“It’s such a lovely dump LOL! Love going there on Wednesdays for the rib eye steak. I hope they don’t ever remodel or change a thing in there including the ripped up mish mash chairs, wobble tables… it’s our favorite happy little place. We donated some ping pong rackets because theirs were sooo bad but they probably don’t even notice it. Dive bars for the chill low maintenance people. : ) Xo“
“Good long happy hour specials. Bartenders are friendly and good at their job. Locals can be easy to make conversations with. Wish a bit more variety of people, def a neighborhood joint. Never gets super busy in the times I've been. Glad to be close by.“
“Went on a Saturday night for the first time. There was a DJ that had the music and dance floor on point. One pool table but everyone seemed good in coordinating next games. Friendly atmosphere. TV’s around that showed videos of the music being played. Drinks are on point-try the Blueberry Muffin.Parking: There’s a parking lot adjacent to the bar.“
“Been here a few times, usually to shoot pool. The cook there is really cool, he said " u hungry? How about some Ensenada style fish taco's?"The fish was fresh, and crispy. Huge portions. The salsa was bomb, spicy. Super legit tacos, and I'm a classicly french trained chef, 20 yrs in the best resorts and restaurants in Los Angeles/Orange County. “A great hidden gem in Torrance! We had kimchi fried rice, fried chicken in spicy and non. And vegetable/shrimp tempura with a pitcher of blue moon. Everything was fresh and hot and delicious! The service was exceptional! There is a smoking patio and they are open late! A perfect dinner with friends!“
“My wife and I come to this location often. We come to this location specifically because the staff are so caring, nice and the service is outstanding! Our favorite waitress is a young lady named Jocelyn My 6 yr old granddaughter loves her and loves coming here. Jocelyn always makes sure she makes herself available to take a picture with our granddaughter everytime we go. All of the staff are very nice and that all starts at the top. The management/owners are very attentive and hardworking. This El torito location should be the example of excellence to all the other El toritos in the southbay.
