The kind of place only locals in the hood know about and frequent, far from the center of commerce, but quaint enough to be the epicenter of town. The food is super fresh. “Ty of Thai Thyme is an exceptional host. After dinner, he's rokk the time to greet our party and give us insights as to visiting Thailand. He was very nice and hospitable. But I digress, the FOOD was phenomenal! We ordered the Tom Ka soup, chicken curry, shrimp fried rice, beef pad Thai, chicken satay, and Thai ice teas. They have an extensive menu to choose from, and I’ve tried items from every category and enjoyed them all. Amazing thai tea and mango sticky rice! “This is my OG favorite Thai spot starting way back in 2007 when I moved to Pasadena! I recently went back to give it another try and it's as good as I remember, prices are now considered reasonable and even good especially the lunch specials, and everything still tastes fresh and high quality. Even some of the servers are still some of the original servers from 2007! They said they love working there. The inside is unique, used to be a wall of empty frames but they made it a bit more artsy but definitely eclectic! They also have if you dishes that are not straight tie but Singaporean or Malaysian. A lunch special for two and both of us getting one iced coffee and one Thai tea came out to a whopping ;-) $40. I think that's super reasonable for high quality Thai food and the drinks added $10. We came here with the red dinning book 📕. Got two entrees and an appetizer for 2 people, koi soi, tiger prawn curry and raw scallops. The koi soi is actually a pasta, so it was quite a surprise to me, there is no soup in the dish. The curry in the tiger prawn dish is full with prawn roe sauce, very rich.

The exterior is unassuming, but the inside is lovely!!! Very elevated inside. We really liked it. Clean, modern, fun, and unique.

We got the Eggplant Basil with tofu (options of steamed or fried tofu), Cashew with Chicken (very spicy), steamed rice, Crying Thaiger (delicious beef dish that was wonderfully prepared), and the chicken satay. All were lovely. We couldn’t decide which we enjoyed most!

There is plenty of complimentary street side parking in front of the restaurant. It is a large and busy street (Colorado). Be aware when getting in and out of your car!“

We tried the Spicy noodle dish with chicken which was tasty with a forgiving spice to it.

I got the chicken pad Thai and everything was so flavorful and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the yellow curry and it was absolutely amazing, rich and creamy with a coconut base that honestly reminded me of my mom’s Vietnamese curry.

“Finally got around to trying this little spot that opened up about a year and a half ago!
Ordered two Pad Thai and a Chicken Satay.
The Pad Thai was really tasty, And the server offered us a hot sauce that was SO GOOD! On top of the Pad Thai, it was even better. But the real star of the show was the chicken satay and peanut sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked, practically falling off of its skewer, tender and juicy and seasoning was on point!
A lot of people came in for order pickups, but I was surprised we were the only ones in the small dining room. Which was actually really nice on a busy Friday night everywhere else. Really glad we stopped in!“

“Delicious! We tried the Thai salads, (Mango 🥭and the one with Strawberry 🍓), Pad See Ew and Pad Thai with shrimp, chicken and egg tofu—everything was full of flavor and so good. I also loved the flavor on the morning glory—definitely another favorite!

The chicken wontons were great: hot, crispy, and perfectly cooked. And the Thai tea panna cotta? Delicious! 😋

A little warning: be careful with the spice level if you’re not used to heat—those Thai chilies are no joke! 🌶️🔥 🥭🍓
