“Visiting LA from the UK loved this place“
“Small bars usually offer a casual yet friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
• Staff Attitude: Most small bar staff are warm and welcoming. Unlike fine dining restaurants, they tend to be more engaging, often chatting with guests, recommending drinks, and even remembering regular customers’ preferences.
• Serving Speed: Since the main focus of a bar is alcoholic beverages, the food may take longer to be served compared to a regular restaurant. However, most bars offer quick-prep bar snacks to complement the drinks.
• Personalized Service: Some small bars provide customized cocktails based on customers’ tastes or offer hidden menu options to enhance the experience.“

“Great locals bar to visit. Friendly to randoms on both sides of the bar. Not an extensive liquor selection - ordering a negroni was a no-go. Shockingly excellent burger for being grilled indoors behind the bar. I heard a regular say they get their meat from the butcher shop next door. I'll definitely be back for another burger“

“I really enjoyed our stop at Purple Orchid. Some people say it's a dive bar, but I love a good dive bar so I fit right in! Our drinks were delicious and well priced for a tiki drink. The ambiance was dark tiki with darts, pool tables, and football on the TVs. Not a traditional tiki bar vibe, but a great neighborhood bar with a tiki overlay, as one of my friends described it. It was clean and cool and a nice break in our day. I would totally go back!“

“Great Atmosphere. Great hang out, nice local spot....“
“great place especially in the morning“
“The atmosphere is popping here! Excellent DJ, very welcoming people, and good vibes. The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“

Please keep in mind, there are no outside drinks allowed. Not even water. Iced water is served free of charge on request and bottled water is available for purchase.“

“De todo un poco diversión para adultos“
“This is a really unusual place. It is really clean and almost too perfect in terms of the facilities. The signage is even perfect. It was almost like being in the Twilight Zone.I liked the music, but the DJs talk far too much. Just let us enjoy the music!“
