“Me and my husband had been seeing this place for a long time Every time we would drive by savers , But never went in. We actually decided one night to go here for dinner. And it was amazing. I want to start off by saying the host was extremely nice. He went out of his way to make sure that I was happy and I got everything I wanted. He was not only nice but he even made sure he did the food exactly to perfection the way that I requested it the exact amount of spice. “My wife has the pad kee mao and I had the spicy crispy pork basil. Both were good, but not great.

At some Thai restaurants, the food all tastes the same and it doesn't really matter what you order. That certainly wasn't the case here. Both dishes were different and we enjoyed them. But they weren't spectacular. The flavors didn't pop and they weren't bright. I'm not sure what was missing, but something about them felt... Less than exciting.

I gave it 4 stars and would happily eat there again if I'm in the area. But it's not worth the drive from the intersection of the 10 & 57 freeways.“

“This restaurant is popping! I came on a Saturday night and it was completely full with 4 parties ahead of me, but I was seated in around 35 minutes.
I ordered the mama pot and the flavor was rich, spicy, and deep. Sort of a tom yum taste but heavier and creamier. The Pad See Ew and Pad Thai were very flavorful as well. The mango sticky rice was sweet and tasty, and the papaya salad was crunchy just the way I like it.
A couple things to pick on: the crispy pork was really dry and I had to keep it submerged in the soup to soften it up. The service can also be hard to flag down due to how busy it gets, but that’s more a matter of suffering from success lol.

They greeted us so friendly and accommodated our requests for items on the side. Then, the next day we came back here because everything was so flavorful! My husband had the crispy sole fish special and I enjoyed the glass noodles with shrimp. Exquisite!

“This is my OG favorite Thai spot starting way back in 2007 when I moved to Pasadena! I recently went back to give it another try and it's as good as I remember, prices are now considered reasonable and even good especially the lunch specials, and everything still tastes fresh and high quality. Even some of the servers are still some of the original servers from 2007! They said they love working there. The inside is unique, used to be a wall of empty frames but they made it a bit more artsy but definitely eclectic! They also have if you dishes that are not straight tie but Singaporean or Malaysian. A lunch special for two and both of us getting one iced coffee and one Thai tea came out to a whopping ;-) $40. I think that's super reasonable for high quality Thai food and the drinks added $10. “Food here is pretty good, esp since it's in Monrovia. The service is friendly but there's a tendency to not look my way. The parking is okay, as the place share a lot with at least 4 other eateries, sometimes it's kinda hard to find a spot. The atmosphere is just okay, a tad too crowded and too loud. It's not for a date night but pretty decent for a simple dinner out.“

“Came here to try a new Thai spot after going to President Thai down the street for years and wanting something different. We ordered from the dinner menu, which comes with soup or salad, egg rolls or wontons, and white rice or shrimp fried rice, a great value.

I got the chicken pad Thai and everything was so flavorful and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the yellow curry and it was absolutely amazing, rich and creamy with a coconut base that honestly reminded me of my mom’s Vietnamese curry.

The owner was also incredibly kind and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Such a welcoming experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!“

“Chili & Lemon Thai Cuisine is the BEST Thai in the area. I have ordered from them multiple times and just recently found out they have their own delivery driver (ONLY A $3 DELIVERY FEE!!) and party trays. Party trays are great as they really take down the price per person and it makes it more fun anyway! We got the 10-12 party tray and it easily fed 11 people + left overs. As this was for a birthday and I told the restaurant they very kindly threw in a sticky rice with mango which was delicious. The food (Pad See Ew) and crab wontons were all GREAT! Everyone was pleased with their meal. Not only that but they delivered promptly (15 minutes EARLY!) I would say they are a great options for a dinner party or for individual meals. Their staff who helped me Sun and one other lady, were extremely helpful and answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of them! I wish I had taken photos, sadly I did not.“

“This place is an absolute gem. Best thai food I've had in years. It may be the best Thai restaurant in LA in my humble opinion. Their green curry is as good as it gets. The eggplant in it was the best eggplant I've had in my life and I don't even like eggplants. I love eggplants now. Kad kee mao(?) is a tad bit spicy but nothing over the top. It's so flavorful and cooked to perfection. It's basically pad see yew on crack. Their crispy pork has the best balance between crispy and tender. I hesitated to leave this review because almost don't want this place to get too well-known so it doesn't get crowded but I also don't want them to ever go out of business. That would seriously break my heart.“

Overall, Trendy Thai offers an incredible combination of delicious food and excellent customer service.

“We are vegetarian and unfortunately we're served a soup with a chicken piece in it. Management rectified it immediately. Food was good minus that one incident and the young man with a moustache serving us was extremely professional and pleasant. We are from Houston and this was our first meal in LA. “I wouldn't say I'm a regular but I've eaten here on multiple occasions. Sometimes with coworkers during the happy hour lunch special. Other times with my husband on date nights. No matter the occasion or what I order it's always delicious and the service is friendly. Although I do switch it up every now and then, my go-to is the spicy duck salad. I'd recommend! Also, my husband and I came here for Valentine's Day this year and they gave us a complementary dessert, which was nice. And there is never any wait, at least from what I've seen. We're always seated and have our orders taken promptly.“

“I love love love the red curry. I’m a big fan of spicy 🌶️food and always get disappointed when I order my curry extra spicy and find it too mid, but not here. The curry is flavorful and the heat is there (if you like it that way). This is my go to for lunch for not only the flavor but value.“
