“High quality Thai food, consistently amazing, and the family is so kind. My fav! Get the the red curry or the special pad thai! Though all of it is great! I have done dine in and take out.Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten and dairy allergy and they suggest options when needed:)“
“All authentic whole in the wall with amazing food and service. I highly recommend!Papaya a salad is great, the Mint Leaf chicken is delicious, the curries are flavorful and pad Thai is yummy. Huge portions, reasonable, price and a foodies who loves thai foods favorite in arcadia and surrounding towns.“
“We had a great time getting together at this cozy restaurant. This is the second time coming here. The food was outstanding again, so good. We got two different curry soups, BBQ pork fried rice, curry salmon, and everyone enjoyed all of it. The server was very nice and accommodating. We stayed and had longer and talked, feeling comfortable. Definitely will be coming back. In fact, I can't wait.“
“Nestled in the vibrant culinary scene of Arcadia lies a hidden gem, a haven for Pad Thai enthusiasts—this Thai restaurant is a testament to authentic Thai flavors in the heart of the city. From the first step inside, the ambiance captures the essence of Thailand, adorned with traditional décor and vibrant colors that transport diners to the lively streets of Bangkok. However, the true star of the show is their Pad Thai—a dish that surpasses expectations and sets a new standard. The Pad Thai here is nothing short of exceptional. The balance of flavors, from the tangy tamarind to the subtle sweetness of palm sugar, dances harmoniously on the taste buds. The dish is elevated further by the skillful preparation of fresh ingredients, whether it's the perfectly cooked noodles or the generous servings of succulent shrimp or tofu. Every bite is a symphony of textures and tastes, leaving a lingering desire for more.Apart from the Pad Thai, the menu offers an array of traditional Thai dishes, each prepared with equal finesse and authenticity. The attentive and knowledgeable staff are keen to guide patrons through the menu, enhancing the overall dining experience. For anyone seeking an authentic Thai culinary journey or simply craving an unforgettable Pad Thai, this restaurant in Arcadia is a must-visit. It's a culinary adventure that encapsulates the very best of Thai cuisine.“
“Food is good. I ordered a few of the different lunch specials. Added side of egg rolls. Everything was delicious and healthy. Nice clean dining area and love that they wheel a cart next to your table so you can help yourself to condiments, etc. Nice neighborhood/ family run business.“
“Beautiful decor, above and beyond service and some of the best Thai food I've had, for sure!I ordered the seafood Tom Kha, two egg rolls and a whole coconut. Everything was piping hot! (Except the coconut of course lol.) The egg rolls were nicely crispy and had a good flavor and nice dipping sauce. I asked for the soup to be mild-to-medium spicy and it came out perfectly spicy! It had the perfect balance of creamy, sour, sweet and spicy elements, which complexity of flavors Thai cuisine is so famous for. The seafood was all cooked perfectly, very tender and not even a bit tough or rubbery. And the coconut was great too! Just your typical Thai coconut.Overall definitely in my top 3 Thai restaurants I've ever been to (out of at least around 50).“
“We love coming to this place for a Thai cuisine! I would say the service rates three out of five since they are so busy, and take quite a while to get you seated. However it's doesn't come as a surprise, the food is amazing. Typically always pair my curry or the pad sew with one of there Thai iced tea. Overall, this is the best Thai spot in Rosemead area. Atmosphere is cozy but definitely on the loud side your looking for a romantic spot this wouldn't be it. You“
“Really good food, got the chicken teriyaki and my husband got the half bbq chicken & half beef combo! It was a lot of food and so good! Their drinks are so cheap and yummy I got the Thai tea boba! Service is amazing they are so sweet and nice! Can't wait to come back.“
“This place was packed, every table was occupied and yet the service was still outstanding and friendly. Food was served relatively quickly as well. I had the red curry with chicken and Jasmine rice and it was delicious, lots of flavor even with only one star spice. The table next to me ventured with 4 star spice and the gentleman was exclaiming how wonderfully spicy it was. Don't forget to save room for their mango sticky rice dessert, won't disappoint. This food hit the spot!“
“After an early appointment we found Cluck2Go by chance! So glad we stopped in because this hai nan chicken is wonderful! We were loyal Savoy Kitchen diners for a long long time but after having Cluck2Go, I had to break things off with Savoy! Although the meal comes on a paper plate, they give you a good serving of chicken and rice. We had the original hai nan chicken as well as the fried hai nan chicken. Both were delicious! The appetizer cucumbers was plentiful but was missing a bit of flavor. The fried chicken wings were good but the star of this place was hai nan chicken!“
“Ordered takeout from Beau Thai today and it was sooo good! They put my Thai Tea in a little to-go bag for the cup making it sooo easy to carry! I got pad thai and it came with two sauces, one tasted like sweet and sour and the other was chili sauce. I personally liked the sweet and sour one with the pad thai, I thought they paired really nicely! The chili sauce is really good on its own though. Definitely looking forward to trying more dishes! The inside was soooo cute as well! I think it would be such a cute date night place “
“This is by far the best Thai restaurant in the Greater Los Angeles area. The presentation of the food is always perfect, they use the freshest ingredients, and the staff is great. We can order the same dish every time & it always tastes amazing. We will literally order too much food just so we can have left overs... can't get enough of Yum Zaap!“
“A small neighborhood "gem," with the tastiest Thai food. The menu offers a wide range of food(s) and beverage. The food is prepared meticulously with very fresh ingredients and food presentation is impressive. We ordered many dishes and shared family style, to sample the various flavor nuances to each dish -- All were delicious. Very affordable, with prices ranging from $9.00-$25.00 per dish“
“First time there and First time eating Thai food. It was delicious. We had a family of 14 show up and everyone loved the food. I had the BBQ Pork and som had the Orange chicken. Also a side order of pineapple rice and mom had the veggies soup with chicken. I also ordered the chicken egg rolls. Service was excellent but slow seeing that she was short staffed on a Sunday. I highly recommend this place. I will be going back! The only bad thing is there is no restroom...Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entry and Access.“
“Hello! Well being that I have gone to Thailand, I think my review will be valid. First things first is the welcome value 5 stars. The most sincere and pleasant staff. Service time above average. Plating was very visually appealing. Had the lunch special eggplant. Was cooked to my perfection. Overall what was most important was the smiles. That is what made the experience a full star rating.“
“A very small Thai restaurant but great food. There isn't a very big parking lot in the back but you can find parking nearby on the streets. There also isn't many tables inside so that is why the wait times get so long. Luckily, we came at a good time and didn't have to wait. The employees are friendly and have good service too.We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, chicken satay, khao soi. The satay was okay but I really liked the pad thai and pad see ew. However, the portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price. One dish is barely enough for one person. But I guess the size is good for trying different dishes with friends.“
“We stopped by for a quick dinner on our first day in east LA. We had the orange chicken, kung Pao combination, jasmine and brown rice with iced green tea. The portions were large, food was delicious, hot, and the service friendly. It was a great start to the week.“
“Excellent food! A wonderful family run restaurant. My whole family goes crazy for their crab Rangoon and shrimp and veggie tempura. The golden shrimp dumpling curry is also amazing. They just expanded the menu, very excited to try more dishes. Have never been disappointed, and very friendly staff and owners!Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes can be made with tofu“
“Singkawang is one of my go-to authentic Indonesian restaurant that I frequent whenever I'm in the area. My favorite dishes are the Sambal Sticky Beans and Shrimp, as well as the Curry Laksa, both are spicy and flavorful. Nasi Padang and Red Curry is just average.“
“"Hidden gem" definitely describes Eden Thai. It's an unassuming little restaurant, but absolutely worth supporting. The food is great for the price (the pineapple fried rice is my personal favorite), and they have free delivery available. The owners are very sweet as well. Now that the pandemic is over, this place deserves a good update in interior decor to really get people to come in and stay for indoor dining!“
“Absolutely loved Oba! Came for my daughter's birthday and the service was amazing, the food was fresh and delicious, and everyone that works there is so nice and kind! My favorite dishes were the chirashi bowl, jalapeño yellowtail, garlic noodles, sashimi plate, shrimp tempura and red curry! It's so great to be able to pick from a Japanese and Thai menu! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!!“
“I really like this place. When I want Thai. I try to hold off until I can come here. Good service. Good food. I like spicy food but I can't handle it, and their mild level is just enough spiciness so I can still enjoy the food but still feel like I need a good amount of water! My toddler likes their food and that's a high bar. She'll happily eat their noodles, rice, and soup. The little restaurant was full when I stopped by today. I happen to catch a happy hour menu. For about $12 you get soup, salad, a wonton and egg roll and the entree from their options.Vegetarian options: Most dishes have a vegetarian alternative.Kid-friendliness: It is a small restaurant. But they will accommodate. Today I showed up with a stroller and a toddler. They had high chairs. They offered us plastic utensils for the kid. And we just overall nice about my kids.“
“I have been coming here often for the past three months because of how good the food is. The food in the pictures are the Pad Kee Mao, Thai fried rice, Chili & Lemon shrimp saap, and the Chili & Lemon chicken wing saap. The other dishes that are also very delicious are the Pad see ew, BBQ pork fried rice, teriyaki chicken plate and the Tom yum seafood soup. The flavor is great and the price is right. Highly recommend if you are in the area and would like some delicious food!!!Parking: Very limited but you can find street parking if you don’t mind walking“
“There’s something about Thai food where even when you don’t know what you want to eat, Thai food will always hit the spot, and so will Daisy Mint. I usually get the drunken noodle with shrimp, green curry with veggies, and the crying tiger.“
“Every time that I try a new Thai restaurant, I ask for a Pad Thai. The rationale is that if that staple of Thai cuisine is not well prepared, there is little else to look for in that place. Interestingly, the menu showed the dish prominently, calling it their signature dish. And, boy, they delivered! The flavor was so well balanced, and the noodles were rightly cooked, and with the right moisture, not the mess of sticky overcooked noodles you get some times. The accompanying Chinese eggplant was well prepared, too. 10/10.The same goes for the "fish" dish my wife had. Finally, the mango with sticky rice was sublime. The service was excellent. The seating is ok though.Vegetarian options: This is a vegan place“
“An intimate Thai eatery with nice date ambiance and elevated prices to match. Staff was friendly but not very attentive. Parking can be a bit hard to find on the street so your best bet is at the lots/garages nearby when it gets busy. Pretty small restaurant, could see there being a wait on the weekends. We came later on a Thursday night. Tried the Pearl summer roll, Thai fried rice, and green curry. The summer (spring?) rolls were incredibly overpriced, just a bunch of cheap salad ingredients wrapped in rice paper with (way too sweet) peanut sauce and mustard (???) on the side. Definitely skip! Thai fried rice was good but too sweet for my taste, I much prefer Nine & Nine's version (close by & cheaper). The green curry, though, was one of the best I've had in LA so far. I highly recommend. Really creamy and well flavored, with tender bamboo shoots, chicken, and veggies. And a nice spicy kick to finish! Would come back to try more of the curries.“
“Quaint place with Thai decor and good food. First time trying and their flavors are nice. I ordered a yellow curry. Not overly sweet and mild spicy was just right. Nice hot egg roll and salad with it, along with rice. I liked their tofu soup as well. Simple. Rice soup was also pretty tasty and this place has other dishes that are not the typical Thai menu items that people usually know about. The owner was nice and atmosphere too.“
“The food was exceptional! What really topped off our experience was the ambiance and the presentation in which the food was served. The good energy started as we were greeted at the door and continued through the whole visit. My wife and I got the Siam beach-club egg rolls as a starter and were served our entrees shortly after. One of the biggest things I notice when going out that makes or breaks my experience is the attentiveness of our server. 5/5 stars in that department! My wife dropped a knife, and she was over with a replacement as it hit the ground.I had the Malay Captains curry chicken (pictured below)My wife had the banana leaf chicken.Again, the presentation was outstanding, I definitely let out a few "whoa's" as the food was delivered. The owner was present as well and came by twice to ensure our satisfaction with our food and experience. We are coming back soon!Dietary restrictions: I was asked as we were seated if we had any dietary restrictionsParking: Underground garage and plenty of nearby street parking“
“Really nice Thai food here,so authentic, feels like we were back in Thailand enjoying the yummy food there. We tried the green curry, fried rice and a noodle with soup.Once I started tasting the food I told my husband that we must comeback again .“
“I feel like this place doesn't get enough love. We love coming here for their noodle dishes and for their soup and curries! Some of our favorites include the Khao-Soi, Panang Curry, Pad Thai, and PET (Pumpkin, Eggplant, Tofu). The service is always great and our stomachs always leave happy!! We've been here on a Friday night and they usually have tables. This place is definitely comparable to some places in Thai Town! If you live in the area, I would definitely recommend trying this place.“
“I've been to this place several times, and I love their Thai curry! If this place gets crowded, it does get a bit hectic, but that's just how good they are. Price range for each person could average between $15-20 since most of their items are around that price.Parking is near the back on the main street in a garage, but I would be careful if you try to leave your car to discover the area since they do close it. If you're not able to find parking in the garage, which has happened to me several times, parking on the street can be a bit difficult if you want to park close to the restaurant. Most times, I just park on the residential area so I can walk to my car after getting full.“
“Hello, my family and I have been coming here since 2011. We have all seen this restaurant develop and change. The staff get older and some move on, we enjoy and return to this local because of the familiar tastes and the blissful memories we all enjoyed here for many years. My grandmother, may she rest in peace. My parents prior to separationMy wife as we datedThe memories this restaurant gave use and the opportunity to connect it allotted us are irreplaceable. So, do I recommend? Yes! join our family in creating more memories and enjoy a bowl of chicken Tom kah with a side of jasmine rice and an a la carte beef broccoli dish mix them up and refresh yourself with an iced, Thai tea boba!We recommend it!May many more years of blessings come to us all.Dietary restrictions: Cooks are flexible, just ask - we have had to ask for accommodations before too, not a problem.Parking: You can park in the open lot or in the parking structureWheelchair accessibility: DP parking available“
“Honestly the best local Thai food spot in the highland park / el sereno area. Also closest spot I can get some Thai iced tea with boba to el sereno without having to head to south Pasadena so I appreciate that from them so much.Truly, this spot has always been solid and they've always been so nice every time i go in. It's a takeout spot more than anything even though there are seats -- and if you have the crave for anything, call and order takeout. Do it once a month at least.I've had the following and they've always been consistent and exactly what I wanted:Pad ThaiPad see ewGreen CurryYellow Curry Red CurryTom Kha“
“All the foods we ordered were good, especially the soft shell crab, that's why I ordered another one for to-go. The servers were very attentive for all your requests. Too bad I wasn't able to take pictures as we were so hungry and just dig in right away.“
“Bright interior and fast service. They serve both traditional Thai and offer a few interesting fusion twists on the classics, of which, the crispy hainan chicken was my favorite. Will return the next time I’m in the area to see what else is good.“
“Good food and awesome service! This place is a local staple here in Pasadena. Dine in or Carry out. My daughter and I grabbed lunch here with my grandson. They were so good about accommodating us with a 2 year old. Observed what appeared to be some regulars come in - obvious when they know your name.“
“The Fried Thai Basil rice was really good. I got Pad Thai (tofu, no eggs, xtra peanuts). It was pretty good, I think I would have liked it a tad spicier. Our server was really nice and place was clean. Tea wasn't the best, but there are other places in plaza to get that.“
“When you talk about food quality and the mere delicious taste, wow! This place is by far one of the best around. If you guys are around or close, try it! Don't be fooled by the surrounding buildings that look abandoned. Try it out. Amazing Thai food! Peppercorn Short ribs were astounding, drunken noodles were my favorite, papaya salad spicy but oh so tasty and some good classic fried rice! Highly recommend!“
“Best Thai food I've ever had. Their burgers are great, too. Best service ever! I highly recommend the Angry Chicken, Pad Kee Mao, and Beyond Burger.Update: This place just keeps getting better. They did such an amazing job helping cater a Harry Potter Party. Thanks so much!!!“
