“Nothing to compare with locally because we are from Colorado Springs where the best local ramen (Rooster Ramen) closed years ago and we haven’t had anything good since other than a few hit pot places. Otherwise we were impressed by the service (Lucia paid closed attention to our table) and the speed at which our ramen and katsu was placed at our table. Broth, noodles and meat were excellent. No complaints from us and reasonably priced!“

“Josui is the most authentic tasting Japanese ramen restaurant I’ve found in Torrance. My personal favorite is the Abura Soba, especially in the warm summer months, but the Josui ramen both with and without garlic is fantastic. My co-workers go nuts for the Tan-tan men.

“Waited approximately one hour to be seated. Spoiker: it was well worth that wait. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and pork buns. I can't decide which part was better, the noodles or the broth! The pork buns were priced just right at $8 for 2. Some of the best I've had. You are all so lucky to have such a wonderful ramen bar in your community. I am from Maine and will be sure to stop by this establishment every chance I get once I am in town.“

“This small bowl of ramen was surprisingly delicious. The broth, noodles, and chashu were all great. I was expecting a strong porky smell in the broth, but it surprisingly tasted really good. The only downside was the price; it wasn’t as satisfying as the ramen itself. 😅“
