“Susuru holds a special place in my heart. I’ve tried a number of items on their menus and everything is ???. I can’t stress enough about how good this ramen is. I’ve only known about Susuru for a month or so but have eaten here over 8 times. All of the broths are rich and authentic. The Thai coconut curry ramen is mind blowing and a generous serving. My go tos are the Miso and Tonkatsu. Add spice for extra flavor. I brought my coworkers here and everyone’s bowls were finished down to the last drop of broth. Easily one of the best ramens shops in LA. It’s got a great mom and pop atmosphere. Food comes out quick. What else can I say, I’m in love with Susuru. “Japanese ramen chain in the Century City Mall. Came here for dinner with a friend and had no reservation, but we were able to get seated immediately. Credit cards accepted. You pick out your customized ramen via a piece of paper and you can also opt for appetizers. A vegetarian option is available. We got edamame to split and I opted for the red king, which had a good amount of spice. Compared to the Manila location, the portions were on the smaller side, but we still left satisfied. You can customize the spice level, noodle type, and the toppings. Service was a bit rushed but still friendly. Overall, it’s a good spot to have a meal on a cold night.“

“I came here a long time ago when the restaurant was still pretty new. this place offers curry dishes - ramen, rice, etc. we got the curry ramen and Keema noodle. both were decent, however I'm not a big curry fan, so the dishes were a little too heavy and rich for me. It's pretty comparable to other ramen restaurants in sawtelle but this place specializes in curry so if you're a fan of that I would recommend!“

We came on a Saturday afternoon and even though there were tables open they asked us if we had a reservation & when we said no they made us wait which threw us off a little! Ended up getting the Hawaiian Poke combo with 1/2 cucumber and seaweed salad, and a ginger ale. My favorite thing off the menu is hands down the seaweed salad. The poke was good, I think that because it’s intended to be a new take on poke itself, I was a little disappointed. I just happen to love the typical assembly line style of poke where you get to pick everything you want, and that wasn’t an option here, so I felt like there was something missing. It’s really just about personal preferences, but if you really like poke & want to try something different, then I would recommend it!Side note: I didn’t try the ramen, but the entire restaurant smelled strongly of broth and butter noodles, (in a good way) so I would be curious to try their ramen next.“

“We just ate here this evening and the place doesnt disappoint. Its a tiny shop in a strip mall and the interior just feels so welcoming. The service tonight was pretty great, even with 3 kids, we felt so welcomed. Its hard to navigate with kids in small spaces but the food, the service and the space just felt very lively. “This was my first experience with mazemen and it did not disappoint. It was a recommendation from my buddy who lives locally and I will absolutely return. The vinegar adds a delicious change in flavor profile and compliments the egg yolk and the fatty flavor and umami taste and mouth feel. This was one of my favorite things I’ve eaten in the last year to be honest. Fantastic food. Great little atmosphere and great service. Totally decent pricing too.“

“I'm back at this restaurant and it hasn't disappoint me yet! I brought my son today and he is in heaven! I don't know why it says it's close when it's open? But it's under new management. The all you can eat menus are great and the food is amazing. For the money you paying it's worth the food your eating. Very tasty and decent size portions not to much rice! The service is definitely on point! I know the previous times I've been here service was okay and they would take a long time to feed you but this time around I give them 5 stars! Definitely upgraded in the service department...I definitely recommend this place come try it out! Definitely the best all you can eat place I've eaten! They give you good portions“

I had the California roll, the avocado roll, and the cucumber roll. All were good, though I thought the California roll had the crab-to-avocado and cucumber ratio mixed up. Only issues were there is no complimentary parking so you have to pay for valet which is 6$. With the already expensive ramen be prepared to spend about 40-50$ for two people.“

She saved my dog when it ran into oncoming traffic! She physically stopped the semi truck with her own two hands, even pushing it farther back so my dog was 100% unscathed. Then the solar eclipse happened and she was the last one illuminated before the sky went dark. One arm holding my little pug, the other halting the truck. She is truly incredible! ?“

“It’s a unique take on ramen, good depth of flavor, great noodles, but for me the truffle dominates and the richness of the soup is too buttery. Like it for something new, but I prefer a more traditional take. I like truffle and I have had a dozen bowls in Tokyo. I was expecting the price, but at the end of the night it felt too steep.“

Fun interactive experience for the lunch omakase with different dipping salts, and making your own sushi with rice, seaweed, and assorted season sashimi pieces. Waku waku also serves ramen, sushi and pokes. It all looks good we are staying up the block at the Dream only a block and a half away. We plan to come back soon. Recommend.“

The meal came out really quickly and the food was delicious. I was suprised that the hard boiled egg was thinly sliced than into 2 parts. It wasn't busy at all and a pretty decent space to move around. Theres also outside seating as well as indoor ones. The kitchen is right in the open area and isnt closed off so you can see all the prep and food. The drinks had different milk options, I chose soy milk. In total before tip it was $78. They also had different merch like tote bags, t-shirts and more. I was tempted to get the desserts, but was unfortunately too full to try them.Wheelchair accessibility: Theres no 2nd floor so everything is ground level.“

“I have eaten the pho here twice and have been impressed both times. The food is fresh, delicious and the portion is good. This is one of my favorite pho places in this area. They are never too crowed when I visit for lunch and the atmosphere is wonderful. It is privately owned and the service is great! Definitely recommended!“

My "nihongo" is not great, but the woman who welcomed us was all smiles and when I mentioned how it was KINDA cold ("chotto samui desu") she laughed and immediately started to speak in Japanese* and told us to sit wherever we wanted. She worked mostly in the kitchen area, but also took orders, while another older woman took our order but she, too, was very friendly. (*no, they speak English, you don't have to speak Japanese :-D )My wife and I started with the Chili Garlic Edamame, which is served warm and the flavor of the sauce it comes in was very tasty. We couldn't finish these because we dove into our entree's, but reheating them, at home, we finished the rest! They give you quite a lot of them!My wife got the spicy ramen and, not having had curry in quite a while, I ordered the chicken katsu curry. I will say, I was subject to LOTS of cheap ramen for a couple years, in my twenties, and it turned me off of ANY ramen, going forward... However, first my wife offered me the pork that came in the soup and it was very flavorful and the broth was great (you actually get the spicy seasoning as a little "blob" you stir into the rest of the broth) once I tasted that. So, I went ahead and tried the ramen noodles and I think I MIGHT try my own bowl the next time I go. It doesn't hurt that it was a rainy day and it was so nice, inside their place, with the warm soup... ;-)My katsu curry was great.. They actually serve the plate as rice, the katsu chicken and a japanese salad (can't remember what the greens were called) and the curry is separate so you can pour as much at a time as you want.The flavor was rich, just a little sweet, but not like some "Curry House" places that make the sweet overtake the savory. “Chibiscus is one of my favorite ramen joints in all of LA because the quality and price can't be beat. Their Tonkotsu is so full of flavor! When ordering takeout, the broth comes separate from the bowl ingredients so you can pour over when you're ready. Even to-go it's some of the best flavor you can find with ramen. Ingredients taste fresh and filling always. Service is pretty on the ball considering ramen can take a bit to prepare. You could sub proteins and ingredients to tailor to your dietary needs which was nice! The inside is relatively small and it's in an unexpected random strip mall, but don't sleep on this one!“
