Charm Siam Reviews
amazing food and service! My husband and I used to live nearby and always came when it was Tai Silk. We now live in San Pedro but we'll be back for sure.
I love Padthai and Chicken satay which reminds me of Thailand. You guys need to try! I also like stirred fried eggplant with fried tofu. It kinda Chinese food. It’s very nice as well.

Charm Siam is a casual, home-y, and delicious local Thai spot in Alamitos Beach and north San Diego. The restaurant is an adorable, clean relaxed little neighborhood cafe with a bright and colorful menu. The price and the portion are very good, with generous portions and great customer services. The food is more like fusion than authentic for some, but everything is delicious. Highly recommended meals include the green curry, drunken noodles, curry noodle, pad see ew, and spicy green curry. The curry noodle has tender chicken and good flavor; the drunken noodles easily rank in the top three with a slightly darker sauce. The steamed gyoza is delicate and fragrant, while the salmon salad is delightful and crispy. The garlic beef with delicate rice noodles and khao soy with grilled chicken are remarkably flavorful. The seasonal mango and sticky rice may be the best version of that dish. Takeout is packed well and thoughtfully arranged. However, service can be disappointing, as some guests had to request utensils and plates. Overall, the restaurant offers lots of options, quick service, and a diverse menu that is highly recommended for a good dining experience.
