“After seeing a suggestion in a FB group, decided to give this place a try at around 3pm on a Sunday. The lady that rang me up had a welcoming personality and another lady delivered it with a beautiful smile! The menu options are affordable. the food was so fresh and the restaurant was very clean! My day started out ho hum, but with the amazing friendly service and great food, it made my day I left with my tummy and heart happy. This will probably be my new Sunday spot Appreciate Y'ALL!“

“It's not a fancy place. It has a rustic vibe, and the people working there are genuine human beings. A real family restaurant.

On Mother’s Day, a homeless person started a fire outside on the street near the restaurant, and every member of the staff jumped in to help put it out while still managing to take care of all the guests. A corporate place probably would have shut down.

We went with 12 people, and gratuity wasn’t even included on the bill. I gave the waitress a little over a 20% tip, and she said it made her day. I’ve tipped over 20% at corporate places before and didn’t even get a thank you.

The owner is a genuine lady, and the staff are family people. Can’t say enough good things about them. If you're into fancy places, this spot might not be for you. But if you like authentic food, real people, and a rustic restaurant with good vibes, this place is a gem.“

Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." The music was powerful, but so discrete as to be gentle and gentile. Woodwinds, Bass, and Drums - all played with the kind of delight that makes everyone love the performers as well as the music. As for food, one dish stood out particularly: the creamed spinach with blue cheese. Please tell Chef I would love that recipe! I'm back home in Tennessee now and plan to attempt to copy it, but having the authentic recipe to serve to friends when we entertain would be over the top! “the size of a 4 top table in a booth being far too cramped for 3 men and a lady, the experience at Black Market was, again, top-notch. Lauren, the manager and many hat wearing server, took exceptional care of our table. Food was fired in the right order. We had courses come out at just the right times and great suggestions from the staff. The Korean bbq wings, the cauliflower, burrata with peaches, and the bolognese were perfectly cooked and delicious. Drinks are also fantastic - I had a classic Negroni. We'll be back .“

I will tell you that Los Angeles hit the best food probably anywhere, but this gentleman PETER he creates very unique food, which is Michelin type food. I stopped in for a late lunch. I was warmly greeted by Daniel. Daniel set the course of my entire dining experience. He offered to answer questions, and really knew the menu. He was friendly, and confident in demeanor. I could tell he enjoys being there! Every restaurant needs a Daniel💙
I had the impossible BBQ burger ( I'm not vegan, it had cheese and bacon!) and it was sprinkled with crispy, french fried onion bits. It had a brioche bun, and the whole burger was fresh and delicious! I seldom eat a whole thing of fries, but these fries, glittered with fresh parsley, were absolutely perfect, fresh and hot.
The location is clean, and they have fresh flowers, which was a beautiful touch. I cannot wait to return! Thank you, Daniel and team! A++++++“

“This place is awesome, came for the World Cup but will be returning for the food, service and vibes. Mussels were so flavorful and filling. Grilled cheese and tomato soup paired nice. Fish and chip - drive are fresh and light, fish is so moist and light with little to no traces of oil. Drinks are heavy and great.
