“Couldn’t be more happy about my experience today. The staff were very kind and helpful and the food was beyond fulfilling. Nothing cheers me up more than ramen and Kai took it that much higher. Something about the tonkotsu in addition to the charsiu pork absolutely reigned based on my memory of LA selections. “Wonderful experience at JINYA Ramen Bar in Topanga! My daughter and I came for our usual quick lunch and were seated at the ramen bar. Gaby made our visit especially enjoyable — she was so warm, attentive, polite, and professional.

What impressed me most was when I accidentally wrapped my aligners in a napkin and they were thrown away. I asked if they could be found, not really expecting it, but Gaby went above and beyond, found them, and brought them back to me! I was truly so grateful.

“Delicious ramen with rich black soup that tastes so authentic it brought me back to Japan (in the future time lol) Paired perfectly with a cold Sapporo beer — pure comfort. Amazing and purposeful service by Sarah, Kate, and Mona. Friendly, heartwarming, and attentive — they truly made the experience feel special. They all deserve a holiday pay raise and recognition for their great work. The owner/chef Toshiro adds a level of authenticity that makes the meal feel real, warm, and crafted with care. “We were greeted by Aaron as soon as we walked in and seated right away. I ordered the Level 3 ramen with gyoza, and once again, this place did not disappoint. The ramen was flavorful, comforting, and had the perfect amount of spice.
My daughter wasn’t feeling well and wanted something warm, so we ordered the signature ramen broth with noodles for her. After eating it, she said she instantly felt better.
We’ve been coming here for years because the food is consistently delicious and the service is always welcoming. We’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!“

“My local ramen spot in Valley Glen, Los Angeles, California on the border of Van Nuys and neighboring North Hollwood. Ramen Izakaya is great from take out or dine with a plethora of beverage options as well as eats. Available through doordashz grubhub and ubereats this small chain biz has an incredible creamy vegan ramen, spicy lemon grass ramen, veggie spring rolls, tofu nuggets, shishito peppers, edamame, rice bowls, salads, soups and lots of traditional Japanese and ramen dishes that will please your taste buds times two. They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable. A unique Japanese cuisine eatery with some LA Valley flavor and modern plant-based flare.“

“Haven’t been here in a while and saw that they were closed before I came and now they’re open. I tried their soft opening and wow, what a difference the Ramen is now. They have a Japanese chef now as well. It’s the same good taste, but it’s on another level especially the pork they’re making it fresh now they told me because it’s very big difference and they’re gonna do that daily. Honestly, if it’s this tasty again and they keep doing it like this I’m gonna come back more often. Also order the Giza that was even better than before, but the girls was pretty good before but it just even better now. The curry rice I also got that tasted exactly the same so no changes there. Definitely try the pork and see for yourself you’re gonna be shocked how good it’s now.“

“There's no doubt they have the best ramen in town and we have great ramen selections in LA. But the Blaze pork broth and pork buns are to die for! The service is often incredibly fast, full meals are served within a couple minutes! One of the best places to visit for a savory meal.“

“My kids were raving about this place and they finally invited me to try this location. So naturally, I ordered their best items on the menu. We ordered the chicken pieces as an appetizer and we all chose a bowl of ramen. I ordered the beef broth truffle soup with an extra side of pork belly. The appetizer and the special sauce was delicious and the Ramen was amazing. As a big fan of Phó, this place was really good. Next time we come in, I will order the chicken broth. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star review was because of what management said to us as we dined. One of the people in our party did not have soup, they had a sandwich from the restaurant next door. Management came to our table and said that they didn't allow outside food to be eaten in their restaurant. With multiple restaurants located in this shopping center and No signs posted anywhere, I think this policy should be re-evaluated. Between the 3 of us eating Ramen, the bill was almost $84 with a tip. I think for the location being so close to other choices of food and the price, my family should be able to enjoy dinner together. I hope they change this policy in the near future.“

“Had an amazing experience at Shiso Sushi Sherman Oaks The sushi was extremely fresh, high quality, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality of the fish in every bite.

The service was friendly, professional, and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was clean and relaxing. Everything we ordered came out fresh and delicious.

“For a chain, Silverlake Ramen comes very close to that super-authentic Daikokuya level of culinaru satisfaction.

I’ve mostly been to the original one in Silverlake,
And this location is definitely bigger (less wait time even at peak hours).

Food was great (Blaze Ramen and fried chicken app) although when I ordered “Medium” spicy I was expecting more heat! Will ask for max spiciness next time (or at least some extra chili on the side).“

“My wife and I love sushi. We enjoy Katsuya and Nobu and many other fine establishments. We stopped going to these places (at a risk of sounding old) because of the the noise, the attitude, the kids screaming and have discovered this amazing gem in Encino - walking distance from our home.

It's a quiet place - under control - a relaxed atmosphere - friendly staff and helpful chefs. Most importantly - Incredible sushi and more - a very extensive menu.

One of us got broken up with? Silverlake is there for us, and it makes all the pain go away. Celebrating a test grade? Silverlake here we come, and suddenly that test grade feels 10x better than it did before that delectable soboro bowl. But honestly, we needed no specific occasion for a trip to silverlake. The food transports me every. Single. Time. My friend just moved away to college yesterday. So instead of going in, I ordered silverlake for delivery for the first time. And truthfully, I was nervous, I ordered the classic ramen. And I now realize how foolish I was to doubt the greatest restaurant on earth. Currently in my kitchen, with my friend away at school, feeling company enough with the most magnificently delicious bowl of food ive ever had, yet again.“
