“The service was excellent. The owner is so kind and generous. I tried the chicken lule kebob wrap it was huge so they are generous with portions. The wrap had good flavor and was very filling, the chicken was just a bit too tender for my liking. My sister got the beef kebab plate and loved it. Excellent food & service. The place is also clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. Nice little spot in the heart of Sun Valley.“

“My first time here. Service was a bit slow, the place looked kinda messy. The guy at the counter could have cleaned and organized the place, it wasn't busy. Food was nothing out of the world. That doesn't mean food is bad, it's just another fried chicken place, that's all. The good thing is that they serve Halal chicken which is A+. So regardless of what the place looks like, I will be going back to this joint. But I do think that food is over priced. Store front parking is a plus.“

The MOTHERLOAD a nice combo plate to try other items in one; the tofu scramble, za’atar potatoes and biscuits were awesome.

The HOT SHROOMS were awesome wish we got the house made bread but we didn’t ?

The REALLY GOOD SALAD was nice only wish was it was a bit colder to give it a refreshing kick

Definitely down to try the pasta and pizza. It seems like majority of people dining. We’re getting the pizza.

Ambience was nice and clean from the bathrooms to the overall restaurant dishes are picked up pretty quickly and tables are cleaned

“We visited Cara restaurant for my birthday, and it was such a lovely, cozy spot! The ambiance was perfect, and the staff were all very polite and attentive, which made our experience enjoyable. We started with the caramelized Brussels sprouts, oysters, and truffle fries. The oysters were incredibly fresh and definitely stood out, while the Brussels sprouts and truffle fries were decent, though nothing extraordinary. For drinks, we tried the Cactus and the Cali, and both were fantastic! We really enjoyed them. Our main course was the chicken shawarma. The flavor was okay, but we felt the presentation could have been better. Overall, Cara is a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. We're looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!“

“While I wasn’t particularly floored by Cea-Lo LA, I would still recommend everyone go there. The service was friendly but almost too laid back to where there wasn’t really a flow to the ordering process. This isn’t a big deal but it was a bit confusing knowing who was going to be helped next. I also wasn’t given utensils or napkins with my order, I had to ask for them. As for the food, I got the Fly Fish Dinner with Collard Greens and Potato Salad. The weakest element were the Collards. Although it didn’t bring down the whole meal, it was disappointing. They had a good bite to them but lacked any real flavor and just tasted like cooked greens since they weren’t made with a ham hawk. The Potato Salad, on the other hand, was great. It was properly cold, there were just enough chucks of potato and egg to add texture but it was still very and I think there was some pickle relish in there too which added some good sweetness. The Fly Fish was stand out. The pieces are huge so it’s a great portion. The fish itself is breaded perfectly and super delicate, melting like butter when it hits your tongue. I would highly HIGHLY recommend the Fly Fish and Potato Salad. While not everything was great, the things that were, were amazing and I would love to go back to try out more of their menu.

“This review is long overdue, we recently moved to the NoHo area, and while exploring the eats and offerings of the neighborhood we visited Granville during our first month here.

WOW WOW WOW! The food, the ambiance, the drinks, and the service are always TOP NOTCH! it wasn't until recently that we found out they are also open all weekend for Brunch and the brunch menu is also amazing.

The way all the menu items mingle with each other in flavors and textures, really allows you to be adventurous in what type of experience you want to have with the food. The drinks are also ace! some of the best ones in that entire block (we have gone to 99% of the bars and establishments on this block already) and the bar staff at Grandville is fantastic! they are true mixologists who know which perfect drink will pair up with the menu or your mood.

The food is an array of comfort foods but elevated to gastropub modern Americana style, like their Artisan Bread with duck fat butter is out of this world and a must every time we visit. The Wagyu burgers are total self-pampering bites in a bun. The thick-cut pork chop is heavenly and so comforting with the cloud light mash potatoes and delicate greens.

Brunch items are made with as much care and love as the regular menu, the eggs are fluffy and wonderfully seasoned as are their bacon, sausages, and other offerings that come with the breakfast items.

If you have a sweet tooth, Grandville also has you covered here, and although its a smaller selection you will not be disappointed (I highly recommend the Lickety Split!)

This place is one of our all-time favorites and we are finding it hard to stay away (currently coming in once a week)

“It is a small deli located near sunset blvd. Mostly meant for grab and go but theres 4 seats if you want to eat there. I went during lunch time on Saturday and there was no one there. There is only street parking on the residence streets.

I had the chopped chicken on a roll and it was SUPER filling. I was full only halfway in. The taste is similar to chili. I had a bite of the Classic chopped cheese and its pretty much a philly cheese steak but chopped. Both super delicious“

“We were having trouble deciding where to eat while we were in this area because there are so many options. We ended up eating here, and I think that ended up being a great choice.
Even though it looked busy, we were still seated very quickly. We expected a two-seater outside in the heat but were instead given a nice booth inside. Already off to a great start!
Our server (I believe her name was Rochelle?) was amazing and attentive and had great energy.
We ordered a couple cocktails which were both great. Tasty but still had some kick to them.
