“The food here is absolutely amazing—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!!!
However, the service was a real letdown. The waitress gave us a rude and unfriendly look from the moment we arrived, and it seemed like she didn’t want to serve us. She barely spoke to us, took our order reluctantly, and never returned to check on our table for the rest of the meal. It was disappointing to experience such great food with such poor service. I hope they improve the staff’s attitude because the food alone deserves better.“

“I experienced a lot of Thai food near here and I am a Thai food lover. So I can tell that portions are more sufficient than other restaurant, the ingredients are fresh and the taste is very good. If you are looking for the authentic Thai food, this is the right place“

“A wonderful little Thai place, seating is a bit limited as it seems more of a takeout/delivery place but it's never too crowded that you can't sit down.
The food is incredible, and the service is on the same level. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near the area.“

“This is really a very small restaurant that specializes in Thai food. There were not many customers when we visited that night, so the environment was quite quiet. Since I was very hungry after work, I ordered more dishes. I personally liked their crab fried rice. It was not too salty or inexplicably sweet, but the Tom Yum Goong noodle soup was of a lower standard and didn't taste like Tom Yum soup at all. What’s a little surprising is that the quality of the desserts they serve is actually very good. Sticky Rice Mango is my favorite dessert. Although the mango is not sweet enough, I am still willing to give it high marks. The fried banana with coconut ice cream just won my wife's appreciation.“

“This is an underrated gem near the Rose Park neighborhood on 7th Street. The young lady and man working the counter are friendly and seem genuinely interested in serving customers. There's a cozy ambience to the place that is so inviting, and the food is great quality for the reasonable prices. Coming back all the time!!“

“Lam is a charming man that is prepared to talk with on any subject. We talked about Buddism, Music, and of course, Thai Food. I had Pad See Eew and it was absolutely fantastic. 3 egg rolls. Great portions, tremendous value, fresh and hot. Everything prepared as ordered. This is Gabriel Iglesias favorite Long Beach spot. definitely a 5 and only spent 12.00 for this great food. Thanks Fluffy.“

“"Thai District is a culinary gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The food was absolutely amazing, bursting with authentic Thai flavors that transported us to Thailand. Scott, our server, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Not only did he provide impeccable service, but he also shared interesting tidbits about the area, like the length of the actual “Long Beach” in Long Beach, adding a delightful personal touch to our evening. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Five stars all around for Thai District!"“

“Indeed there is no restroom here so prepare before arriving.
Caveat, growing up eating homemade Lao food, am a bit selective.
Kao poon. Broth is how I remember with chicken, semi sweet (coconut), salty, and a bit spicy. Additional dry chili topping but would have preferred fresh chilies.
Mok pla. Could use more spice, otherwise other than the salmon, similar flavor especially with the herbs, the dill is what gives it a nice herby fragrance.
Pad woon sen. With chicken. Good but not quite enough. Missing the soy/oil aroma, a hint of it is there but not strong enough for me and the noodle a bit overcooked and prefer with tomatoes for acidity.“

“My order of Pad Thai was ready faster than anticipated, and turned out to be delicious! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This place is a somewhat hidden gem and I will definitely be back. Be advised that when they indicate spiciness they mean it so, if you don't like things deliciously spicy, be sure to select mild or not spicy!
Kid-friendliness: The owner had a variety of games to keep the little ones occupied“

“Who would’ve thought that some of the best Thai food in the U.S. is hiding in Harbor City? I really wish I’d discovered Warin Thai Restaurant sooner—I'd be a regular by now! Instead, I kept going back to what I thought was the best Thai spot in L.A., all while unknowingly driving right past Warin Thai every time. Now that I’ve found it, I have to say, this place is a hidden gem.
To be honest, the restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside. But that’s pretty much the case with most places around here. Warin Thai is located in an old, modest strip mall, but let’s be real—you’re not here for the ambiance. You’re here for the incredible food, and trust me, it’s well worth it.
The menu at Warin Thai isn’t as huge as some other Thai restaurants, but it doesn’t need to be. There’s more than enough amazing options, from soups (which you can get by the bowl or pot), to appetizers like crispy chicken wings, fresh Thai salads, stir-fries, noodles, curries, and even dessert like mango sticky rice. Prices are pretty reasonable, too—about $8-14 for soups, starters, salads, and desserts, and $13-19 for the mains. And believe me, every bite is fantastic.
Here’s what we had for dinner:
Pad Thai ($13.95) – Stir-fried rice noodles with eggs, bean sprouts, cilantro, lime, and a tasty sauce.
Pad See Ew ($13.95) – Stir-fried flat rice noodles with eggs and Chinese broccoli.
Garlic Salmon ($17.95) – Grilled salmon served with spinach and mashed potatoes, topped with garlic sauce.
Green Curry ($13.95) – Homemade green curry paste sautéed with coconut milk, bamboo shoots, and eggplant.
Panang Curry ($13.95) – Thai basil, bell peppers, and kaffir lime leaves in a rich Panang coconut curry.
Glass Noodle Salad ($13.95) – A refreshing mix of ground chicken, shrimp, tomatoes, onions, roasted peanuts, and cilantro, tossed in a spicy lime juice dressing.
Thai Fried Rice ($13.95) – Classic fried rice with egg, onions, and tomatoes.
Every dish was phenomenal. As someone with a Thai background who’s been to Thailand countless times, I’ve got to say I was seriously impressed. Thai people usually aren’t easily wowed by Thai food in the U.S., but this place totally nailed it.
It’s hard to pick a favorite because everything was just that good, but if I had to choose one, the Glass Noodle Salad really stood out. It was honestly one of the best salads I’ve ever had—juicy, sweet, spicy, and packed with flavor. It’s a must-order for sure.
Overall, the food here is consistently amazing. If you’re craving Thai food, don’t hesitate—Warin Thai is where you want to go. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Came here on a whim the inside looks very pretty and it was quiet around lunch time I ordered togo and they were happy to help us we got the pad thai and honey duck both were amazing dishes but the best part for me was the yellow curry fried rice the flavors were so addictive it made me hungry again and again I finished everything we ordered I am so satisfied by this spot it was wonderful fresh and hot when they gave it to us and still tasted great 2 hours later please try this place there is parking nearby and it was a great surprise to find such a delicious hole in the wall
Vegetarian options: Most dishes can be ordered with tofu instead of meat .
Parking: There's a whole shopping center parking lot attached to this it's usually empty I've never seen it full.
Wheelchair accessibility: This spot is on the sidewalk and has just a small lip getting through the threshold it looks like any table there would fit a wheelchair“

“Happy Thai makes me happy.
While I haven't had the opportunity to dine in (yet), l've been able to order for pickup on several occasions.
Every time I call in, I get a friendly voice on the other side of the phone. They take my order, give me an estimated time for pick up and I'm there.
Their time estimates are on point as my order's usually ready by the time l arrive but on the very few times it's not; it's usually ready in no more than a couple of minutes.
Everything I've had is tasty but typically I alternate between the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew depending on my mood. Sometimes I’m feeling a little wild and I get both. Thai food makes for some of the best leftovers so no regrets. Everything is cooked to perfection and as expected with Thai food, very flavorful.
They even have desert if you have a sweet tooth, it's hard to go wrong with their mango sticky rice... that is unless you don't like mango, rice or sticky things.
The staff is friendly, the prices and portions are great and best of all, the food is delicious!
If you're in the area and are looking for some good Thai food, Happy Thai is an excellent choice.“
“Phi Thai Eatery is surprisingly good. We had the green curry, tom yum soup, pad thai, pad see ew, and veggie spring rolls, all of which they were able to make vegan and all of which were delicious. It was a life-saving meal after midnight when there’s almost nothing else open that has vegan fare, much less scrumptious, spicy eats like you find here!“

“We love LB Thai! Im allergic to shellfish and it's one of the few restaurants that mainly serve dishes using fish or oyster sauce that I will eat at. I've never had an issue with cross contamination and the staff is always patient when answering my questions about what is in a specific dish because of my allergies. My husband (no allergies) has had lots of dishes and loved them all too.“

“Very nice place to eat yummy food excellent customer service great prices and a wonderful atmosphere as a regular customer and being there the last time on July 7, 2024 I highly recommend this place with variety of food and desserts and many drinks like Boba hot tea, soda, Much more.
Vegetarian options: Coming from a vegetarian, vegan family yes they do have a wide range of stuff vegetarian and vegan wise in the sense of curry and tofu spring rolls as they called them fresh spring rolls with tofu in them and vegetables very yummy and if you let them know that you are vegetarian vegan they will work with you in the sense of the menu Letting you know if you want chicken or something your food not letting them know that you are vegetarian or vegan ??
Dietary restrictions: I know that they have salads that are very yummy. They make their homemade dressing for it and it’s the best. Other than that. I don’t know if they have dietary restrictions they probably do. They seem to have a lot in variety and always willing to work with your food choices.
Parking: Yes, bamboo does face the street but there is parking on the side and back of their building. It is free parking and there also is parking on the street which is very safe on Artesia Boulevard
Kid-friendliness: Yes, kid, friendly in the sense of a big area to walk around and having to get around to walk there’s nothing for the kids to play but to enjoy a nice atmosphere of eating with family or friends
Wheelchair accessibility: A open area for a wheelchair to move around yes, there’s white spaces in between the tables and even to the front door“

“The flavors here are so robust and I am very sensitive to spices, I always tell them please make my food mild- not spicy and they always do a great job keeping the food mild yet soooo flavorful!!!!! The service here is always great and fast, the one thing is it’s cold in there… great for people with hot flashes lol!!! I love them so I bring a warm jacket, but you all may be fine.
Please try the coconut soup with shrimp or chicken it’s so good! I crave it. Everything here is amazing though you can’t go wrong! Enjoy!!!“

“I think this is one of the better Thai restaurants I have been to in the area in terms of quality of food and ambience. I ordered the Tofu Phad Thai with no egg and the Vegetable and Tofu Curry off the vegetarian menu. Both were very delicious. The restaurant space was very nice as well with a nice bar. I will be coming back again whenever I am in the mood for Thai.“

“Support local! We went in because they have plywood covering a huge window. It doesn't look recent though because they've stored stuff in that area
Staff was friendly and decor was great. Outdoor like so you had this strange indoor outdoor feeling going on. I've seen many paintings of the (last) king but never a full bust before. The miniature food carts in glass cases are adorable and detailed.
Menu was outdated, the online one seems more accurate. Food was good if a bit sweet, which made it very nostalgic of south bay Thai food from a couple decades ago. Combos are nice to try a few things. The red curry was spicy (like not for farang spicy) which was great, they did not ask about heat level. Pad see ew was good with very light wok flavor. Mango sticky rice was pleasant. The Thai tea was huge
It's not the fancy, super authentic Michelin recommended Thai down the street. It's your local corner mom and pop shop. We'll be back to try the lunch specials“

“Beautiful place over looking the ocean. Amazing food and even better service. Ordered vegan versions of Tom Yum, Fried Rice, Panang Curry, and Pad thai. The taste of their delicious panang curry still lingers in my mouth. The portions are decent. the quality and the taste was top notch. The restaurant offers an amazing view of the ocean, great for any time of the day, but having dinner watching the sunset, having good food and a great company is just chef’s kiss. Definitely one of my favourite thai restaurants. Worth the visit.“

“The Dragonfly Thai is a local takeout/ eat -in establishment. Hubby and I ordered two different dishes. His was flavorful and well-received (Thai Kung Pao). Mine, Pad Thai with tofu, was rather bland and I needed to keep adding additional sauces to enhance the noodles. I ordered extra vegetables (paid extra) - and frankly it was hard to see what were the extra veggies and which were the ones that came with the dish. The staff were very kind and business was busy. I would go back - but not order the Pad Thai.“

“Nicely decorated, small but warm and inviting. Chicken coconut soup is on the sweet side, more than other places I’ve been. Parking is a challenge, very few spots and lots of signs next door declaring parking for 7-11 customers only.
Update 2 years later. DONT ORDER CARRY OUT! IT WILL RUIN YOUR EVENING. Great place to eat in but each time I try carry out order on line it tells me 20 minutes, then the receipt says 25 minutes. I’ve been waiting 45 minutes and they tell me still waiting on 3 dishes - the same 3 dishes they were missing 15 minutes ago. So yeah the food is good but not worth the frustration of extra long wait time, now 55 minutes when promised 20, and hope I get it within the hour. Kids back home are starving, waiting for me.“
