“I just had lunch with my two daughters, ages 12 and 15. It was our first time here.

We ordered three plates: two 3-birria taco combo plates and one order of vampire tacos with chorizo. We tried all the sauces that came with them, along with a 24-ounce horchata.

My girls and I are usually pretty loud. We talk. We’re animated. We gush over the food.

But when we ate these tacos, we ate in silence because the food was that good. To speak would have taken us out of the moment. So we said nothing. We just sat there, lost in our own thoughts, luxuriating in tender meats, spicy red sauce, and complex flavors.

This is how you get tweens to enjoy family time: really good tacos.

And guess who told me about this place? The 12-year-old. Apparently, it’s trending. I recommend it too.“

Creamy rich flavorful broth, tender pork cha shu. And noodles are just the right thickness.

“It's down and dirty, proletariat BBQ at its finest. THAT's the secret weapon. Simplicity of design and meats that are properly seasoned, then smoked to perfection, with sauce that's on-point. I grew up eating BBQ. This place rocks.“

“I am 65 years old. We had dinner at Humble Bird Saturday night. I have never, repeat, NEVER had chicken this good. Crisp, juicy (but not dripping like other places), no grease in sight. We got mild, but used the hot honey supplied and what a combination of flavors. We also got potato salad and slaw. Both great additions to an already wonderful meal. The staff was really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The place was spotless. I live north of Seattle, but would consider driving down just for more of their chicken...Well, and to visit my kids.“

“This review is long overdue. I love this place. I am a wine club member for only about $50 a month and receive two bottles every month of delicious wines I can't buy at the local supermarket; and Haley, the owner, always educates us on the wines. I've earned so much. Also, as a wine club member, we get 10% off anything we purchase including two free tastings each month. It's awesome and Haley is amazing!! She is so knowledgeable and it's like visiting family every time I come here. Love this place! Such a good variety of not only wines, but beer and Sake as well. “One of the most underrated coffee places. Staff super friendly and coffee is incredible. Great space and feels very cool with their rental spaces for various musicians etc available as well. Skip the gimmicky coffee down the street and get a cortado here.“

“Take your time gathering any of the many sauces and things. It went take long for your order to be ready, just pause and collect then return to grab all the sauces but yet bagged. Limes, cilantro&onions, salsa fresco, salsa Verde, salsa roja x2, radishes, grilled pepper and onions, crema, and more. All the things to make the meal your own.
A note about the carne asada fries (or any meat fry), is the use of a cheese sauce instead of fresh shredded cheese which some may like but not I. I'm guessing you can substitute the cheese for the desired experience.
This taco truck is worth a retry. The crowd certainly approves and has the right frame if reference to judge a taco truck. Rarely have I seen a throng of people eating at tables beside such food trucks let alone the steady stream of customers. Festive and lively, those customers add to the positive vibes of this sidewalk eatery. Just be sure you're at the right taco truck!“

The environment is calm, with others studying or working, and the staff is always welcoming. I fell in love with their cold brew with sweet top, it’s the perfect balance of bold and just a hint of sweetness. I’ve tried their chocoychip cookies, blueberry muffins and cinnamon cake, All delicious, though the muffins often sell out before 1 p.m. The only downside is they don’t have public Wi-Fi, but nothing a personal hotspot can’t fix. They were open until 4 p.m. each weekday, and I’m so grateful, this spot helped me get through my exams! The best part of it all is that there is always parking!“

I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything.
