Not really a place for sashimi lovers, but has pretty decent deal for nigiri, tempura, and udon special combination. The tempura is cooked very well. The karage could have been juicier, but overall still pretty good.
This is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Torrance. I love their servers, they are warm and friendly. Love their manager as well. Food is decent and good prices. We go there at least 2 times a month.

This Matsui restaurant is small, nice & clean. The employees were great fast paced. Definitely the owner was excellent!! Super busy!! The food was amazing well cooked. You can’t go wrong. The sushi was alright but Go Go Matsui bowl & the cold soba was a bomb. Totally insane. I really liked it. Come early in the morning before the customers arrive. The seat gets full at all times.
