“Thai food is a hit or miss ,and some better than others. So far Lucky Thai has been better than most, with a few drawbacks when then run out of product. All food is made fresh from my trips here. This establishment is inside the 168 Market and is very simple, small seating to eat there or you can have take out. Service takes a little time for prep in most cases, but worth the wait.“

“Ty of Thai Thyme is an exceptional host. After dinner, he's rokk the time to greet our party and give us insights as to visiting Thailand. He was very nice and hospitable. But I digress, the FOOD was phenomenal! We ordered the Tom Ka soup, chicken curry, shrimp fried rice, beef pad Thai, chicken satay, and Thai ice teas. “We spent a long weekend in Pasadena and at first chose this Thai place because it was just 5min walking from our rental cottage. They greeted us so friendly and accommodated our requests for items on the side. Then, the next day we came back here because everything was so flavorful! My husband had the crispy sole fish special and I enjoyed the glass noodles with shrimp. Exquisite!

“Rice Street Food was really tasty - everything was excellent! We had the sausage, egg rolls, and wings for appetizers, and for mains we had the Ancient Lad Thai Seafood, pineapple fried rice, and my son had the teriyaki chicken bowl. We finished with mango sticky rice for dessert. Everything hit the spot perfectly.

Only small thing was the owner took my cup for a water refill and never came back - we joked with him about it after. Wasn't a big deal at all, we just walked to the cooler and grabbed a soda lol. Will definitely be back!“

“We have been here three or four times and the service is always friendly. The food comes hot, it’s delicious, and they have gluten free options! A Thai place I can actually eat at!:) We love the casual atmosphere and will definitely be back.“

“This is my OG favorite Thai spot starting way back in 2007 when I moved to Pasadena! I recently went back to give it another try and it's as good as I remember, prices are now considered reasonable and even good especially the lunch specials, and everything still tastes fresh and high quality. Even some of the servers are still some of the original servers from 2007! They said they love working there. The inside is unique, used to be a wall of empty frames but they made it a bit more artsy but definitely eclectic! They also have if you dishes that are not straight tie but Singaporean or Malaysian. A lunch special for two and both of us getting one iced coffee and one Thai tea came out to a whopping ;-) $40. I think that's super reasonable for high quality Thai food and the drinks added $10. “Finally got around to trying this little spot that opened up about a year and a half ago!
Ordered two Pad Thai and a Chicken Satay.
The Pad Thai was really tasty, And the server offered us a hot sauce that was SO GOOD! On top of the Pad Thai, it was even better. But the real star of the show was the chicken satay and peanut sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked, practically falling off of its skewer, tender and juicy and seasoning was on point!
A lot of people came in for order pickups, but I was surprised we were the only ones in the small dining room. Which was actually really nice on a busy Friday night everywhere else. Really glad we stopped in!“

“Came here to try a new Thai spot after going to President Thai down the street for years and wanting something different. We ordered from the dinner menu, which comes with soup or salad, egg rolls or wontons, and white rice or shrimp fried rice, a great value.

I got the chicken pad Thai and everything was so flavorful and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the yellow curry and it was absolutely amazing, rich and creamy with a coconut base that honestly reminded me of my mom’s Vietnamese curry.

The owner was also incredibly kind and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Such a welcoming experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!“

“Delicious! We tried the Thai salads, (Mango 🥭and the one with Strawberry 🍓), Pad See Ew and Pad Thai with shrimp, chicken and egg tofu—everything was full of flavor and so good. I also loved the flavor on the morning glory—definitely another favorite!

“Our family has adored coming to this lovely Thai restaurant tucked away in Azusa! The service is always fast and friendly in a cozy atmosphere. The food is incredible! There is something on the menu for everyone! My favorite offering is the green curry tofu - they ask you which spice level you'd like... If you crave a flavorful kick - they will not disappoint! This pairs well with garlic string beans or sir fried fresh ginger, onion, mushroom and carrot. “Red Chicken Thai is a small corner Thai food spot in San Gabriel Valley. They have a breadth of food and drink items. Its interior was modest with little to no aesthetic decor.

However, the atmosphere was relaxing for customers. Their dining area have 8 tables that can accommodate thirty people. It was my first time visit and I had a default Pad Woon Sen x Iced Lemon tea. Both are good in taste, flavor and portion. Service was spot on as well as the price (affordable). Staff was competent and attentive. Plenty of street and rear parking. Collectively, this is a good Thai spot.

“I felt so compelled to write a review for this restaurant because it was so dang good! I went here during my lunch and ordered spicy pad Thai with chicken (not fried chicken). I asked if the noodles were rice based (as I have a gluten allergy). They triple checked just to make sure. I really appreciate that they were very careful before starting my order.

Once I got my lunch, I was in heaven. The spice levels weren’t high, which is probably a good thing as I had to go back to work. I would ask them to make it spicier if you’re looking for that kick. Everything is fresh and one order of pad Thai was enough for two. But I was starving and I loved the dish so much that I finished it all.

I hope they have mango sticky rice next time I go (they were out of it when I was there). I will gladly return. I want to try everything on their menu, including their boba teas. Thank you for your kind service and delicious food!!

Side note: I didn’t realize this was a Thai food place because their banner has a bigger font for “Fried Chicken”whereas their “Thai food” font is way smaller. I’m glad I took my chance because i was pleasantly surprised to enter a Thai restaurant that also serves fried chicken meals.“
