“First time trying it this weekend and I ordered a pound of shrimp with some cajun fries and LET ME TELL you! They will forever have me as a customer. This was literally better than Boiling Crab and other places I have been too. Their seasoning is so garlicy which I love and plus their customer service is on point. Their shrimp are so big and easy to peel. You can def taste the freshness of the food. They were so nice and were asking us if we needed anything. I am so happy I gave this place a chance plus I live a few mins away so I will be here very often. Thank you so much!“

The noodles were super over cooked that they would break apart, the sauce was barely there. So overall the main dish was not good at all. I didn’t even bring home my leftovers this time. The wontons were better, just super stuffed with cream cheese. So I don’t know I take back my previous review. Total let down, I don’t know what went wrong with this place. “Fun time at kinkan! We had the where are we going tasting menu which was cool to experience and learn anout each dish and how the chef came up with it. The head chef was not in town that day so the sous was serving us. The best dishes were the ama ebi, tuna tartare, and ceviche! All of the staff was very kind tooUnfortunately one of the items was substituted with bolognese which was disappointing (supposed to be uni pasta). And the fish and chips (amaida, matsutake) and crab fried rice was not impressive for this price point. “My colleagues and I stopped by here for lunch, mainly because I wanted to try their boat noodles! I love boat noodles and would love to try every Thai place that offers it so I can compare! This place is alright. The broth is pretty thick and dense, I think there's a lot of pork blood in the broth for flavor. Overall it has a good flavor and they don't offer a combo bowl, the default is just beef and if you want to add like tripe it's an addition. Their tripe is very well clean. The noodle was okay, they don't have big noodle and the small noodle was alright. My other colleagues got something else and they liked their food! Overall it was good.“

“We came on a Sunday, it is somewhat busy. The location has a few small Thai stands. We ordered the mango sticky rice coconut cakes and green onion coconut cakes. They are $10 ( each has around 8 pieces ).The coconut cakes are sweet , creamy and flavorful, they made it right in front of you so they come out warm. The mango is sweet and not sour so we are satisfied. Remember to bring cash cause they accept cash & zelle. After they take your order, they give you a ticket and they make your food. You just need to bring that ticket to get your food.The wait is around 25 minutes for the food, and there are 3 long tables next to the stand so you can eat there. We walk around the Thai grocery store across the coconut cake stand when waiting for food.It is a nice place to experience some Thai coconut cakes! Would recommend this place.“

“Oh my god. I don't normally leave reviews but I just ordered delivery from here and I had to. This is the best Thai food I've had in LA. Period. I got the Pad See Ew (See You Again, for sure), Basil Crispy Chicken Wings and Thai Iced Tea. SO GOOD. The Pad See Ew is so flavor packed. The beef and noodles are cooked to perfection, I LOVE the way the tofu is cooked. I am so picky about tofu, this is perfectly fried and sized, crispy on the outside and not dry on the inside. AMAZING. I LOVE LOVE LOVE vinegar chili and am soooooooo happy these came with the dish on the side, definitely ordering extra next time! The chicken wings are SO crispy and flavorful. Holy cow. “This is a good place to come it. There is a big parking lot to park your car. There was a lot of room to sit and eat. The food was good. The orange chicken seemed a bit hard. The outer part of the orange chicken felt crunchy. I like my orange chicken when it is soft. It was ok. The salad and rice were great. The egg roll was good, too. My go to dish here is the chicken ka-pao (my all time favorite Thai dish). I've tried their other dishes too which were all good. I haven't been disappointed yet. Love their sticky rice with mango as well! This restaurant is small and cozy (with only a few tables if you want to dine in). There are only a few parking spots at the back of the restaurant, so parking can be challenging (no parking at the Flame Broiler lot or you may be towed). The staff are super friendly as well. The flavors were bold and complimented one another something fierce, I had a Brazilian Carnival going on in my mouth. We started with the Edamames with a cajun seasoning. I was stuck here a while, even when our food came i was still going through them. Next was the curry. The yellow curry was rich, smooth with chunky potato and big juicy shrimps. I poured this delectable treat over my seafood fried rice which sent me to another dimension of tastebud euphoria. The class, mussels, shrimp, crab was just mmmmm mmm. Finally we had the Pad See Ew Combo with flat noodles, Broccoli and egg yummy. I mixed this in with the yellow curry, can somebody give me a ride home because I feel a food coma coming. Absolutely loved every dish presented, this hidden gem is a golden nugget.
