“Wonderful experience at JINYA Ramen Bar in Topanga! My daughter and I came for our usual quick lunch and were seated at the ramen bar. Gaby made our visit especially enjoyable — she was so warm, attentive, polite, and professional.

What impressed me most was when I accidentally wrapped my aligners in a napkin and they were thrown away. I asked if they could be found, not really expecting it, but Gaby went above and beyond, found them, and brought them back to me! I was truly so grateful.

Something about the tonkotsu in addition to the charsiu pork absolutely reigned based on my memory of LA selections. “The ramen was great! Portions were good, broth was nice, noodles were cooked well. Toppings, however, are limited to only 3. I got the curry ramen which was different but unique. Also got garlic edamame...for the price it was a small portion but tasted great.

The service was fast. You order through tablets outside or inside. Reminiscent of Japan.

There's bar seating and a couple booths inside with additional seating outside. The space is very cozy and welcoming. Downside is parking. Its only street parking or if youre lucky the lot across the street.“

“It was a decent place for a decent ramen. The price for the ramen and appetizer combo was great, only $20. We got two combos. The ramen itself was good, especially good considering the price but not the best ramen I have ever had. I also thought that they gave us very little protein in the ramen. I feel like at other places they give you more. The movie theater is right across the street so it is a perfect pairing for a movie night“

They have a Japanese chef now as well. Honestly, if it’s this tasty again and they keep doing it like this I’m gonna come back more often. Available through doordashz grubhub and ubereats this small chain biz has an incredible creamy vegan ramen, spicy lemon grass ramen, veggie spring rolls, tofu nuggets, shishito peppers, edamame, rice bowls, salads, soups and lots of traditional Japanese and ramen dishes that will please your taste buds times two. They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable. “We were greeted by Aaron as soon as we walked in and seated right away. I ordered the Level 3 ramen with gyoza, and once again, this place did not disappoint. The ramen was flavorful, comforting, and had the perfect amount of spice.
My daughter wasn’t feeling well and wanted something warm, so we ordered the signature ramen broth with noodles for her. After eating it, she said she instantly felt better.

“My kids were raving about this place and they finally invited me to try this location. So naturally, I ordered their best items on the menu. We ordered the chicken pieces as an appetizer and we all chose a bowl of ramen. I ordered the beef broth truffle soup with an extra side of pork belly. The appetizer and the special sauce was delicious and the Ramen was amazing. As a big fan of Phó, this place was really good. Next time we come in, I will order the chicken broth. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star review was because of what management said to us as we dined. One of the people in our party did not have soup, they had a sandwich from the restaurant next door. Management came to our table and said that they didn't allow outside food to be eaten in their restaurant. With multiple restaurants located in this shopping center and No signs posted anywhere, I think this policy should be re-evaluated. Between the 3 of us eating Ramen, the bill was almost $84 with a tip. I think for the location being so close to other choices of food and the price, my family should be able to enjoy dinner together. I hope they change this policy in the near future.“

“For a chain, Silverlake Ramen comes very close to that super-authentic Daikokuya level of culinaru satisfaction.

I’ve mostly been to the original one in Silverlake,
And this location is definitely bigger (less wait time even at peak hours).

Food was great (Blaze Ramen and fried chicken app) although when I ordered “Medium” spicy I was expecting more heat! Will ask for max spiciness next time (or at least some extra chili on the side).“

They came back at least 15 minutes later or more and asked if we had ordered it and we said no. Asked if we are from it and we said no and they picked it up and took it to someone else. 15 to 20 minutes it sat at our table.
I am pretty sure that is a health regulation problem. Would you want food that was sitting at some random table?????“

“While the ramen is quite good, try their other non-ramen offerings. Katsu curry rice is very good here (katsu pork was prepared perfectly and curry flavorful) as well as their gyudon (beef over rice). Service as fast, friendly and attentive and the dining area was very clean. Value for the meal is excellent especially for West LA! Cannot recommend enough!“

“I finally tried Silverlake Ramen at the Porter Ranch Vineyards, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I’ve heard about Silverlake Ramen for years, so I was excited when they opened one so close to my house. I don’t remember the exact name of my order, but it was a chicken-based broth and I chose tofu as my protein (you can pick chicken, pork, or tofu). Seriously—YUM. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the toppings were just the right amount, and I completely got lost in that broth.

Everything was fairly priced, delicious, and the service was attentive and genuinely upbeat. I’m absolutely going back. We also tried a couple of appetizers—the gyoza and the crispy rice with spicy tuna—and both were great!“
