I've always wanted to come here and I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger. I can't believe it took me this long because I'd be a frequent customer many years ago if I had come sooner.
This restaurant opened over 40 years ago in the 1980s. They have not changed their seasonings or recipes since then. Food is not bad. Grill is very small - good for 2 people but not for 3 or more.
Ventilation is pretty bad, your hair and clothes won’t survive the bbq odor with smoke directly hovering into your face most of the time. Some people might actually enjoy this dinning experience, but definitely not for all.
Price is on the higher side, quality is fine, overall value is average.

I visited from Atlanta. It felt just like an authentic Japanese yakiniku restaurant, and the quality of the meat was outstanding. The premium kalbi, kalbi, salted tongue with green onions, and harami all paired perfectly with white rice, allowing me to fully enjoy true Japanese-style yakiniku. It’s definitely a hidden restaurant.
