“Tried Sweet Rice at the Tokyo Central complex in Gardena and was pleasantly surprised as a vegetarian. While the menu doesn’t clearly list vegetarian options, I called ahead and they confirmed they can make yellow, red, and green curries vegetarian with no fish sauce. I ordered the yellow curry with potato and onion, and it was flavorful, comforting, and not too heavy. Chili oil on top added a nice kick. Others at the table enjoyed the curry noodle soup and wonton soup. Despite being Michelin Guide–listed, this is a very casual spot—order at the counter, relaxed seating, no formal dining—which makes it easy and approachable. Parking right out front is a plus. Food is good value for money! Bowl Thai grill is next door (same owners) so you can sit there if the restaurant is full.“

“Had a nice dinner here at Bowl Thai. You order your food upfront like Rubio’s, and they bring your food to your table. We had their crab fried rice, the texture and seasoning was good it wasn’t dry. We also enjoyed the shrimp pad thai, and they were very generous with the shrimp. Will definitely be back to try other delicious dishes.“

“This little thai spot was amazing! I highly recommend it! The white fish was BOMB! the outer layer was crispy, inside was nice and moist, the curry sauce was a perfect combo! If you like seafood this is a must order. We also go their green beans with beef and it was really good! Its a small place with indoor and outdoor dinning! Highly recommend it!“

I always place an order online for pick up and its always ready by the time I pick up. If you're craving Thai food and are near here I definitely would say to check it out.“

Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. “Unassuming restaurant, but once you enter your welcomed with nice music and great customer service. I ordered the shrimp fried rice. It was a bit of a mushy texture, like if you cook rice a tad too long. Flavor was pretty good, Hoisin sauce was definitely needed. Overall nice place. If in area and need a quick bite. Stop here to try some dishes or the 15 dollar lunch special.“

“This place is legit! Every dish was delicious and flavorful. Our waitress, First, was so kind helpful. We got the veggie fried rice, tom kha soup, crying tiger beef, and sticky rice with coconut ice cream. Highly recommend, if you get the chance, come eat here. You will be happy and full!“

“I've been eating here since I was around 12 years old. Raised in Torrance, this was my go-to-place for a dinner that just hits the spot. I love all the soup, noodle, and rice dishes, I think I've tried every chicken and vegetarian dish this place has to offer. I don't live in Torrance anymore, but whenever I come back to visit family I never fail to stop by here to eat, still tastes sooo good! What's also nice is the owner still recognizes me :) Overall great service and food!“

“My family and i love this place. Been coming here for years. Even though it doesnt say it. They are open on sundays from 12-8:30pm except the third sunday of the month. At the risk of exposing my to go to spot. This is a hidden gem for some authentic thai. We got a big family and get the pad thai, pad see ew, pineapple curry (i always order side noodles and make it into a ramen :P ), teriyaki chicken, veg. Fried rice, chow mein, pepper garlic, and the broccoli. Never disappointed.“

“Lovely service from the waitress. She was very sweet and hospitable. This location is ideal for 2 people. There’s only one large table in the center of the restaurant. We ordered the fried rice and added chicken. We also got the pad see ew and added beef. Both dishes were flavorful and delicious. The only disappointment were the crab ragoons. I’m used to a thicker cream cheese taste with the bits of crab and these had more of a liquid-ish cheese with bell peppers. In all fairness, I personally do not like bell peppers. The ragoons do not deter me from returning. I would definitely come back.“

“I think this is the only Thai place I can bring my parents to. No major complaints from them, which is a damn near impossible feat. Will need to come back to try the specialty dishes. None of the food was too sweet, salty, or greasy. Lovely atmosphere for a dinner. Plenty of parking.
