Izakaya Hachi Reviews
Great
Best authentic Japanese food! My husband and I live in the LA city, and we drive to Torrance occasionally on the weekends, just to get Hachi! It’s so delicious. I can’t stop 😂
I wish they had one in LA. The food is consistently good and on point, and so authentic and high quality like the foods that I had in Japan. My Japanese friend recommended this place, so I knew it would be legit but it’s quite mind-blowing. I love getting motsu nabe, saba roll,...read full review

Izakaya Hachi is a small restaurant with cozy seating that requires reservations. Known for its authentic Japanese cuisine, the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great spot for hanging out with friends. The service is warm, but some customers have noted challenges in getting their server's attention. Despite this, the food quality is high, with many dishes being so good that customers often order seconds. Popular items include the pork shabu shabu, beef tongue, raw oysters, pork belly, scallops, nigiri, sashimi, snapper collar, and chicken karaage, which is crispy and juicy. The restaurant does have limited seating time for walk-ins, and while customers appreciate the laid-back vibe, some feel rushed to make way for new tables. Although the restaurant closes at 9:30, which some guests find early for an izakaya, the food, drinks, and overall experience are commendable. Prices remain reasonable, and many enjoy the cozy setting despite the tight arrangement of tables.
