“just moved nearby and was looking for a tai restaurant. My wife and I thought it was a but odd at forst to learn it was inside a market but it was right when you walk in and they have a nice set up. “I used to always drive all the way to Thai Town for authentic Thai food, but I decided to try Kwan Kitchen since it recently opened near my house. It was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Tom Yum Goong and Pad Thai, and both were amazing. I’m so glad I don’t have to make that long drive anymore. This place is delicious 😋 😍. I have 2 other favorite Thai restaurants I love and this is now one of them. We had the Beef salad, Pad See Ew woth chicken, and the Pinaple Curry with tofu.

“We tried this Thai restaurant for the first time, and our experience was amazing! The taste and quality of the food were excellent. Our favorite, the Tom Yum Soup, was absolutely delicious. We also tried the Spicy Basil Clams for the first time, and they were incredibly flavorful and mouthwatering. Overall, it’s a great restaurant if you enjoy authentic Thai food. “Red Chicken Thai is a small corner Thai food spot in San Gabriel Valley. They have a breadth of food and drink items. Its interior was modest with little to no aesthetic decor.

However, the atmosphere was relaxing for customers. Their dining area have 8 tables that can accommodate thirty people. It was my first time visit and I had a default Pad Woon Sen x Iced Lemon tea. Both are good in taste, flavor and portion. Service was spot on as well as the price (affordable). Staff was competent and attentive. Plenty of street and rear parking. Collectively, this is a good Thai spot.

“Our family has adored coming to this lovely Thai restaurant tucked away in Azusa! The service is always fast and friendly in a cozy atmosphere. The food is incredible! There is something on the menu for everyone! My favorite offering is the green curry tofu - they ask you which spice level you'd like... If you crave a flavorful kick - they will not disappoint! This pairs well with garlic string beans or sir fried fresh ginger, onion, mushroom and carrot. Ordered two Pad Thai and a Chicken Satay.
The Pad Thai was really tasty, And the server offered us a hot sauce that was SO GOOD! On top of the Pad Thai, it was even better. But the real star of the show was the chicken satay and peanut sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked, practically falling off of its skewer, tender and juicy and seasoning was on point!
A lot of people came in for order pickups, but I was surprised we were the only ones in the small dining room. Which was actually really nice on a busy Friday night everywhere else. Really glad we stopped in!“

“Great mom & pop Thai spot! We used to love President Thai, but it's better for big groups, not so good for small family meals. This is solid standard neighborhood Thai restaurant. Very understated, interior is run down, service can be slow when busy because it's family owned, not too many folks working or helping out. But the food is amazing, above par. Definitely want to support this place because President Thai and Banana Bay were not cutting it.“

“Been to many Thai restaurants in the are since moving back home and by far Tantawan is the best. Food is delicious, generous portions, and the staff is amazing. I had to wait a bit and the employee gave me a thai tea for the wait.“

“I felt so compelled to write a review for this restaurant because it was so dang good! I went here during my lunch and ordered spicy pad Thai with chicken (not fried chicken). I asked if the noodles were rice based (as I have a gluten allergy). They triple checked just to make sure. I really appreciate that they were very careful before starting my order.

Once I got my lunch, I was in heaven. The spice levels weren’t high, which is probably a good thing as I had to go back to work. I would ask them to make it spicier if you’re looking for that kick. Everything is fresh and one order of pad Thai was enough for two. But I was starving and I loved the dish so much that I finished it all.

I hope they have mango sticky rice next time I go (they were out of it when I was there). I will gladly return. I want to try everything on their menu, including their boba teas. Thank you for your kind service and delicious food!!

Side note: I didn’t realize this was a Thai food place because their banner has a bigger font for “Fried Chicken”whereas their “Thai food” font is way smaller. I’m glad I took my chance because i was pleasantly surprised to enter a Thai restaurant that also serves fried chicken meals.“
