“Obsessed with the vibe of this place! It is relatively new and feels that way for sure. The lighting is moody and aesthetic and the whole dining layout is visually interesting. I like how there are also tables of all sizes to accommodate various parties. If you have been to Granville in Burbank which is nice already, this location feels classier and fancier.The food (especially the artisan bread and butter) is delicious. I appreciated how easily customizable the meals were. I swapped brussel sprouts with my steak for a salad and my friend swapped one of her sides as well with no grief.They also have a nice happy hour menu, not a lot of variety there but reasonable price cuts. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the service was a little slow but everyone was friendly and helpful. It isn’t a huge restaurant because although it is two stories, the second floor has a huge opening to enjoy the alcohol/light feature. My party made a reservation and it worked out great. The brisket was well seasoned and very tender (almost too tneder], the pulled pork was soft and a good mixed of stringy and chunky pieces but a little too dry and the burnt ends were juicy. The garlic bread was tasty and the cornbread was tender and not too sweet. The homade bbq sauce variety was nice, including the mustard sauce for the pulled pork and maple bbq sauce.For the sides, the garlic potatoes were tasty but the mac and cheese was average because it was too thin and lacked en I ugh cheese taste.Service was quick and efficient.“
“Unbelievably good food. I had the Memphis style pork rib meal. The dry rub is perfect and delicious. Add the occasion dip of their homemade BBQ sauce for more perfection. The beans were homemade and had a light smoke flavor with some meat in it. The potato salad was unique and delicious as well. They take real pride in their food as they should. “Although I’m writing this review for this location, this is just my review for The Stand as a restaurant overall. That said:This place is great. Their burgers aren’t world class or anything, but they’re a far cry better than any fast food joint not named In N Out (and even then I’m debating if The Stand burgers are better). Fries are crisp, seasoned well, and the entire meal comes in an adorable little tray. The hospitality is also something to take note of. Soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by a TM with, “Hi! Welcome in.” That by itself shows this place treats you not as a customer but as a guest. This is the Mendocino Farms of burger joints in my opinion. Nice sit down place with a number placard. They deliver your food. Everything is a la carte so it will be a tad expensive if you want the full shebang of entree, side, and drink. But for what you’re paying for, the food is for sure worth it and they do ensure guest satisfaction here. No need to bus your table because they’ll do it for you. They even have a sign that literally asks you not to clear off your table and just let a TM handle it. Great music selection. TVs provide something to look at and watch while you wait for your food or eat. A large menu. From steak bowls to salads to sandwiches to burgers with a build your own burger option. Even the desserts are just something to really sink your teeth into. I don’t frequent The Stand a lot but whenever I do, it’s pretty great. “We enjoyed everything we ate during our dinner at The Front Yard. Be prepared to spend some $$$, but the quality of the food supports the rate (especially in LA). I had the brussel sprouts, 12-minute cheese biscuit, the filet (with tasty mushroom sauce), and smashed fingerlings. I wasn't wild about the fingerlings, but everything else was SUPER yummy. I also enjoyed the blackberry cocktail, and one of the cabs they had on their wine-by-the-glass menu. My fellow diners enjoyed the deviled eggs (not my thing), the bacon-cheese biscuits, the tagliatelle, short rib, and mushroom flatbread. They also had the strawberry cocktail and the Garland 1972. Everyone really enjoyed their meals, and it was a nice place to catch up with old friends while we ate. I would highly recommend getting a reservation, as it looked like there were quite a few folks waiting for tables when we arrived.“

They bake their sandwich bread inside what looks like a large brick type open oven as a pizza place would do. When you order a sandwich, your bread is pretty much baked to order as you watch. They're able to do this as the sandwiches use a flat bread style.You place your order at the register they give you a number and you can wait anywhere in the cafe where they will bring you your food regardless if it is for here to go.It appeared as though it was the manager who was filling the roll of expediter, inspecting, packing & running completed orders to guests.I have to hand it to the person that was handling this at 2:27pm 3/8/24. This gentleman was extremely friendly, gracious, professional, warm, welcoming & part of why I would come back sooner.Please, pass on to him how noticeable good he is at the things that he does.I left feeling like I had made a good decision to go there and I would like to come back. The guests in this location appeared well put together with a mix of middle and lower classes.My final comment is not one directed to this establishment itself. My only complaint, if you can call it a complaint, is the general cost of eating out. The final bill with two sandwiches, each coming with a small side salad automatically was a competitive $24 which is a tidbit too high for me. The cash register uses a system to ring you where you are automatically asked to accept or deny leaving a tip to which paying customers likely never appreciate.The location seemed steadily busy at 1:30 in the afternoon on a weekday but not so busy where it was uncomfortable or a noticeable wait for food. There is plenty of seating inside and out with umbrellas outside and a fenced-in patio which is across the street from a park. They gave me a whole new order of the lettuce wraps with extra lettuce for my original order as well as an extra brownie and cookies.
