“My wife and I are from Sacramento, we cane down to NOHO for Universal Studios. We got here a day early and we always search for Ramen. We cane across this place. The place is small and seating is limited. Let's fast forward to the food. We both got the OG tonkatsu ramen at a mild spice flavor and eggs rolls and spicy edemame. The eggs rolls weren't special, the edemame was really good. Now for the main ramen it was delicious. The broth was thick and flavorful, the meat was cut smaller than what I'm used to and it was definitely a plus. Overall I will definitely come here again when I'm in the city“

“Good ramen, next time I go here, I'm getting the sushi, nice feel to the restaurant, but it's rather small, very few tables, the tonkatsu broth was delicious, and the chashu in the ramen was out of this world compared to other places, strongly suggest giving it a try“

“For a chain, Silverlake Ramen comes very close to that super-authentic Daikokuya level of culinaru satisfaction.

I’ve mostly been to the original one in Silverlake,
And this location is definitely bigger (less wait time even at peak hours).

Food was great (Blaze Ramen and fried chicken app) although when I ordered “Medium” spicy I was expecting more heat! Will ask for max spiciness next time (or at least some extra chili on the side).“

“This place doesn’t shout for attention, but the tonkotsu ramen is rich, creamy, and deeply comforting. Noodles had the right bounce, and the broth was clearly simmered for hours. The staff are quick without rushing you. I ended up slurping every last drop. A neighborhood gem for sure“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“

“The ramen 🍜 here is really good and the quality of the food is impressive. Ramen 🍜 bowls costing around $20.

I also tried the curry chicken 🐔 rice. The portion was a bit small, and the chicken was quite shredded, but the flavor was still pretty good.👍

The restaurant is clean and pleasant🥰. My only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn’t strong enough, especially in the hot🔥 LA weather. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would consider coming back.“

“Couldn’t be more happy about my experience today. The staff were very kind and helpful and the food was beyond fulfilling. Nothing cheers me up more than ramen and Kai took it that much higher. Something about the tonkotsu in addition to the charsiu pork absolutely reigned based on my memory of LA selections. I don’t think I’ll ever get this close to thins location any time soon but I’m glad it left a valuable place in my ramen filled heart. ❤“

“Broth was delicious. The deep umami and subtlety of clam notes made the ramen stock special. Adding the sides they offer like, garlic crisps, were a plus. However, in my opinion, I felt like the ramen noodles did not give the dish its 100%. My partner said it was good overall and I am just slightly nitpicking due to personal preferences of noodles, which were too dense to my liking. I felt like the noodles took away the broth’s complexity rather than a nice balance. At the end I just kept drinking the soup. The chashu pork was tender and not dry at all.

Aside from the ramen, the appetizers such as the karaage, were crunchy and slightly juicy on the inside. The takoyaki was also nice as well.

Overall, the vibe of the restaurant felt cozy and modern, yet I wish they could have played some music to add a little more atmosphere. Service was prompt and quick.“

Food: on the recommendation of our server, who was very helpful, knowledgable, friendly, and attentive, we ordered the Takoyaki and our server's favourite Spicy Garlic Pork Shoyu Ramen x 2. The latter was described as a "spicy soy sauce tonkatsu broth with garlic is served with two slices of chashu pork, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, egg, fried onions, seaweed, green onions, and buttered corn". I absolutely love ramen, and, to me, what defines any bowl is the soup base, described by a very learned chef as "an intensely porky, opaque pale broth with a sticky-lipped intensity, with the rich, buttery texture of light cream; the best sports tiny nubbins of fat swimming around on their surface, a slick of mayu (black garlic oil) or chile-sesame paste, a handful of thin-sliced green onions, a soft-yolked soy-sauce tinged egg, and a few slices of meltingly tender chashu pork belly". The broth definitely reflected the events described, and the many hours spent in preparation, with a rich texture and flavour, complemented, but not over-powered by either the chili nor the garlic. It was a wonderful recommendation that we would order again! All in all, the evening that left us very satisfied in terms of having our hunger sated, and taste buds quite happy... the true test is whether we return, and, should we find ourselves back in the city, we would most definitely make a return trip to try other dishes!!“

“I’m a pretty big foodie and have traveled extensively and lived in Japan and this place has my favorite ramen in the world. Their dandan ramen has such a delicious balance of flavor with a pitch-perfect amount of numbing Szechuan peppercorn. I recommend one of their tiny spoonfuls of complementary truffle oil to make it truly transcendent. If you enjoy Szechuan peppercorn at all, this will definitely be for you. Highly recommended!“

I don’t know the name of the guy and sorry about that I didn’t ask it, but I think you’ll know who we are. The girl in a purple dress and the guy with green sueter. We asked for ramen and poke bowl and they comes with very very delicious appetizers and boba drinks !! Like what ??? Really really amazing!! “Been wanting to try this place for a couple years now. Glad we finally did. Excellent food, much better than any Jinya Ramen. We had a bunch of appetizers. Indeed, their Takoyaki was amazing, Howard Yang! 😍 We had 2 seasonal specials, the Spicy Crispy Shrimp Roll and the cold Tan Tan ramen. Both were fantastic, albeit a bit too spicy for me. Service is super friendly. We will definitely be back. Want to try a bunch of other things, including the hot ramens.“

“I was a JA kid in the 80s and 90s. After CYC basketball games and Tamiya Mini 4WD races, my family would head to the third floor of Yaohan and enjoy the great flavors of Hana-Ichimonme. We first discovered this restaurant through online ordering during the start of the Covid pandemic. Every time we ordered here since then, the food and service have always been consistent. “got here at 11:29 AM and they were just opening up setting up the chairs in the tables outside. Everything inside looks nice. We ordered three different Ramen. They asked how hot how spicy and if you want the signature version or the regular version, the signature version comes with the lid over it and it smoked so when you take the lid off all the smoke comes out very nice touch. I also got some dumplings to add on top. Everything was delicious. Ramen cost about 25 bucks and the sodas for five dollars. There’s also cold tapwater available with paper cups.“

They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable.
