“I live about 90 minutes away from Ernie’s but it is probably my favorite restaurant. Anytime I am in the area, like after a day at Universal, it is my go to place to eat. I just love it!!! Can’t wait for my next visit.“

“I absolutely love the food here real, authentic Mexican food!
Tonight I came in for my usual taco plate, and for the first time I saw the girl with tattoos working the night shift not gonna lie, she completely caught my attention. She has an beautiful smile, great energy, and some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced, Icame for the tacos, but I might have found a new reason to come back. Now I just need to find out if she’s single, because I definitely want to ask her out!😀“

“I am vegan. When my family lived in North Hollywood Leonor's was my go to restaurant. It was one of the few restaurants that my entire family would frequent. We used to eat there before it was Leonor's (we are talking 1970s). I think in 1980s Leonor became the owner... I don't know who owns it now... if it is someone in the family or not.. however, the food is great. I miss it. It's been a while. When this heatwave in Los Angeles cools off I will go and order lunch... Hopefully I recognize a face or two.“

“They have a pretty wide selection of food, and it's cafeteria style. I had the sausage and egg breakfast burrito and a tortilla soup. The tortilla soup was really good and the burrito was okay, but it's very affordable, especially for this area. Parking is all the way in the back, and you will see reserved spots for the restaurant. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, and there is plenty of seating.“

“Looking for a nice little burger joint in Burbank came across this place. the outside of this place look humble so we went in. Got to say the reviews are on point and the food is really good, we both got bacon cheeseburgers with fries which were cooked perfectly as well and on point. The staff is super nice I would definitely come back here again“

“I went to Casa 7 Mares Restaurant because a friend suggested me to try their food and to write a honest comment, well I don't consider myself an expert yet I've been around few restaurants and from my humble point of view I can make a suggestion. So Casa 7 Mares Restaurant is a decent place, isn't the greatest, as far as their menu it could be better, in general food taste has a way to go. I'm not impressed with the chef, no matter what you order. Unless you're hungry don't mind then is ok. Otherwise I suggested you keep going somewhere else.“

“Mom and pop shop. Great food, only reason I'm giving it a 4 is that really skimp me on the guacamole. I saw that they didn't have any left yet they literally scraped the bottom of the barrel to give me two little tiny containers. I could tell they added green salsa to compensate because it was runny and had too much lime to it. I would have had no problem that they had no guac but they gave me scraps instead...“

“Looking for a good Birria spot? Looking no longer! I have tried most Birria trucks around the valley but this place always take the win! Quesadilla? Queso tacos, tortas, tacos, consome? They have them all! Their meat has flavor. They don’t charge for their consome, comes with your order. Prices? Omg I got a quesadilla, 3 queso tacos, and 2 regular with 2 glass bottles for $23! You can’t beat this spot, give them a try and you won’t regret it!“
“La mejor. Comida mexicana en un solo lugar!!! Excelente la comida“

“Review: The Best Gorditas in Los Angeles & SFV
I've been coming to Carnitas Michoacan since 2013, and after over a decade of eating here, I can firmly say their Gorditas are the best in the city. I've tried Gorditas all over Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, but nothing compares to these.
The Food:
* The Masa: It is unbeatable. It has a perfect, super-satisfying crunch and is packed with rich, seasoned flavor.
* My Order: I always get a Gordita with extra meat and extra cheese. I alternate between the Asada and Al Pastor--both are incredible and offer totally different, unique flavor profiles.
* Pro Tip: Let the Gordita sit for just a few minutes before diving in. It allows the cheese to get perfectly melted and gooey (see my video for that cheese pull!).
* The Salsa: Their Salsa Roja is signature for a reason. It'S So good that I always ask for extra to use on other meals at home.
* Drinks: Don't skip the Horchata. It's flavorful and authentic without being overly sweet.
The Service:
The owner is a sweet, kind woman who has treated me like family for many years. It's the kind of local spot where you feel genuinely welcomed every time you walk through the door.
Note: This is a CASH ONLY establishment, so make sure to hit the ATM betore you arrive!“

“If you want a quick, cheap, no grills and delicious, street style taco fix on this side of the border in NoHo, Sandy's is your place. Buche, cabeza, tripas, al pastor, you name it, they probably have it. I usually get those three and it sets me back $15 for 7 tacos. They are not that big so depending on your appetite, you might need more. I usually eat that in 2 servings. Oh btw, "cash" only!“
“This is what you call mexican food. this are authentic street tacos the best!!! #TacosElGordito“

“We went here twice during our trip, everything was so fresh and delicious! Had the best breakfast burrito of my life, with eggs, bacon and nopales. There's a small salsa bar and tasty agua frescas. Large portions, homemade with great quality. Highly recommend.“

“Been coming here for over 20 years. The food is consistently delicious (pozole is my favorite and all the caldos as well as birria) but what has always been a hit and miss is the service. It’s mostly unfriendly & welcoming of customers especially who consistently have been loyal. This afternoon’s was an example. There wasn’t a warm welcome to a familiar face…it was “what are you picking up?” Ok whatever I’m used it. What bothered me is I asked for the salsa that’s provided for the pozole for my chicken soup. The lady said it would be .55 cents. Really? I mean you already charge an extra 75 cents for credit card transaction & provide unfriendly service. No consideration for loyal customers. No thank you. I’ll just use own homemade salsa.
Next time I think of chicken soup for my sick daughter I’ll go to La Maria Restaurant (down the street) who has a good chicken soup, better service, and doesn’t nickel and dime.“

“Casita Taco Mexican Grill is definitely a 5-star experience all the way. Luis and Aida provided amazing service and made us feel very welcomed from the moment we arrived. The food and drinks were excellent, everything tasted fresh and high quality, and the restaurant was very clean and well maintained.
You can really tell they care about the customer experience and the quality of the food. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Mexican food, great service, and a great atmosphere in North Hollywood.“

“Excellent carne asada. That's all I've had so far: Carne asada nachos (no beans) & carne asada burrito with meat, sour cream, cheese only. Add the hot sauce as I go. Mild has a subtle heat to it. I prefer the slightly spicier green sauce made with tomatillo for that slightly sour vibe with a good level heat. Guacamole is also decent. Open late, with a drive through, which is great! Have come back twice more for a cheapo burrito less than $10, as it should be. Fast ordering, faster execution and order fulfillment. Loving this place!“

“I just had lunch with my two daughters, ages 12 and 15. It was our first time here.
We ordered three plates: two 3-birria taco combo plates and one order of vampire tacos with chorizo. We tried all the sauces that came with them, along with a 24-ounce horchata.
My girls and I are usually pretty loud. We talk. We’re animated. We gush over the food.
But when we ate these tacos, we ate in silence because the food was that good. To speak would have taken us out of the moment. So we said nothing. We just sat there, lost in our own thoughts, luxuriating in tender meats, spicy red sauce, and complex flavors.
This is how you get tweens to enjoy family time: really good tacos.
And guess who told me about this place? The 12-year-old. Apparently, it’s trending. I recommend it too.“
