We also ordered the milk fried chicken, rice noodles, and power greens which was equally amazing. The staff were very nice and attentive.“

“Best thai place I had in awhile. Great value. I had the beef satay and my wife had the chicken satay. Beef satay is bomb. I recommend the cucumber salad over the papaya salad. It had a subway veggies type of taste. My wife is picky and ended up loving it. Be here soon again. 17 bucks average meal.“

“Fabulous restaurant and loved sitting at the kitchen counter watching all the action. The food was spectacular and watching the efficiency on how the Chef directed everyone was amazing. Having worked in the industry for 15 years and personally having managed restaurants, I was still blown away.“

“We came on a Sunday, it is somewhat busy. The location has a few small Thai stands. We ordered the mango sticky rice coconut cakes and green onion coconut cakes. They are $10 ( each has around 8 pieces ).The coconut cakes are sweet , creamy and flavorful, they made it right in front of you so they come out warm. The mango is sweet and not sour so we are satisfied. Remember to bring cash cause they accept cash & zelle. After they take your order, they give you a ticket and they make your food. You just need to bring that ticket to get your food. The wait is around 25 minutes for the food, and there are 3 long tables next to the stand so you can eat there. We walk around the Thai grocery store across the coconut cake stand when waiting for food.It is a nice place to experience some Thai coconut cakes! Would recommend this place.“

“Unique menu with lots of variety, wonderful staff, and sweet atmosphere. You find a table and the order at the counter to have dishes brought to you. The staff is very accommodating for vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free preferences. Some items are marked as such and you can ask for modifications of most dishes when you order. Loved all the drink options, with the choice of adding boba and swapping for non-dairy milk too. I found free street parking on Lucerne. Looking forward to returning.Vegetarian options: Very accommodating for vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free preferences. “I've been here a few times, and in these times, I've had the lunch special. It was price well. It comes with a drink of your choice, which I had Thai Ice Tea. It also comes with a salad and 2 dumplings. I would recommend this place.“

“Best Thai food anywhere nearby, bar none! Owner and his wife serve you personally, make recommendations and cook some of the best food I've ever had. Standard dishes like pad Thai or fried rice with crispy pork or spicy green beans and beef, are made to perfection. They will accommodate allergies ( my wife is allergic to nuts) or whatever level of spice you are comfortable with. You need to try this food“

“This is a long-overdue review! I've been coming here for the past two years, and without a doubt, this is my favorite Thai restaurant ever. The coziness of it makes me feel like I'm dining at my auntie's house. The customer service is exceptional, and the chefs are consistently amazing. If you're searching for a new restaurant to try, please add this to your list. It's our favorite place.“

“Oh my god. I don't normally leave reviews but I just ordered delivery from here and I had to. This is the best Thai food I've had in LA. Period. I got the Pad See Ew (See You Again, for sure), Basil Crispy Chicken Wings and Thai Iced Tea. SO GOOD. The Pad See Ew is so flavor packed. The beef and noodles are cooked to perfection, I LOVE the way the tofu is cooked. I am so picky about tofu, this is perfectly fried and sized, crispy on the outside and not dry on the inside. AMAZING. I LOVE LOVE LOVE vinegar chili and am soooooooo happy these came with the dish on the side, definitely ordering extra next time! The chicken wings are SO crispy and flavorful. Holy cow. Thai iced tea not too sweet or too milky, literally perfect. Compliments to the chef!!! I've tried every Thai place and had given up on finding anything that is worth ordering. I am SO glad I took a shot. I can finally order Thai weekly again :') ORDER FROM HERE YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!! I can't wait to try everything on the menu. You can tell the chef cares about every dish that's prepared, high quality and not just thrown together. So happy!!!“

“This is a good place to come it. There is a big parking lot to park your car. There was a lot of room to sit and eat. The food was good. The orange chicken seemed a bit hard. The outer part of the orange chicken felt crunchy. I like my orange chicken when it is soft. It was ok. The salad and rice were great. The egg roll was good, too. The Thai tea was ok, too. $17.63 for this meal was good. I appreciate the service. Thank you so much. ?.“

“I've been here several times for a quick meal. It's definitely more of a "mom & pops" shop. Their pricing is much more affordable, considering the rising costs of everything. I had the #5. ½ chicken teriyaki & short ribs. Also requested double mac, not a fan of the salad. The taste of the chicken and ribs were great. I love the taste like it's been cooked over a hot grill. This place gets very busy at times, my best suggestion would be to phone in your order. They do not accept card payments, CASH ONLY.“

“I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was spotless and inviting, and the staff were warm and welcoming. “I love this place! I've ordered to-go a couple of times, and both times, the hostess was friendly and took my order right away. My favorites are the Lowl Bhu Mah and the Naked shrimp salads. Both salads are really delicious, refreshing, and spicy good (3 chilies for me). The packing to-go was spill free when I got home, and that's a good thing. The only reason I gave them 4 stars was because I ordered the chicken wings, and they were teeny tiny and flavorless. But, overall, Isaan Station is my favorite Thai restaurant. Nom nom!!“

“I've been coming to this restaurant for years and it never disappoints. I'm writing another review since I don't know what happened to the one I wrote years ago when they first opened. My go to dish here is the chicken ka-pao (my all time favorite Thai dish). I've tried their other dishes too which were all good. I haven't been disappointed yet. Love their sticky rice with mango as well! This restaurant is small and cozy (with only a few tables if you want to dine in). There are only a few parking spots at the back of the restaurant, so parking can be challenging (no parking at the Flame Broiler lot or you may be towed). The staff are super friendly as well. I will definitely continue to patronize this establishment.“

“I LOVE Thai food, and this place is always my go-to spot! I usually walk in on weekday afternoons to order their lunch specials, which are an amazing deal. There's a lot to choose from, and the portion sizes are fantastic for the price. I have never dined inside the restaurant (always takeout during my work break), but just from the looks it is extremely clean and well maintained. The ambiance inside is very nice, perfect for a date night. The staff are always friendly and very welcoming with a warm smile. My favorite thing about this restaurant is how consistent they are with the quality of their food. I often order some of the same items, and they come out hot and perfect every single time. I feel very confident whenever I recommend this restaurant to my friends, because I know they will have a delicious meal. My favorite things to order are the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Panang Curry, and the Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp. I've also tried a lot of their other items, and every single one is delicious. I would also recommend the Thai Fried Rice, Nayada Wraps, Yellow Curry, and Tantalizing Eggplant. If I could, I would give this place more than 5 stars. I crave Thai food very often because it is one of my favorite cuisines. This place hits the spot every single time. I love this restaurant, and I wish them a very successful business. I will be ordering from them again very soon. Hopefully next time I will have the chance to dine inside.“

“Hey Foodies ❤️ if you're looking for a place where Thai meets seafood in a bag, Nine Seafood Restaurant is where it's at. Best time to go before things really get jumping on a Saturday is about 4/4:30pm. After that you will blink and see half the place start to fill up. When I came in I was greeted, and ask to hang out for my table to be prepped. Just a few minutes and away we go. The customer service by far is a 10 double ++ for those of you who are not used to being tended too, asking if you need anything during your time at an eating establishment you are in for a treat. The host, server, etc were very sweet and sincere. To the food.....I'm sorry my tastebuds just had a flashback. Where do I start? The flavors were bold and complimented one another something fierce, I had a Brazilian Carnival going on in my mouth. We started with the Edamames with a cajun seasoning. I was stuck here a while, even when our food came i was still going through them. Next was the curry. The yellow curry was rich, smooth with chunky potato and big juicy shrimps. I poured this delectable treat over my seafood fried rice which sent me to another dimension of tastebud euphoria. The class, mussels, shrimp, crab was just mmmmm mmm. Finally we had the Pad See Ew Combo with flat noodles, Broccoli and egg yummy. I mixed this in with the yellow curry, can somebody give me a ride home because I feel a food coma coming. Absolutely loved every dish presented, this hidden gem is a golden nugget. I wish them much success, blessings and favor to the employees and management of this establishment in Jesus name for your work shall not be in vain. May your fruits continue to bear in and out of season.“

“First time trying it this weekend and I ordered a pound of shrimp with some cajun fries and LET ME TELL you! They will forever have me as a customer. This was literally better than Boiling Crab and other places I have been too. Their seasoning is so garlicy which I love and plus their customer service is on point. Their shrimp are so big and easy to peel. You can def taste the freshness of the food. They were so nice and were asking us if we needed anything. I am so happy I gave this place a chance plus I live a few mins away so I will be here very often. Thank you so much!“
