My friends and I got the Boat Noodle and Pad Thai, both were flawless with flavor you won’t get anywhere else. Warin Thai popped up on my search; it's a bit farther in Harbor City but I'm down for good food. It was my office's weekly lunch treat & needed to run an errand nearby, so it was perfect! Located across from Kaiser, off the corner of PCH & Normandie Ave., the restaurant sits on the far right corner of the Harbor Plaza 1. Parking is free, with limited spaces, & they are tight. I called in my order, & actually called a couple of times because I couldn't get through & wasn't sure if they were open. When I finally got through, a pleasant voice greeted me, took my order & repeated it before ending the call. Upon entry, I was greeted, my cc charged, & was out the door in a couple of mins. after snapping a few pics of the menu & dining room. The decor is plain, the tables were spaciously set apart (social distancing?), room was clean & organized during lunch rush. The round trip to/from my office was nearly 40-mins., & my lunch was surprisingly warm! The noodles were cooked to a perfect al dente, & sauced just enough to coat & nicely caramelized. I ordered tofu as the protein accompaniment, taking on the soy sauce flavors. The Chinese broccoli was also cooked just right; I just wished there was more of it. The lunch special also includes jasmine rice, green salad & crispy wonton. Nothing unusual about the salad, just your typical greens. It's a decent lunch portion, though I can't imagine what the regular looks like. I finished off with a serving of the classic mango sticky rice. It was absolutely delicious... & most satisfying!! Though the menu is compact, it contains the standards & then some. Decent portions, but you definitely get the bang for your buck here! Excellent & friendly service, though I had an issue getting through on the phone even past lunch rush (after 1:00 PM). I'm definitely game for more good eats here... a South Bay hidden gem that's waiting for you to discover! Recommended: Pad See Ewe Lunch Special, Mango Sticky Rice.“

“Our family of four came here while on v Our family of four went here for dinner as it was within walking distance of our hotel that we were staying at to go to Disneyland. We ordered the family meal named "La Tablita" as it had pork, steak and chicken with tortillas, veggies, cheese, guacamole and sour cream. My 11 year old daughter really enjoyed making a soft taco with steak and so did my 7 year old son. My wife had a pork taco and a steak and enjoyed them both and ate some chicken without a taco. My wife said the steak was the best. I had a taco with all three meats and enjoyed them all. I thought the chicken tasted the best. We all really enjoyed the food but we went at 7 pm and it was super busy and the service was a little slow. The restaurant had a very casual feel and we only got chips and salsa when we asked for it. The salsa was a little too heavy on tomatoes but still tasted good. If we were in the area again, we would definitely come here again. acation and we wanted to see if a highly rated Cambodian restaurant could come close to my wife and her mom's cooking at home. We decided to order three dishes and share them between the four of us. My 7 year old son and I really enjoy Asian noodles so I ordered the Beef Pad See-Ew. This dish was brought out first and all four of us really enjoyed them. Even my 11 year old daughter enjoyed the noodles although she doesn't care for them at home. They had a nice Cambodian assortment of vegetables in them and really hit the spot. The second dish we ordered was Beef sticks as we all enjoy them. These were good to all of us but were a little sweeter than we expected. We did notice how all the beef on the stick was so neatly and evenly placed which is hard to do for us. It would be awesome to know how that is done but we didn't ask. One of my daughter's favorite Cambodian meals is Beef and Prahok so of course, we ordered BBQ beef with Prahok. The Prahok sauce came out looking different than what we make at home. My daughter spread it over her rice and did not like it due to a lack of spice. When we asked for peppers and added them to the sauce, the food got better but we all agreed we like what we make at home better. Overall, the meal was good but if we were in the area, we would give another Cambodian restaurant a shot.“

Normally, my husband and I would prefer to go to LB Thai, but when we don't want to make that drive, we go here. The broth for the Thai Boat is always thick, rich, and full of flavor. I wasn't a big fan of their Hainan Chicken, which they only serve on certain days, but their Rad Na was pretty good. Super saucy with their gravy, but flavorful, nonethless. The pricing is pretty steep here for the serving size that you get. I felt like my plate of Rad Na didn't have too many noodles as I'd normally get elsewhere, but it felt like more veggies instead. I didn't really feel full after my meal, but it was fine. I wasn't trying to feel super stuffed either, I guess. But this is the place you want to go in the north for Thai Boat cravings.
