“The ramen was delicious and a very decent portion.
I paid about 18$ for the veggie ramen.
Service was also friendly.
The place had a very pleasant atmosphere and cool decor.
There are restrooms here, but no wifi.
The food is brought to you and makes a very fresh impression.“

“This is the best vegan ramen I've had. It's hard to find good, flavorful vegan or vegetarian ramen, but Jinya knows how to do it. Appetizers and small bites are awesome too! We've also met the owner several times and she's so nice and wonderful to talk to. She always remembers us. Highly recommend this spot and absolutely worth a visit.“

“October 2024.
Last night I came for dinner. My friend and I had a quick dinner. She ordered the salmon sushi plate. The presentation was beautiful. Each salmon was described well by the staff. She also ordered an a la carte chicken teriyaki, which she said was very tasty. I ordered the Volcano Ramen at level 2. It was spicy good! I don't think I could handle a level 3, but those who really like spicy hot dishes, go for it. The Volcano consists of ground pork, egg and more. The Volcano Ramen comes in one size, the large bowl, which I wasn't able to finish because I got full. There is a disclaimer on the menu that one cannot take home any leftover ramen. Overall, our dinner was simple and delicious. The staff here are all Japanese and many of the menu items share the origin in Japan where it comes from. This makes Kanpai very authentically Japanese.

I am back after 2 weeks and I brought a new friend!
We both ordered from the Lunch Set menu. There are lots of options during lunch and reasonably priced. Generous portions. The ramen broth is so delicious! The mini donburi bowls are filling! I have had the Unagi/ eel and the Salmon Ikura and both are really really good! The small salad has a wonderful unami dressing and the panacotta dessert is a wonderful palette cleanser.
We both ordered the RAMEN SET and shared a hot sake ( small ) from the Happy Hour menu. We both loved our meal and the shared sake and we will definitely return!
There is a small parking lot in the back. Make sure you read the painted marked spots for Kanpai.
September 2024
My friend stumbled across this authentic Japanese restaurant on Wilshire ( 22nd- 23rd block) and was very impressed! My friend lives part time in Tokyo and part time here in LA. She was reluctant to try this Japanese restaurant because she has high standards of the quality of what Japanese food should taste like!
The menu is vast, but we ordered from the Lunch Menu $20 we both chose a ramen: Miso Soy or Yuzo Shio and then we both chose a Don bowl. She chose the ikura ( salmon eggs) and I chose the Eel. The broth on both were sooooooooooooo tasty and flavorful. This meal comes with a salad with a miso dressing and wonderful panacatta dessert with a berry sauce. YUM YUM YUM!!!
There is also a Happy Hour menu that looked like something to try in the future.
Parking: Small lot in the back. Make sure you park in the Kanpai slots.“

“I love that I can customize my ramen !! I prefer noodles soft, and other ramen places I go I can't ask for softer noodles but here I have that option. Besides that the soup base is very rich I ordered big king squid ink soup ??. Will go back again while I'm in “

“I've been going to this Ramen spot for a couple of years now, and in my opinion this is the best ramen I've had. I've been to places in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, but I think this place comes out on top.
If you are looking for one of the best bowls of ramen you can get this place will not disappoint.“

“Very tasty, actually delicious food. All of it. We tried two kind of ramen: yuzu and Japanese curry, then avocado roll and truffle mac n' cheese. Everything was phenomenal and made with care. Very kind staff.
Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan!
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free noodles option.“
“That’s fantastic place. It’s very modern types of ramen which is a bit different with other any ramen shops in LA.
It’s greater depth of chicken flavor with truffle oil.
If you want to eat the authentic ramen like what we can eat in Japan, you must try.“

“Tsujita La Artisan Noodle Annex is the best Dipping Ramen ( Tsukemen ) in LA , closest noodles I’ve felt in Japan. Here the noodles are thick and springy, they kept separate from garlicky and flavorful broth to maintain the chewable. It’s perfect for me!“

“Ate here for thr first time today and I will be coming back. Often. Very impressed with the quality and deliciousness of the food. We ordered the pork buns and shoyu Ramen.
The buns were pillowy soft, flavorful, the right amount of fatty for the pork belly, and very flavorful.
The Ramen noodles were really really good. Tasted freshly made. The broth was deep, not too salty, and the chicken, which they say is marinated 24 hours, was delicious. Again the right amount of fatty on the meat.
I left feeling full and NOT gross / bloated how I sometimes feel after Ramen. I eat ramen all over the city and this is one of my new favorites.
The service from Adrian was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Jesus in the kitchen gave us a nod and had rhe food out quickly.
The ambiance was the only thing not 5 stars. There are tables along the center aisle and one direction faces the front windows where there's a glaring sunlight. Makes it hard to see your dining companion and it's just a little uncomfortable on my eyes. The seating was kind of typical fast-casual Japanese, aka stools not full backed chairs. Still a clean and nicely decorated atmosphere and certainly taking off one star for ambiance won't deter me from coming back.“

“The ramen here is DELICIOUS and the food always comes out pretty quickly. The kaarage is very tasty also. They have a ton of different drinks that you can get with or without boba, I particularly like the fruit teas - so yummy! I love the way the dining area is set up with cute Sakura trees and twinkle lights. The staff is always really nice too.“

“Great ramen spot I've been coming to for years. My go-to order is definitely the spicy chicken (first pic). Another great one is the Black Ramen (second pic). Parking is quite tight since it shares its lot with other businesses, but it's still worth it. Couldn't recommend this spot enough
They must have the Ratatouille guy back there in the kitchen, tearing it up. That's the only way I can figure out how they make their ramen this bussin'.
Dietary restrictions: Offer Gluten free noodles“

“Outstanding all around - Tsujita is committed to excellent food, excellent service, and an unpretentious atmosphere. The menu is great because it is so small: it essentially is Ramen or Tsukemen, served with pork or vegan, spicy or regular.
Vegetarian options: Vegan ramen available and it looks great!“

“I really loved this place! A little bit on the pricey side of ramen, but definitely worth it for the price! I don’t usually go for tonkotsu ramen, but this actually tasted like a ramen place in Japan. In reminded me of the food I had there years ago! Ordering outside also reminded me of ordering food in japan and it even hands you a “ticket” (your receipt) like as if you were getting a food ticket in Japan! Absolutely love! The service was really great with it being relatively quick and very nice. I will definitely be coming back more times and even want to try their $30 Kotoya Ramen! There was not a lot of parking available for its patrons with only parking in the neighborhood or street parking on a fairly busy street, but for a weekend lunch, it was fairly easy to get a street parking.“

“I ordered Daikoku ramen and really enjoy this egg noodle! Tonkotsu usually comes with very thin noodle, but daikokuya’s noodle is a little bit thick and chewy and very satisfying. The soup is a little lukewarm, so next time I will ask them to warm up a little more for my order and it will be perfect because I really like hot soup.
Parking: They got free parking for 2 hours!“

“The best Tonkotsu ramen in the valley hands down. We are ramen lovers and live in Studio City, our favorite ramen places are quite far away, so we have been looking for closer alternatives. Burosu has been a pleasant surprise, with full-bodied broths, fresh pasta and well-prepared ingredients. The service is always very friendly and the place is always clean, with a coffee shop atmosphere, good prices and good promotions during lunch and dinner hours.“

Ramen was on point - mind blowing with taste, texture and look.

“This place is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. It's one of several Asian restaurants and shops within the small food court of the Mitsua Shopping center in Mar Vista. It's all about the broth in a good Ramen, and this place has got it! Love it!“

“As much as I love tonkotsu ramen, the curry ramen at Menya Tigre was a delicious change of pace. Between the hearty, flavorful broth, the refreshingly simple toppings, and as much spicy fried garlic as my heart desired, I left plenty satisfied.“

“I never leave reviews, but as someone who loves sushi and has eaten at most of the restaurants and hole in the walls in the valley — this place is hands down at the top. The atmosphere isn’t fancy, more casual, but the happy hour deal and the quality of the food is solid. The staff couldn’t be nicer and more lovely. Highly recommend giving it a shot for a casual date night or if you’re craving some solo sushi time :)“

“I’m a local and always hit this spot up. It’s great quality, well priced and their ramen is better than many well renowned ramen spots in the valley. Honestly it’s under rated. It’s not “special” in terms of vibe it’s kind of cafe-style rather than fancy restaurant but I’d come here for any occasion and is an absolute staple for a quick lunch, a nice midweek dinner, and the service is always speedy and the staff are attentive and friendly…. honestly we come here like twice a week haha. Umigame we ❤️ you!?“

“I discovered Nomura from Google reviews and was not disappointed! I ordered sashimi snapper, salmon, and tuna, and all three were absolutely fresh and flavorful. My BF, who officially hates sushi and sashimi, was interested in returning and exploring some of the rolls other tables had ordered!
It was an excellent experience, and I will absolutely return.“

“Really first rate OG Japanese ramen. Includes varieties like curry, laksa, and tomato ramen that are out of this world. Appetizers are well made and diverse ( e.g. squid tentacles, chicken gristle). Very welcoming staff. A real winner all round.“

“Walked almost 45mins from the domestic terminal to here to eat this! Pretty expensive but didn’t disappoint. I ate the toroniku (pork cheek) ramen (US$24+) and it came with 5 pieces of partial fatty char siu which was super tender and melt in the mouth. Only thing that may not appeal is that the soup was more salty than the ones I have eaten in SG. My Asian food craving was well satisfied“
